Whether one's decorating for the first time or if it's the tenth furnishing venture, it is the most effective way to color living spaces where personal tastes, comfort, and style come together. Located on Willowbrook Blvd. in Wayne, my partner and I paid a visit to At Home. Upon entering this super clean establishment as first-timers, it was a bit overwhelming with rows and rows of home goods to see and surprisingly early Halloween decorations. The layout is more like a Lowe's with very clear and organized sections. We were so happy to be able to go and shop here with ease because it wasn't packed at all. Some of the prices do seem high for what they're offering. However, there were many sales and discounts that make the rest very affordable. The staff were friendly and always helpful. Much can be found At Home--highly recommend for any household needs.

Three purchases and I think it's about time I gave a review for Derbyshire…read more.. When we started searching for furniture for our new house a few years ago Derbyshire popped up on just about every list I checked and had plenty of great reviews. Now that we've made a few of our own purchases I totally understand the praise this small business gets. The shop is small but mighty and packed with so many good pieces. If your style leans traditional - they've got it. If your style leans more contemporary/modern - they've got it. Plus a few things in between that could go in either direction and work with just about any style or decor. Everything is solid wood and totally customizable. You can pick your stain or paint plus your hardware (should you order something with hardware, of course). The couple that owns the shop have always been very kind and very patient, answering all the questions... especially when I was coming in every other week for too many weeks to look at dressers before I finally made up my mind. Lead time was accurate, delivery days/times were accommodating and the guys that arrived to place our items were totally courteous. For our last order/delivery the guys didn't leave until they leveled our dressers perfectly. I didn't even have to ask.. they just did it and that's how a good delivery and install team should operate. Truly, I only have good things to say about Derbyshire. Next piece of wood furniture that we need I will definitely be stopping in Derbyshire first to check things out.

My sister and I were clearly trying out couches and were zeroing in on a specific style yet no one approached us or asked if we needed help. In fact, all the employees went out of their way to ignore us or be preoccupied with other customers. That's fine. We knew what we were looking for and were testing out specific pieces. In this case, it's perfectly fine to ignore us. I am more than happy to ensure if you are working on commission, you will not be getting mine. That said, I gave this place two stars because of the size of this gallery. It is away from the mall and is a real showroom so if you are rather self sufficient and know what you want but need to actually try the item out, this is a good place to test drive. If you need more service, maybe we were just one of the unlucky ones. Just for reference, we came yesterday on Labor Day around 4 pm.

I was impressed with the selections. The store associate Tavian greeted us at the door and was wonderfully helpful! There was an electric reclining couch that we wanted to check out in the middle of the store and not near an outlet, and he ran over with a little power box so that we could plug it in and get the full experience and see how the electric recliners worked. I highly recommend this store if you're looking for good furniture-- the sale prices were impressive! We ended up buying a loveseat next-door at the regular Raymour and Flanagan, but it was nice to come into this outlet location to see what other options were available at a discount. Grateful for the wide selection and great customer service today.

Horrendous experience. DO NOT SHOP HERE!…read more I'm honestly furious and incredibly disappointed with this store. Buying furniture should be an exciting experience, but this place managed to turn it into a stressful and frustrating nightmare. From the moment we walked in, the staff acted like helping customers was a burden. The attitude was cold, dismissive, and at times outright rude. The furniture looks nice in the showroom, but once it's delivered you quickly realize the quality doesn't match the price at all. It feels cheaply made and nowhere near what you'd expect after paying so much. What upset me the most was how the store responded when I tried to address the problems. Instead of taking responsibility or even showing basic concern, they were dismissive and unhelpful. It honestly felt like once they had the money, they simply didn't care anymore. After numerous phone calls and the games they played, I finally spoke to manager Spiro who blamed a leather couch falling apart after 3 months on me. Please look at the shocking pictures below that were sent to them and they didn't care. I regret spending my money here. This experience was frustrating, exhausting, and completely avoidable if the store actually valued its customers. I would strongly warn anyone thinking about buying furniture here to think twice and look somewhere else.

Dazed and confused from a long day of wondering around all the big box stores and being stalked, we finally stopped in White House Living. We walked into an amazing showroom that had unique pieces throughout. We stopped in the doorway not knowing if we should go inside (and be overwhelmed, again) or run! Then Sue greeted us. Having told her about our day, she reassuringly sat us at her desk and talked to us, not at us. She asked about style, color, functionality, and budget. Her repour eased and focused us. With her many years of design experience, Sue is very efficient in her approach to the process. Her advice and guidance were invaluable. She met with us for the afternoon and helped select furniture and accessories for our bedroom. "Let's call Sue" We had such a pleasant experience we decided to meet with Sue for our living room and dining room remodel. We built-up such a nice relationship with Sue that this time went smoothly. We had paint color anxiety and Sue said: "well you have a beautiful grey in your bedroom, how about this color? It's called Griege." Perfect match to our new floor. On to the furniture. Easy-peasy! All the designers at White House Living are pleasant and approachable. You can tell they truly love designing. As they walked by they would stop and discuss our selections and give their advice and speak honestly. "Shopping" at WHL made us feel like part of a design team that collaborated to make our decisions easy. No more big box stores for us. We will always go back to White "Home" Living and Sue!
