CASH ONLY This spot used to be in North Winton Village but has since moved to Main Street. I'd known about it for a while but never made it in glad we finally did. It's primarily a breakfast place, but they serve lunch too. We came in for lunch. You can seat yourself, and service is pleasant and efficient. Specials are listed on the TV in the restaurant. I had the Turkey Club--tasty, generous portion, and I added fries for a small extra charge (no big deal). My husband had the corned beef sandwich; he said it was good and exactly what he expected it was good, but not great. I'd come back to try breakfast, though I imagine weekends are busy. My only gripe: I wish the check showed the total. You pay up front, and I felt awkward not knowing the amount I even went back to leave more tip. It's a diner, so you know what to expect simple, straightforward. 4 out of 5 Street parking available.

This place is just okay in my opinion. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is your typical diner. However, the food wasn't anything to write home about. The portions were large, but the food didn't have a lot of flavor and didn't stand out to me. I would eat here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Based on previous reviews I read, I was quite disappointed.

Solid standard diner operated by a wonderful family. As with many diners, you can certainly find something you'll like. Food was good, especially the specials. Some bits and bobs weren't our favorite style but pretty typical for a diner.

Food and service were very good. Good prices but it is cash only. There is an ATM in the entrance though. Corned beef appeared to be premade but eggs, toast and coffee were good. Has a lunch menu as well; would recommend !

Jim's on Main is a small (but not cramped) diner on East Main Street. I was running errands around downtown and was craving a grilled cheese, and decided to stop in. I had heard good things about Jim's and embarrassingly had never been there as a lifelong Rochestarian. There's no real parking here, or at least not during construction on what looked like might be their parking lot. There are maybe two street spots that were occupied when I went there. I took my chances and parked in the Blackfriars Theater lot since I'm a season ticket holder and thought maybe they wouldn't mind? I feel like someone had told me before they were cash only, but I of course forgot. There is an ATM right as you walk in with a $2.25 fee. My grilled cheese and side salad to go were ready super quickly. Servers were friendly and this would have been a nice place to sit and eat lunch had I had more time. There is even a wifi password but I forgot to write it down. I'd tell you to give it a try, but if you live in Rochester, you probably already have!

Cute brunch spot. Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily it was just two of us because it was pretty busy when we arrived around 12! Don't forget they are cash only! They have nice variety in their breakfast and lunch menu. I got the late riser and upgraded my toast for cinnamon Texas French toast. My boyfriend tried their Elena burger. We both thought the food was only okay. Our potatoes weren't very crispy and some of my home fries were not cooked all the way. They were pretty busy so it took a bit for the food to come out as well.

Waitresses were super friendly and the food was fantastic as the whole family enjoyed. Downside is cash only, but it is what it is for that.

This is the best diner in Rochester with bargain basement prices. Small space and good service. It is cash only.

The server was friendly. The bad: they were woefully understaffed. It seems like there was one server for the entire restaurant including two large parties. Ours was one of those parties. Our reservation was at 6:15. We were seated quickly but did not see a server for at least 30 minutes after. It took at least another 30 minutes to get half of our drinks, another 15 to get the other half, and another 30 to get appetizers. When our main dishes came out, some were not very hot, the crab fried rice was missing crab, but the rest of the dishes were good. After appetizers, dinner and dessert we left the restaurant about 2.5 hours after arriving. I'd try this restaurant again because the food and drinks were good but it's probably best to go with a smaller party.

Service was friendly and the weight staff checked on us a lot. I ordered the Caesar salad with french fries the garlic stuffed bread, and we tried to the spiritless cocktails on the menu. I enjoyed mine, but my dining companion's (the Saturn) tasted like straight juice. With dinner, I wanted to get a draft beer and was able to sample the two IPAs. While one was tasty, I didn't order one because the beer was lukewarm. I got a burger, and companion got the black cod. The burger is $32 and a full pound and served with a heap of fries. For the price, less than impressed. The overly thick patty was just too much. It was dry and just not for me. I would rather have two well-seasoned and juicy thinner patties. The fries and sauce were good. But not $32 worth of good. The cod itself was decent but it came in a sauce that was cold and odd tasting. Ambiance is fine. It was loud and crowded, but clean. Service was friendly.

It feels like the kind of place you could easily spend a morning working, meeting friends, or just enjoying good coffee. I ordered the Banjo Bird on a brioche panini with grilled chicken, garlic aioli, pepper jack, kimchi pickled cucumber, tomato, and arugula. The flavor combination was fantastic. The tang from the kimchi pickled cucumber with the creamy aioli and pepper jack made every bite really interesting. Flavor wise, it was easily a 10/10. The only downside was that there was a bit too much sauce, which made the sandwich pretty soggy and it started falling apart while eating it. Still delicious, just a little messy. Their website also seems a bit outdated, which made things slightly confusing before visiting. Overall though, I really enjoyed it and can't wait to come back to try the coffee and a breakfast sandwich.

It is also pretty affordable, with a range of items and prices. We ordered the Hi-Fi Burrito and a side of house red skin homefries. The portion sizes are generous, and nothing was greasy. I also love that they plan to use fresh produce from the public market in the warmer seasons. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it!!
