A great establishment for a relaxed atmosphere, nice patrons, and employees. Bartender Desiree is awsome. Thanks for the fun time!

My friend and I walked in on Saturday before a concert, one of the best times I ever had with a friend! Staff were friendly, we brought in pizza so we could sober up because those drinks hit hard! But were yummy! Best time at Jim's!! We'll be back for sure when we're in the area!! Music and ambiance were great too!!!

Nothing but a bunch of old drunks go there. Bad place to go . Bartender less than nice. Drinks served in glasses with lipstick on them.

Staff are personable. Good selection on local draft beers…read more Their wings are actually phenomenal - great size and seasoning the price is unbeatable on their specials Mondays and Thursdays I believe. Unfortunately the rest of the food is extremely steeply priced. Nothing wrong with the food per say but the $21 burger is small and lacking for the price. Same thing with their $15 hot dog. Good. Just small and overpriced. I'd suggest they have food specials every day to keep steady customers. I.E maybe a $10 burger special Wednesdays, 3 tacos for $10 Tuesday's etc. Thursday nights are really fun with line dancing and country Emma. The karaoke and trivia nights during the week skew older and are kind of a "unique" vibe at times. Have yet to come during the weekend but will soon I'm sure

We eventually made it here after failed attempts elsewhere to find a place offering the NFL Ticket…read more Junkyard does have it. The place is very well decorated/interior designed. It's really cool. And cozy. We sat at a high-top table away from the bar. We usually sit at bars, but that's ok. Got there late. TV's are everywhere. Not a problem finding a tv with our game on it. Our server was perfection. I think her name was Kelly but can't swear to it. Very attentive and very nice. Good looking, woman, too. The food was good. I ordered the wings. I don't like wing drumettes, especially the really large ones. I prefer the wing tips. Wing drumettes are supposed to be small. The whole idea is that you eat many of them like you would a snack or appetizer, not one or two really big ones where you get full, like a KFC wing. But the wing tips were normal sized. And they were flavored well and cooked properly. We also ordered the nachos. While I appreciate the thought, no thanks. Sports bar nachos should be sports-ish. I mean, melted cheddar or nacho cheese smothering yellow corn chips and chili or ground beef, and beans and jalapenos. The nachos at Junkyard are boutique, like something women would eat at The Henry or Viggilucci's. The Junkyard has a sort of rough and tough motif, you know, steampunk/biker/mechanic/car enthusiast. The nachos should reflect that theme. Other than that, we will definitely be back. OH!..one more nuance. The back corner tv's are blocked by this huge "Junkyard" sign over the pool table. Hope those tv's weren't the expensive ones. Maybe raise or lower that sign. My view in photo.

I will not post the price here, so as to give them the courtesy of our changing times, but I will tell you that you cannot find a glass of Austin Hope Cab for anything near their WW price! Great flavor and so smooth. Food was really great - our table ordered the Buffalo chicken dip (huge portion of chips and the dip was delicious) for an appetizer- I think it arrived in three minutes. Carne asada tacos, fries and farmhouse salad with chicken and the beef sandwich were all super tasty. We had to try a dessert and it was hard to pick just one as they all sounded so good - landed on the apple crisp and it was perfect and the best warm caramel sauce. Food is fresh, good quality and everything was great. Service for drinks was the fastest I've ever encountered in any restaurant- seriously! For as large as this place is, they have it running like a machine with food runners and wait staff choreographed perfectly. It's also a neat atmosphere, lots of tables, full bar and good vibe. We enjoyed our meal and overall experience. Highly recommend.

A local spot with a sports bar vibe. Perfect for a quick bite on the way home. We were seated immediately by the hostess. It was pretty busy for a Sunday evening. Noticed a patio in the back of the building and asked if we could be seated outside. Not a problem. Our server promptly came over and greeted us. She was great. We mentioned it was our first visit to the restaurant. She gave us some suggestions on menu items and they turned out perfect. We enjoyed the AED Eggs to start. Julie had the Driptorch Salad for her entree. Added salmon for protein. I had the Code 3 Burger. The jalapeños added a nice bit of heat to each bite. For dessert, we enjoyed the Rescue 10. A flourless chocolate torte drizzled with raspberry sauce. Had to get it à la mode as well! Overall a great find. Don't let the small entrance fool you. The food and ambiance behind the door will keep you coming back for more! Keep on Yelp'n!

Family owned with local ingredients and there hasn't been a single thing I've gotten here that I haven't loved. Their burgers are TO DIE FOR and let's talk about the wings. Believe it or not, a place called, "Burger Bench," of all places has the tenderest, most juicy, tasty wings! After trying Wing Stop, Epic Wings, and BWW - Burger Bench takes the cake by far. They're always perfectly cooked and sauced to perfection. The service is ALWAYS friendly and prompt. Sometimes it can be a little loud with the music, but ultimately it's a great place for lunch, dinner, solo, groups, dine in, or take out! The place has a cabin feel with the wood work and cozy feeling. Sometimes it's a little dark after coming in from outside so you need to let your eyes adjust so you can read the menu. Amanda was my server today. And like any of the other servers I had before her, all were friendly and helpful. I was opting for a soup, sandwich and salad for today's meal. I asked about the sour of the day. Amanda shared that it was Toscano soup. She described it has a broth/cream base with potato and sausage, and kale. I selected a balsamic dressing with my house side salad. My cocktail for today was an espresso martini. Amanda mentioned that it was not made with espresso coffee, that it was espresso liquor. I asked for Bailey's be added (additional $2.50 a shot to the martini). It was very good and I'm glad I added the Bailey's otherwise it would have been too strong. My meal was perfect! That Toscano soup was very flavorful. My grilled cheese sandwich was made with pepper jack cheese. I will try the traditional cheddar cheese next time. The sourdough bread had a stale taste to me. Not sure if it was, but that was my take on it. It didn't stop me from eating it all (came only half a sandwich). I pretty much finished my plate (a little salad left). All was great along with my cocktail. I enjoy coming here. They do have outdoor seating if you wish. There is street parking with a 2 hour limit. There is some all day parking no fee for either. This entire street is extra busy on the weekends.

Honestly, the food was overpriced for the quality, quantity, and flavor. The Caesar wrap was missing the dressing entirely, and even though I asked for extra croutons per the server's suggestion, there wasn't a single one on it. The French dip sandwich wasn't impressive either. It was over-salted with kind of boring bread. The chicken strips were good, but honestly the most memorable part of the meal was the side sauces, which we got overcharged for. Their buffalo sauce is 10/10 and the "spicy" BBQ wasn't actually spicy but still had good flavor. $90 later, I was disappointed thinking I could've made this whole meal better at home. I get that a busy Friday night means pushing orders out quickly, but that shouldn't come at the cost of flavor or quality. With that being said, our server was patient, kind and a sweet gal! Unfortunately, we won't be coming back
