You literally wasted my entire weekend and rudely failed to communicate with me about any of it, the least you could do is get the delivery done next day. She tells me no one delivers on Sundays but she would call me Monday to let me know if she would be able to make any advanced delivery or issue a discount for the trouble. She never called. I called Tuesday and asked what's up, she says I had you for Thursday. I said you promised me a call and I never got it. No apology. Not even an excuse just silence. She knew she was in the wrong. She did NOTHING. I finally got my delivery yesterday and everything was as expected, except for the wasted day and the absolute lack of professionalism and concern for the customer. Once they take your money you are SOL for anything from there. This location has THE WORST customer service of any location I've ever been to. If you're reading this considering going here, DONT DO IT. There are many other options and all of them have better management. Zero stars. The furniture and the recliner? Great stuff. Great price. That stuff was great and if only I could've bought it online without having to deal with the shitshow management at this store, I'd be giving five stars for the quality and comfort of the product. When we started searching for furniture for our new house a few years ago Derbyshire popped up on just about every list I checked and had plenty of great reviews. Now that we've made a few of our own purchases I totally understand the praise this small business gets. The shop is small but mighty and packed with so many good pieces. If your style leans traditional - they've got it. If your style leans more contemporary/modern - they've got it. Plus a few things in between that could go in either direction and work with just about any style or decor. Everything is solid wood and totally customizable. You can pick your stain or paint plus your hardware (should you order something with hardware, of course). The couple that owns the shop have always been very kind and very patient, answering all the questions... especially when I was coming in every other week for too many weeks to look at dressers before I finally made up my mind. Lead time was accurate, delivery days/times were accommodating and the guys that arrived to place our items were totally courteous. For our last order/delivery the guys didn't leave until they leveled our dressers perfectly. I didn't even have to ask.. they just did it and that's how a good delivery and install team should operate. Truly, I only have good things to say about Derbyshire. Next piece of wood furniture that we need I will definitely be stopping in Derbyshire first to check things out.

Another time it was suggested I pick up the products from their internal workroom to expedite the process. We went in to the Wayne location about 2 months ago to pick our new bathroom tiles, where we were assigned Rachmire - we went in with a vision, so didn't really get any help in terms of picking our tiles/design/material etc; therefore there we didn't get any sort of consultation. After we left, Rachmire contacted my husband multiple times in a span of a couple of weeks nudging him to submit the order while everything was in stock. Once we aligned with the contractor, we decided to finally do so. Rachmire confirmed that everything was in stock at the time of purchase so we went ahead and submitted the order. To our surprise, right after placing the order, we were told the shower tiles were actually NOT in stock, and would be delayed until end of June. The order was placed in April, and the contractor is standing by to start the work. After my husband called to complain about how it makes absolutely no sense that she flat out lied on the availability of the tiles, Rachmire then calls our contractor without our knowledge, demanding to know why he isn't starting to work on the rest of the bathroom. Completely innapropriate and our contractor was caught by surprise, saying he has never had a sales associate call to demand explanation on his work schedule. We kept pressing for her to reach out to other stores to see if anyone else has the tiles in stock, and on Monday we were told one does - the order should be arriving this week. Of course "this week" means Saturday, which was only confirmed after my husband called again to demand an ETA. We are now delayed by another week and unable to move to our new condo any time soon. Between the lies that the tiles were in stock, the inappropriate calling of our contractor to demand and explanation, and the incompetence to ensure another store can fulfill the order, we made the decision to not go back to The Tile Shop and find another store where we can purchase tiles for the rest of our home.
