Was really happy with variety of brands, options and sizes that were available. All items were on display within the same area, so it was easy get one item after another. The prices were decent, comparable prices I saw online from places like Amazon. Multiple associates offered to help. One of them assisted us with getting access to fitting room. When we asked about T-ball shoes, there was a huge confusion among them, the question got relayed between four of associates in three different areas before we found they don't have it. LOL!! You can literally find everything from shoes to swimwear to ski gear, shorts and tees. The list goes on and on. Lots of name brands and high quality items. Water bottles, socks, skateboards and I recall seeing a kayak at some point. Point is if you are looking for anything to either wear under or over or by itself within the active bracket come here. You'll find accessories along the way. The store is clean, organized and the staff has always been very friendly. In fact since I've been coming here there are a few loyal workers who have been with me since the beginning. It's always nice to see a familiar face. And if you suddenly get hungry or thirsty or feel the need to go shopping when leaving the store you'll find an Aldi, liquor store, Petco, McDonalds, Chilis add more in the strip which is perfect.

What frustrated me was the lack of care (and attention) for how long the line was. The cashiers didn't even notice, or try to ring items up a bit faster. Manager moved even slower so no help there. The woman that rang me up had to switch registers due to a glitch on the computer- no problem. The speed at which she was moving, problem, because it caused the line to get backed up and people were getting impatient. She assumed my frustration was due to switching to a new register- it wasn't. It was the lack of attention from both cashiers about how quickly the line was building and adapting, aka doing your best to get people in and out. Now I don't know if this was the best they could do or if they were new but this whole experience could have been better. Instead the two cashiers chitchatted about everything under the sun, slowly typed in peoples' emails, slowly asked about signing up for a card, slowly took the tags off, and slowly packed everything into the bag. This is why Sierra has a ton of online orders- too slow when you come into the store which is unfortunate because the store has good stuff. Dear Sierra, please train cashiers to move quickly when lines are long and more importantly, having the awareness to notice that.

The women's EMT section is awful. Very few options. There was only 1 shirt in my size, L. I traveled almost 2 hours to shop at the Paramus location. I also needed boots. They didn't carry my size in any black boots. I also found mens shirts incorrectly labeled in size. To top it off, after arriving home I realized the employee did not pack the correct clothing in my bag, making this trip completely worthless. The discounts are real here, I have seen prices up to 75% reduced on some of the Nike and Adidas shorts. But the quality of products were not impressive to me. I saw some shorts that had holes in them. So much stuffs are shoved together in apparel sections, it is difficult to check them properly. Overall the store is clean and lots of associates are around to help. Checkout lanes are short and move fast.

If you were one of the first 100 customers today for the grand opening, you received a mystery gift card. Mine was $10. I ended up getting some really nice winter items at a great discount. I DID NOT...I start looking around while everyone seems to be chatting behind counters and in the middle. No one says hi or welcome in or if I need help. I continue looking from one side of the store to the other and spend 10 minutes in there seeing people being helped and people behind the counter chatting it up. I saw some things I liked but nothing was priced. I get back toward the front and think what a shame customer service is crap here. I will never go back again and will make sure I let others know. To the owners of this place...People have choices and customer service goes a long way when trying to attract new ones. Apparently the place just opened as well. How hard is it to say hi, welcome in, do you need help? Guess it doesn't matter for me as I am never coming back or recommending this place when Ramsey Outdoors is just down the road.
