A great dining experience, always! Today's breakfast was delicious, just like every dining experience here. My breakfast favorite is The Plaza omelette, made with egg whites & home fries with onions. My husband's favorite is the bagel breakfast sandwich with egg, ham, and cheese. I have dined here for lunch as well and have enjoyed every visit to this hometown diner. We've enjoyed various menu items and all have tasted delicious. The owner and wait staff are very personable and make you feel welcome. Clean environment. Family friendly. I have dined here with my five grandchildren. They brought out complimentary orange slices for the kids as well as coloring books & crayons, while we were waiting for our meals to be prepared. Substitutions....no problem here. Enjoy this hometown dining experience!

West Wayne Diner is an unassuming but very good sized community diner and gathering place. With good reason: They have a good menu and great food. Sundays the magic hour for gathering seems to start around 9. They filled up fairly quickly. Hours are 5A-2P Tuesday thru Sunday. Along with the more typical fare they have a few nice surprises: Breakfast Links are proper "bangers" - fat, rounded links as opposed to the more typical slender cylinders from Jimmy Dean, Bob Evans, etc. Lean and meaty. Ham - they give you a reasonably thick slice of cut off the ham REAL Ham, not deli-meat. Now for the Bonus surprise offering: Banana Nut Bread and Pumpkin Bread French Toast. Thick, decadent slices, available with eggs, meat, and even home fries or hash browns if you're that hungry. Coffee is decent and they try to keep the mugs full. A wide variety of Smucker's jellies and jams, orange marmalade to go with a good selection of toasts including both rye and pumpernickel. If you're on the East side of Rochester or Western Wayne County, stop in and enjoy a great breakfast.

Located in a plaza; Greek, Canadian, and American flags don the front of the menu. The menu has a few Greek dishes, nothing Canadian and a whole lot of American. I ordered a reuben, which was served piping hot, a good amount of corned beef (not sure if they pre-grilled the meat, but it had tightened up and although thinly sliced slightly tough). The dressing was delicious. My friend ordered the chicken ceasar wrap which came with a slew of fries and big chunks of chicken. We sampled the house pastitsio, served with rice which was fabulous. The side greek salad was fresh and delicious. The pastitsio was tender, flavorful and slathered with a hearty bechamel. We also sampled the spinach roll. It was kind of like a princess leia braid of spanakopita, moist, flavorful and flaky.

Unfortunately I would not recommend going to this restaurant. The food is not up to par, will not be going back.

The downstairs bar was full and the tables looked occupied- so when a server suggested we try the upstairs lounge- we went upstairs and found a nice spot in the corner with 2 little table in front of us. A couple of us had a Mortalis IPA- they have the Mortalis lineup of brews on tap and in cans. Another member of party had one of cool cocktails that they offer- the Diamond Dog. Vodka, grapefruit , elder flower and cucumber. Another had an Espresso martini- complete with 3 coffee beans floating on top. We ordered 2 of their wood fired pizzas- a Bee Sting and another with pepperoni and sausage. Really good! The vibe upstairs was very chill- they have another bar up there and 6-8 tables. Exposed brick and wooden beams give the place a great feel. We definitely enjoyed this new version of an old haunt of ours. Will be back!

As an IPA guy I was very psyched they had four new IPAs on tap and available to go. I made my standard order of Hot Buffalo Wings and a Pizza. Their wings are one of the two best in Rochester. Orders the Zeus Hot Homey pizza which was amazing. I live in NYC which has the best pizza in the US but the only place you can get Cup & Char. Such a shame NYC hasn't discovered this treasure.

I rarely give out five stars. Between the abysmal customer service that seems rampant these days…read moreand fast, slapped together food, this is a Hidden Gem (promise not to tell anyone, o.k ?) I was done with work, tooling around Henrietta, and thanks to my errant GPS, took a wrong turn down Clay Road. That's how I found this place. Since I came in on the Clay Road entrance, I had no idea it was actually in the Holiday Inn and Suites, on the corner of Jefferson and Clay Roads. Of course, this means that it has a huge private parking lot. I used the Clay Road entrance, leading directly into the restaurant. It's actually bigger than you would think. It's very sleek, modern and cosmopolitan. To the left as you enter, is a gleaming, polished, black marble bar and barstools, with large, flat- screen TVs flanking the bar. I seated myself at one of the tables between the bar and the long, rectangular high top that separates the dining room. On the other side of the rectangngular table, is a spacious, living-room area, with comfy chairs and sofas, and another large flat-screen. It's a great place to gather and have drinks, or just relax and scroll through your email. There were over a dozen people enjoying their drinks and laughing and a couple of teenagers chilling on the sofas, intent on their cells. An impeccably groomed server, Preston, immediately came over and greeted me and gave me a menu. He served me both times that I was there for dinner. He asked about my mother, which was kind. I was impressed that he even remembered, considering the amount of people he serves. He even remembered what I had to drink (Prosecco) the first time. I usually avoid eating in hotels, even while on a trip in bad weather. Between his excellent service, and the delicous food here, I was warming to eating in a hotel, even if I live in Rochester. The first time, I asked him what he suggested; he said their burgers were excellent. I ordered a build-your-own Burger, with cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce, and onion. The burgers all come with a side of fries or Pub Chips. Preston said that the Pub Chips are made in-house daily. I went with those. I changed my mind and canceled the lettuce, fearing iceberg. Being rather soft-spoken, he probably didn't hear that, and my burger arrived with lettuce. Fortunately, it was not the iceberg that I loathe; it was a nice wonderfully green and crisp leaf lettuce. I took one look at the Burger and thought "Oh Mama, there's no way I'm going to finish this sucker," as it was huge...like the Grand Canyon of burgers. I'm not a picky eater, just not a big eater. But I had a very light, early lunch, and was pretty sure I could eat most of it. I ate it all. I'm not generally a fan of fried foods, but the pub chips were beyond delicious. It was all I could do to restrain myself from eating them all; I saved some for my mom and it was quite a sacrifice. She devoured them. Last week I bounced in and decided to try their chicken wings. Man, they really give Richmond's a run for their money: large, meaty drums perfectly slathered in delicious buffalo sauce. They were served with a handful of carrot and celery sticks and the de rigueur blue cheese. Nice presentation, too. I highly recommend trying this Hidden Gem. This place not only knocked my socks off, it made them roll up and down.
