a plate of french toast topped with whipped cream

It was sort of a struggle to find a high quality breakfast joint in this area, but Ezzy's became my spot. Most of the pictures you see from other reviews are accurate to what you get when you visit. Menu is diverse enough where you can change it up between different savory or sweet items every time you come. The breakfast dishes might be a tiny notch below some of the best places in downtown, or elsewhere in the county... but for the North Greece area, it's pretty but the best. Service is great, because it's a small operation who tries to put their best foot forward. Despite it being situated in a little strip plaza, the interior is surprisingly nice and the place is well taken care of. They are tech savvy enough to accept payment via QR code on their receipt. Scan it, it takes you to Clover, Clover takes payment, and if you have Apple Pay it's pretty much instantaneous after that. Most don't care about these quirks, but I love it! However, Ezzy's does come with a big negative quirk that must be worked around if you want to enjoy the place: they're not always open! Like I said, it's a small family joint, so staffing issues hit them hard. Much like their payment system, however, this can be solved with modern technology: add them on Facebook. It's that simple. If they're not open, they will let you know! It took me years to try this place because of this factor, but I kind of regret not getting there earlier. Wasted many good breakfast sittings eating the subpar at the place just north of the parkway. If you're local, add them on Facebook and give them a shot.

Turkey Club Omelette w/ a side of Hollandaise sauce

Love this diner. I always get the turkey club omelette with home fries and hollandaise sauce. The omelette has turkey (real turkey) , bacon, tomato and cheddar cheese. I usually get sautéd onions in my home fries but I forgot. They still were good just needed some salt and pepper. My father got the cinnamon roll French Toast. That was so good. It was soft and full of cinnamon flavor. It melted in your mouth. When I go back I'm definitely getting that.

I went to Ezzy's on a whim and it became a stable in my mind for breakfast on a Saturday morning. They offer great food for a very reasonable price. I didn't leave hungry and I couldn't wait to come back. I would give 5 stairs but I got pancakes that day that weren't very good as far as texture. They seemed a little grainy. My wife's French toast was wonderful and so I will probably stick to that for next time. We also got a huge breakfast with the works. Sausage, eggs, toast, home fries, I might be missing something but that's a ton of food! Overall I loved the food and would highly suggest them to anyone looking for a good breakfast.

I'm downgrading my previous 4 star review to a 3. Today, they gave my 2 year old a drink, which she promptly spilled everywhere since they didn't have any kid-friendly cups. Nobody ever offered another drink, nor even asked if we wanted another one. Easy party foul!

    Bells breakfast bowl

I say this was a 2 star experience and my husband says 4 so I am meeting in the middle and going with three stars to say this was a-okay. We met Adam's grandparents here for breakfast at 10 on a Saturday and had no problems getting a table. Our waitress was great and the perfect amount of attentiveness and the other staff members were great with coming around for free coffee refills. I love the decor in the restaurant. It is all very cute and welcoming. The restaurant itself has two areas. A small one with a few tables and a bar and the large section which is the main restaurant. The main area is a good size full of tables and booths. The menu was good in that it had a ton of really great options. I kind of had a tough time picking something out to eat however the menus themselves were gross. They were very sticky and you can tell they are wiping the menus down with the rags they clean the tables with as the ink on the front and back covers were bleeding and it made it very difficult to read. Adam got the cheesecake pancakes with strawberries and a side of bacon. The pancakes were huge and he loved them. He ate every bite and was full for nearly the rest of the day. I got Bell's breakfast bowl without onions and with sausage. I was very happy with the portion of my meal and I was also very full for most of the day however I felt my meal was very bland. Sausage can be very flavorful but theirs fell very short and since it wasn't very flavorful when I was eating the gravy I felt like I was just eating butter, flour, and milk. It was all sooooo boring. I made it better with salt and pepper but I hate when I have to put salt and pepper on my meals. Yes, I cook with salt and pepper as you really should but once a meal is done, it should be flavorful enough that I don't have to put a ton of salt and pepper on it to give any type of flavor. The prices were good especially since I didn't think my meal was that great so thankfully I didn't overpay for food I wasn't happy with. Overall, it was okay. I probably won't request or suggest coming here but if someone else did, I wouldn't put up a fit. I will make sure I get pancakes since according to my husband, that's where it's at.

This is a great breakfast spot. I haven't come here for anything else so I can not judge their lunch. I have been meaning to go try it out but between work and life I haven't made it yet. You can't go wrong with breakfast. It's pretty tightly packed in there so you may wait a little bit but the turnover is fast. I got 2 over easy eggs with hash Browns and toast with a side of meat sauce . Their meat sauce is pretty on point. I dislike when it tastes like too much cinnamon.. theirs is perfect. I won't frequent a breakfast place without stringy hashbrowns. They also do very well cooking these. Yummmm I had a couple bites of my mom's pancakes and they were delicious . Everyone really enjoyed their breakfast that we brought and we will all be back .

