Needed to rent skis for a ski trip up in Vermont. Very nice people, good service, but a long wait. If you are at this specific location on the weekend, you will have to wait at least 30 - 45 to get fitted for your skis. Despite that, the skis are a great cost for new and used.

Ski Barn is awesome! They have everything you could possibly need for the slopes - equipment, clothing, gear, rentals, you name it - impressive selection. The staff was very helpful too. Highly recommend!

How this place stays in business is beyond logic! The sales people are completely lame. Spend your money somewhere else!

From the first meeting with the design team it was clear that EOK had the expertise and the connections throughout the industry to nail this project to perfection for oan outrageous price. EOK designed us a U-shaped kitchen with a sink, ice maker, 2 drawer fridge, alfresco 65K power burner, memphis pro 26 inch pellet smoker, alfresco 42 inch NG grill, and a awesome NG griddle. Will, the owner designed the most perfect layout of drawers for storage making this kitchen super functional. The team of pros built the project off site and delivered and installed in in a flash. The team worked tirelessly in the rain and long hours to complete the project in record time. The griddle EOK offers is very durable, reliable and gets piping hot. We use the griddle for smash burgers, cheese steaks, hibachi night, sausage and peppers and of course breakfast. The NG alfresco grill cranks to do direct cooks like hamburgers hotdogs, lamb chops, and the direct portion of reverse searing steaks. Our Memphis pellet grill is used as an oven with a wood smoked kiss flavor. With one button we set the temp and walk away. so wonderful! Favorite uses are to reverse sear bone in pork chops, ribeyes, smoked wings, ribs, and of course anything you would normally put in an oven as it reaches north of 600 degrees. Lately we have been doing pizzas on a steel at 550 and they have been coming out perfect. Will added a warmong drawer which is wonderful at parties to keep our rolls warm and also to throw the hot dips in or leftovers until we are ready for them at parties. Highly recommend the two drawer fridge which has plenty of room to keep your outdoor supplies like meat etc in the bottom drawer and we use the top drawer for drinks and condiments. Will found us our requested lovely black mist honed granite out of Virgina which really completes the modern look. EOK flawlessly installed a vertical cladding on the exterior which we painted with a tricorn black Sherman Williams color giving it a modern flair. Looks dope! EOK advice on everything including the layout , height, width, installation advice on electrical needs and plumbing was all totally on point and made this kitchen a comfortable place to cook. Just this weekend I cooked for 14 of my sons baseball friends and it was a breeze due to the recommendations EOK made. If you want your dream kitchen meet with EOK for a truly professional and worry free build. EOK for the WIN!

Just stood there staring, didn't ask what I was looking for or if I needed any help! Answered my questions by shrugging his shoulders or with a condescending rhetorical question! He couldn't be bothered, his demeanor was so lackluster and dismissive! Before leaving I asked him if he knew anything about his inventory since the space had only a select few dining and seating sets. He ranted in an angry and nonsensical manner something along the lines of not knowing anything due to buying a new company or getting bought out! Don't go here! The missus and I went over to check out a sale that they had running on patio furniture, as I saw the massive advertisements while driving to work each morning. From outside, the store seems nice. Once getting inside, it was relatively seedy. I can get past that, though. There was an ample selection of patio furniture to look at, but we were immediately approached by a salesman after I said we were just looking, no exaggeration, but this man came back every 5 minutes, pushing the hard sell. Eventually, I kindly told him we needed time to discuss our options. He obliged for all of five minutes, returned, and started with the hard sell again. I had some hard questions for him, expressing concern that their numbers weren't matching mine as far as the sale went. That said, I was told "prices on the signs don't necessarily match the price being charged." I received convoluted answers on this when I pushed it. Personally, the pricing didn't reflect the quality, in our opinion. I was also told I would be "saved the tax," so prices were certainly inflated. We walked away with the impression that prices are marked up, then put on sale and, at the end of the day, it's not much of a sale at all. Was told the sale would end and we'd miss out on "a major deal." Weeks later, there was another sale advertised. Saddest part is these folks called and texted me for weeks after we visited. Certainly off-putting. The failure to make the sale should say enough. When the time comes, we will visit other stores, preferably with lower pressure.

Let me start by saying that Ski barn is probably one of the most busiest ski apparel shops in the…read moretri-state area, and there's never been a time where I visited the store and haven't had to wait a while for service when it comes to boots or skis. However, with that said, it is absolutely worth the wait. Rick Vanek is one of the best at what he does, and I always try to seek him out when I visit, however, last weekend he was occupied, so I had to put my name on the waiting list. An unassuming, younger woman by the name of Abby was readily available, and when I tell you, I probably gave her the most difficult time in assisting me because I had my mindset on what I wanted. Boy was I wrong. After guiding me, even against my will at times, she ended up giving me exactly what I needed, not what I wanted. Every boot that I tried on that I came in for ended up not being sufficient enough for my feet. She never lost patience with me, and ultimately, she put me in a boot that I would've had never chosen. The irony is these boots are the most comfortable boots that I've ever worn and they are also at the skill level of what I was seeking. Rick actually recognized me and came up to say hi as Abby was servicing me, and just smiled silently. He knew that she knew her stuff. I can't praise her enough for taking care of me thoroughly and ultimately giving me exactly what I came for. Don't let her young appearance fool you, she's more skilled at what she does than some other individuals at other shops twice her age. I've been skiing for over 26 years, and this young lady just schooled me. Abby, thank you so much for putting up with a hardheaded veteran like myself. I highly, highly recommend anyone that is looking for the proper ski boots to visit this location and ask for Rick or Abby in a heartbeat. Well done!

The good: I've been coming to Ski Barn with my family for ski rentals for a few years. The fitters…read moreare consistently great - friendly, good with kids, and know how to size boots appropriately. Despite the hectic season, the staff does well. The bad: I brought my own boots/skis in for a tune-up for this season. While I discussed what I needed with one of the men behind the counter, another guy working there came over and informed me that my skis are actually not mine; they are rentals from Ski Barn, which I never returned. I tried to explain a couple of times that I owned my boots and skis and bought them at a Ski Barn sale event a few years ago. I've also brought them to be tuned at Ski Barn each season with no issues. The guy was adamant that I was wrong and trying to service rentals, implying that I never returned a pair and was trying to pass them off as my own. Not only was he completely wrong, his tone was incredibly rude. I explained again; he doubled down. By looking at their computer system, it is easy to see my rental record, and he could quickly see that in all my years of renting, I've never rented adult skis. I only rent for my children. Why would I have an adult rental that I never rented? But he could not back down. Instead, he made insulting remarks to me, which said more about him than me. He still could not concede, so he said he was just not going to pursue it anymore. The best part is - which we found out toward the end of our altercation - it turns out his dad is the owner of Ski Barn and actually was the one who fitted me and sold me my boots and skis a few years back. So no, they are not rentals:) His dad knew how to make a sale and get a family of customers. His son just figured out how to lose us. I will complete our transaction this season, but in the future, we are going to Mt. Everest Ski Shop. ETA: After I pick up our skis, I will take them to the shop on the mountain we're going to for a quick check because I would genuinely not be surprised if this guy messed around with our equipment out of spite.
