The most surreal part of this sandwich was the jam. The jam for sure came out of a can because I can see the can ridges in the my sandwich- as in they didn't even try to smear the jam on properly. I see so many business with whole made jam around and to use non local products made and grown directly around us is a choice. 2 sandwiches took 40 minutes to make. They did tell us there was a wait but gosh, 40 minutes is actually so crazy. I mean no disrespect but 40 minutes for a grab and go sandwich is genuinely considered an unhinged business practice.

The Sourdough Melt absolutely knocked it out of the park! Everything we tried was fantastic, starting with the sourdough bread, perfectly toasted, wonderfully crisp on the outside, and soft and flavourful on the inside. You can genuinely taste the quality in the bread, and it makes such a difference. The Tuna Melt was delicious, rich, savoury and cheesy without being overly heavy. The Garlic Turkey Pesto was another standout, with loads of flavour from the garlic and pesto paired beautifully with the turkey and that brilliant sourdough. We also tried the chicken poblano soup, which was hearty, comforting and packed with flavour, along with the mac and cheese, which was wonderfully creamy and indulgent. And the lemonade was the perfect refreshing accompaniment. The ambience was lovely and relaxed, making it a really enjoyable spot for a casual meal. They even had a kids' TV programme playing, which was an absolute winner for my five-year-old daughter, she was positively chuffed and happily entertained while we enjoyed our meal. It made the whole experience feel welcoming and family-friendly without taking away from the food. Honestly, it's the sort of place where you finish your meal already thinking about what you're going to order next. Great bread, fantastic sandwiches, generous portions and proper comfort food done right. Five stars without hesitation. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for having us! read more

We had such a wonderful experience at The Sourdough Melt! From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed by the owners. Their hospitality was amazing, and they were incredibly kind and friendly. The restaurant itself was clean, had a really nice ambiance, and just felt like a welcoming place to enjoy a meal. The sourdough bread was delicious and soft! The sandwiches had a great filling to bread ratio. Here's what we tried: 6" Garlic Pesto Turkey Sandwich Mac & Cheese Chicken Poblano Soup 6" Tuna Melt Lemonades Cheese Sandwich (for my daughter) Chips Everything made for such a nice family dining experience. We genuinely enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back again! Have ordered a veggie sandwich on sourdough, the tomato bisque soup, and the gluten-free brownie. Bread is fabulous! Crispy outside, flavorful and rich and chewy on the inside. The sandwich was fresh with crunchy veggies. The gluten-free brownie was a real surprise. It has a dark fudge taste. Perfect gooey texture. The tomato soup was fabulous, thick, tasty and kept me craving it until I could order it again. Oh yeah, I'll be back. read more

Absolutely delicious! I had the Toasted Italian sandwich, and it was amazing! Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were fantastic, and it was toasted to perfection.