Ezzy's is a nice family diner in Greece. It is never a long wait to be seated and you will be greeted with a friendly staff soon after you're seated. Don't let the crowd turn you away the service here is very fast. There is also a counter available for even faster service. The menu is filled with options there are 19 different pancakes to choose from. With options ranging from candy to fruit to cereal. If that's not sweet enough for you there is a combined 15 additional waffles and french toast options to choose from. If you are more of a savory breakfast person have no fear countless omelette and egg scramble plates are available. If that isn't enough they have eggs Benedict ranging from classic to fried chicken. An assortment of sandwiches and wraps are available and if you don't like what they have you can't create your own! Same for with the omelets and the egg scrambles! Did I mention that ever here taste great! If you've never been and you love breakfast it's a must try!

The Italian frittata with s side of marinara

I've been here before and they do the best breakfast. Due to fact we have no power, it's nice to sit down in a warm, friendly restaurant for hot coffee and hot food. The food was awesome. The host was very pleasant. Our server Val was great! She stopped numerous times to ask if we needed anything else and kept our coffee and water filled at all times. My son asked for hot sauce and she asked "Tabasco or Franks?" It's this kind of attention that makes a diner average or great. Ezzy's is great. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good home cooked meal! Thanks to them for making my cold Sunday a little better!

Ezzy's was not the first choice for us either times we've been there...I didn't even know it was there , frankly, and had to rely on caveman bf for his knowledge of Greece for someplace to go the first time when all the places we'd tried were crazy busy and the second time cuz the entire town was shut down during a snow storm. THe menu has changed since the first time we were there and that's a good thing cuz I had a hard time reading the first one. The plastic over it had been on so long the words were blurred on some of the menus. Anyway, new menus... clear and full of yummy diner options. I liked the frittata list and got a Greek version that was really good and left me with leftovers for the next day and Craig was of course able to find an all meat omelet that he loved. Potatoes were good... coffee and unsweetened iced tea was plentiful. Both times we've been the service was efficient and friendly. Good diner choice in Greece. Take my word for it... we're "diner people"

All it takes is taking off the glasses and letting its hair down, and suddenly you realize just how attractive and special Railway Station Diner really is! It's the quintessential reliable diner. Above average food. Below average prices. Regulars. A counter. Good service. Quick service. The Mediterranean frittata was wholesome and filling. The ingredients, fresh. It came with roast (up charge for raisin toast, but worth it!). The breakfast sandwich with shred, too, was perfectly proportioned; the crunch of the English muffin and the squish of the sausage balanced each other exactly equally, like Neo and Smith in that third Matrix movie. But the true hidden gem was the muffin. Cut in half and grilled. With sugar crystals! Not too big. Not too small. Not so sweet as to be dessert-like. Just perfectly sweet enough to make you not regret "going savory" by getting the frittata as your main course. Next time you're asked about the best diners around, make sure Railway Station Diner is part of the pantheon.

We did go at slightly off peak times, since we weren't working those days, but at those times, the restaurant seems to be a favorite of retired men, which is a good sign for a diner! They have a set menu and a specials board that I think changes daily. There's 2 full pages of breakfast, and at least 2 pages of lunch, plus the board. I'm sure you'll find something you like. I had the same thing both visits - a cheese omelet with hashbrowns and wheat toast. It was really cheesy, and I liked that it was a 2 egg omelet rather than 3, for me it was just the right size. We also split a piece of the rotating coffee cake, cinnamon walnut that day, and it was good - not too sweet, plenty of cinnamon. The guy had their 2-2-2 combo and was happy with that choice. For both of us, breakfast ran about $35, for 2 entrees and coffee, plus the cake.

Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst restaurant experiences. We spent 2.5 hours total at the restaurant. After waiting an excessive amount of time, we watched two tables that arrived at least an hour after us receive their food first. When we politely asked if our ticket might have been missed, we were told those tables ordered before us, which simply wasn't true. We were then told the delay was because burgers take a long time but a nearly two-hour wait for a burger is pretty wild. It took about 25 minutes just for someone to take our drink order, and we were never asked if we wanted additional drinks. We had to flag staff down for everything. No ketchup, no hot sauce, nothing offered. The $30 mimosa flight served in tiny glasses also felt like a complete scam. When the food finally came, two people in our party were served 15-20 minutes before the other two, and the food was cold. One dish had completely raw eggs. When I let the server know I couldn't eat it, she came back and removed the meal from the bill, which was appreciated. However, the interaction itself felt tense and dismissive, which made an already frustrating experience worse. They did give us a round of breakfast shots to try to help pass the time which was appreciated. The food itself was disappointing overall. The breakfast burrito was basically all eggs with raw, bitter avocado, and my husband's burger was missing requested toppings. We also noticed food sitting in the service window while we continued waiting. The only person who was happy with their meal got the biggie fries an it was hot when it arrived. To make matters worse, the bathroom was unheated on an 18° day (feels like 2°) and not clean. We're a pretty chill, patient group and understand that kitchens get backed up but man, this experience completely missed the mark. Ironically, the cooks thanked us for our patience and servers said goodbye pleasantly on the way out. We honestly may have let a lot of this go if the service hadn't felt so dismissive when we calmly raised concerns.
