When we arrived the sales gentleman was very helpful. We were sent to the second floor and was to see the title person, we had to wait for someone to show up outside the office area, while 2 people in the big glass window was to busy talking to one another, and another gentleman was in a big glass window office area as well and none of them even notice us sitting in the waiting area. we where waiting for at least 5-10 minutes before we got any help. After we received helped it took ruffly 3-5 minutes. They should have signs or buttons or bell toget help, because you will just sit there until someone walks by. read more

I originally took my car here and they were going to charge me $5,000+ without running any additional test for a check engine light error code and to get started I would have to put $2500 down. Then the video provided didn't show anything about why. It was just a video of them checking my tire pressures. 5 days later I go to get a second opinion and was informed they ran tests 5 times to try and recreate the error code but couldn't, meaning the my car might have had one bad reading but then every reading after that was fine. On top of that they checked off they did a multi point inspection and there wasn't anything of concern. During this second opinion, again 5 days later, I was told my battery was at 10%. I now no longer trust this place to do even a half way decent job or to be honest with me. read more

I have bought about 3 cars from this dealership throughout the years. Customer service has been real bad as years have passed. Everyone at the service department has an attitude and doesn't want to work. You ask them questions and it seems like you're bothering them at their home. They eat in front of you while talking to you about your car. I don't know if they don't get any breaks for lunch but it's just unprofessional. Reggie has been the only service guy I like to come to. He makes sure you are taken care of and he actually likes his job. Only reason why I keep coming to this location and that is close to my house. But if it wasn't for that I would definitely drive elsewhere to avoid these people. read more

AWFUL!!!! Find a good Private Mechanic! The Service Manager said to me, why would I offer to pay for your service. I never asked him to pay for my service, I asked only for a decent price for a loyal customer. Ano for starters, my Tiguan is the vehicle that is known to have multiple coolant issues. And my warranty just expired, I am just over my mileage, I have owned 3 Volkswagens. Maybe you could at least attempt, as a manager of the service department to have a general knowledge of customer service. I would NEVER buy another car from WEST HOUSTON VOlKSWAGEN! NEVER! And I would certainly never use the service department at West Houston. You can not have a conversation with the service department ,even with the manager. Only we see Lots and Lots of cars with this issue, and your warranty is up. You will need to pay full price, that is all I can do. This is from the service manager. He went above and beyond to ensure the exact car my dad wanted was coming in. Upon arrival, he called my dad to discuss everything - pricing, financing, and features, and he showed my dad pictures of every detail the moment it came in. Upon arrival to get the car, my parents were blown away at the professionalism and friendliness the staff displayed. I've been using WHVW for about 11 years to service my Jetta TDI which I bought there. I recently needed to have my fan assembly replaced. Because it was the July 4 holiday I had time to research the issue. Anyway, it was an easy fix & this 60 y.o. woman that does not work on cars was able to do it w/ my brother's supervision. After installation it wouldn't work. Cut to the chase. I took it in after speaking w/ Reggie, my service specialist extraordinaire. They were busy, but he fit me in. It was simply a fuse & they replaced it for FREE!!! Reggie saved me thousands of dollars years ago during the emissions recall. I took my car to Momentum VW because they were closer to my work & offered rides. They tried to charge me about 4K to fix an issue before they tackled the emissions repair. Reggie had explained everything to me beforehand, so I knew they were trying to take advantage of me. I now always drive to WHVW even though MVW is closer. Once I had a long wait for a repair & Reggie gave me a card for a FREE oil change. I plan to drive my car until she hits 300K. I will continue to take her to WHVW & I hope that Reggie remains there! read more

DO NOT BUY USED FROM THEM! We purchased a used Atlas in November. First, they do not offer electronic signatures. So, when they make an error in the paper work they demand you come back in or they will send a tow truck to take the vehicle back. This location is almost 2 hours from us so this is not an easy task to just pop over and sign. Our bank released payment quickly and the sales agent called multiple times a day and sent texts saying they didn't receive the funds. We have purchased almost 10 vehicles using the same drafting instructions with the same bank and never had an issue. They would not release the second set of keys the night the vehicle was purchased. They said they had to wait for the draft to come through. Again, never had this happen! It's almost March and they have made at least 5 verbal and email commitments to send the keys and have yet to do so. We have gone all the way up to the GM. No one here is responsive or offers to make this right. In January the sales against sent me a text saying they were coming to get our car with a tow truck if we didn't get it inspected that day. 3 months later they are coming to get our car that our bank fully funded in November. We didn't know the vehicle hadn't been inspected since that is their job. But to threaten a tow truck a second time for two incidents. I was assured we would be reimbursed and keys would be sent same day upon providing a receipt of state inspection. I followed up the following day to ensure the receipt was received and received a confirmation it was. Still no keys or check for reimbursement of the inspection as promised. Now they are calling that the plates are in. We ask again and take it to the GM for the plates, the check and the keys to be sent overnight. It's been a week and the receptionist just confirmed the plates are still on her desk b/c they are waiting in the check and they keys. Worst customer service ever!!!!!! Save yourself! read more
