At 11:35a.m., I was finally called for my evaluation. About twenty minutes later, after a brief assessment, I was told simply to "come back when it doesn't hurt." By 11:55a.m., I was back out the door--just in time for their lunch break. In the waiting room, I noticed a tipping chart encouraging patients to calculate gratuities based on the total insurance payment, not just their co‑pay. That struck me as inappropriate for a medical setting. I came seeking relief, but left with no improvement and deep disappointment. The visit felt like a waste of time and money, and the experience left me questioning their professionalism and priorities.

My initial intake appointment was great and I felt the evaluation was very thorough and they…read moreunderstood my issue. However I had my first appointment and was basically left alone the majority of the visit. They would show quickly me a stretch and walk away to go work on their computer every single time--often before I even performed it once to see if I was doing it correctly. On my first visit someone should have at least observed me doing each of the exercises once to ensure I'm doing them correctly. At the end they said "you're all done" and I had to ask if I should be doing the exercises at home, which ones I should do, and for how long. They said "you could do some of the exercises we taught you at home every other day" and provided zero printout or guidance. I'm not sure if my experience was a fluke, but this was a really disappointing experience.

They have been kind and patient with my girl, which is HUGE for me. Staff is incredibly appropriate when assisting my kiddo hands on ; also a plus for this momma bear. They follow orders, know their anatomy and always ask you if you are in pain the day of your visit. They are not a typical office running behind on schedule. They are punctual! Which is pretty impressive. If I was asked what one thing would I change I would say that patients, especially PEDS population, should only have 1 therapist working consistently with the kiddo. Every single healthcare provider has a different approach to their craft. The body knows that. Plus it helps the kiddo build trust with their therapist. A thought. Oh, and a guardian should stay in the building wile accompanying minors too. Food for thought. I'll end with this. I'm incredibly grateful that these humans exist.

I normally don't give negative reviews, but I feel inclined to include one here…read more I'm not particularly sure if this clinic has any experience working with athletes (which I am). I went in for four of my eight approved sessions; I was the only patient wearing stretchy clothes--all other patients wore jeans, and a few even wore sandals. Given that I was an athlete, they treated my physical therapy more like personal training. My exercises were difficult, and when I mentioned that my leg was uncomfortable or showed them how wobbly/unstable my leg was because of the exercise and current weakness from my injury, I was told it was "good", walk it off, and move on to the next exercise. I've been in and out of PT for a while now (different issues, all affecting my legs). Whenever I'd mention an issue, or the PT noticed that I wasn't holding up, they'd switch the exercise/stretch for something that I COULD handle. I also didn't appreciate having to work with three different PTs in one session. Each time, they'd simply read the chart, hand me the equipment I'd need, and then walk away. There was even an instance where I had a question about my form, and no one seemed to know what the "correct" form was. I had to finally cancel service because the last time I was there included a new exercise (again, without proper supervision), which caused me to injure my back. Athletes, or parents of athletes, steer clear of this place. If you want to be back to your full potential, please go to an actual "sports" physical therapy clinic.

Had about 6 sessions and every session he showed the same diligence in his assessments. He would take videos of my run form, give feedback and explain why certain movements can cause muscles strain/ discomfort! I had persistent knee pain that would not go away. I've tried massage, acupuncture, rest, stretching but nothing would resolve the issue. After 2 sessions with Jeffery, I started noticing significant improvement with pain relief and run performance. Every session Jeffery would build on the exercise and send videos/training schedule on an app. The app was very helpful, with daily reminders for exercises and help me adhere to my rehab goals. I've been pain free after my 6 session and would likely return for sessions to help with performances /strengthening exercises

I was referred to Dr. Jeffery Su by my partner, who found him via Yelp. I decided to go with Dr. Su…read moreafter researching all of my physical therapist options through my health insurance and found that they all had terrible Yelp reviews. The reason my partner liked Dr. Su was because he actually tries to help you without roping you into seeing him multiple times just to get money out of you, which I found to be very true - he was able to fix me in just 3 sessions. Paying the $165 per session out of pocket (still FSA/HSA eligible though), was well worth the money in my opinion because I was desperate to get better from my pickleball injury and get back to playing ASAP. Before coming to Dr. Su, I was trying to diagnose myself with ChatGPT and was following their prescribed regimen to heal myself. I wish I had gone to Dr. Su earlier because he was able to diagnose my issue in the first session and give me actionable strengthening exercises (he posts all the assigned exercises, with instructional videos, on the PtEverywhere App) to provide me with some immediate relief from the pain. Dr. Su said that I had strained my (sacrotuberous) ligament, which ChatGPT said would take 4-6 weeks to heal. After religiously doing my strengthening exercises for 4 weeks, I found that my pain was low enough to where Dr. Su approved my slow return to Pickleball and Aerial Silks (he's incredibly responsive via text). I found that as I would play, the same right side was continuing to give me trouble. So I went back to see him a 2nd time. At this session he was able to diagnose that my right hip was super tight and was impeding my recovery - he wasn't able to discover that during the first session because I was in so much pain that he was only focused on fixing that first. He used a strap to pull on my right hip to gain some mobility back, but it barely moved. The next couple of days I was incredibly sore but continued to religiously complete my newly assigned strengthening exercises along with foam rolling (if he forgets to posts the exercises on the app, just text him and he'll post them right away). Whatever he did to me, worked because by the 3rd day, my pain was gone! That along with the foam rolling was probably exactly what I needed too because I was able to easily move into my right front split without the tightness I had been experiencing for years! My follow-up appointment was a week and a half later with Dr. Su and I had no pain to report to him. He tested my right hip again and was able to finally get the head of my right femur to actually "bounce"/move normally during this 3rd session. He taught me some lifetime maintenance and strengthening exercises for my overall health and longevity for playing pickleball, which he posted on the app. He also sent me some links to adjustable home weights to help me save space in my apartment. I generally have trouble sticking to self-guided workouts but Dr. Su simplified them to just 25 minutes of exercises, twice a week. Hey - if that's all I need to keep playing pickleball without injury for the rest of my life, I'm sold. Sign me up!
