This is such an adorable antique store. We came on a Friday afternoon just when the store closed…read moreand was pretty disappointed we didn't have a chance to visit. The owner, Jane, saw us and welcomed us in warmly. The antique store had many homely decors (candles, jewelries, kitchen towels etc) and Jane was exceedingly friendly, telling us all about Madison, the festivities, and when the best time to visit would be. All in all a super positive experience, and will be looking forward to come back in the future.

I purchased a Loloi Dominic runner from Urban Natural on November 26, 2025 for over $1,000. About…read moreeight months later, a bright pink line began appearing down the center of the rug. It originated on the underside and slowly bled through to the face. It's a manufacturing defect-: stencil/guide-line ink migration. I contacted Urban Natural on September 6, 2026, with photos. I explained clearly that the defect emerged over time. Their team said they'd review it with the workshop. Then they went silent for a month. I had to follow up on October 6 just to get an answer. Their response: denied, citing Loloi's 7-day claim window for defects. That window applies to damage visible at delivery. It cannot apply to a progressive defect that takes months to appear. A 7-day window is meaningless for a latent manufacturing flaw. I sent a detailed escalation email that same day, explaining the defect, why the 7-day policy doesn't apply, and requesting replacement or refund. Amanda responded: "Email has been received. I will send this to the appropriate parties." That was it. No substantive response. No follow-up. Nothing. This is not how a retailer should stand behind the products it sells. The rug has a known manufacturing defect. The policy they're hiding behind is being misapplied. And the communication has been dismissive at every turn. If you're considering buying a high-end rug from this store, be aware that if something goes wrong months later, you may be on your own.

Parkview is THE place to go when looking to purchase furniture and major appliances. Ken and Chris…read moreare very knowledgeable and are great at recommending what to buy based on your current needs. They never try to "up-sell" like the big box stores do. They are more concerned with finding the right piece for their customers and that is why they get so much repeat business. Prices are in line with other retailers and on-line shopping. I urge everyone to stop in at Parkview before making your purchase elsewhere. I think you will be very happy with the service, selection, pricing and you will be supporting a local small business who has been servicing the community for many years.

Three purchases and I think it's about time I gave a review for Derbyshire…read more.. When we started searching for furniture for our new house a few years ago Derbyshire popped up on just about every list I checked and had plenty of great reviews. Now that we've made a few of our own purchases I totally understand the praise this small business gets. The shop is small but mighty and packed with so many good pieces. If your style leans traditional - they've got it. If your style leans more contemporary/modern - they've got it. Plus a few things in between that could go in either direction and work with just about any style or decor. Everything is solid wood and totally customizable. You can pick your stain or paint plus your hardware (should you order something with hardware, of course). The couple that owns the shop have always been very kind and very patient, answering all the questions... especially when I was coming in every other week for too many weeks to look at dressers before I finally made up my mind. Lead time was accurate, delivery days/times were accommodating and the guys that arrived to place our items were totally courteous. For our last order/delivery the guys didn't leave until they leveled our dressers perfectly. I didn't even have to ask.. they just did it and that's how a good delivery and install team should operate. Truly, I only have good things to say about Derbyshire. Next piece of wood furniture that we need I will definitely be stopping in Derbyshire first to check things out.

Yet walked into this old fashioned shop and didn't have to do any of that (I do not do big box stores). No rolled eyes or questioning looks. No awkward pleading needed.
