Well, I'm traveling again so I am reviewing some local places, in Rogers Arkansas. The restaurant a very plain little place on the outside, not a lot to look at. When you get inside, it's about the same. But don't let that appearance fool you because the food was fantastic. Country favorites are what l recommend. The waitress was friendly , she came to our table immediately and was willing to explain all the items that we were looking at. She had a wholesome sunny smile and was very friendly. This is a true country breakfast place so go full country that's my suggestion. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely fantastic, eggs prepared, exactly as ordered and I can't say enough about the excellent creamy buttery grits And the prices were very fair for the amount of food received and it's quality. If I weren't just moving through, I would make this a regular place. Please come out and try it help the local's build their business.

Chicken Fried Steak

Overall our group enjoyed our experience at Wesner's Grill. It has a fun vibe and was busy for a Friday morning, but not too busy where we couldn't get seated right away. It's a local favorite of our friends who live in the area. The chicken fried steak was delicious and definitely an item we would recommend ordering. I did enjoy the downtowner, but I'm not sure it would get it again. I think I would have enjoyed a little more biscuit with it. The cinnamon toast was a last minute item we added on and enjoyed!

Chicken fried steak, scrambled eggs, and potato casserole. To die for!

Went here for breakfast this AM. If you are in a hurry, this is definitely not the place for you during the weekend breakfast rush, but the food is well worth the wait....... Special today was the chicken fried steak and eggs......it comes with your choice of potatoes (I had the casserole), and toast or biscuits and gravy (I chose the latter). Hands down, this is the textbook example of what a chicken fried steak should taste like. Our server, Ava, suggested to try some Cholula sauce on the potatoes, which gave it a little extra punch and cut away from the richness of the cheese and cream. My wife had the pancakes and ordered a side of bacon.....I am not sure what was in the pancakes, but there was a hint of vanilla.....they were totally awesome and more than she was able to finish. Bacon was nice and crisp, and on point. This is one of those restaurants you need to come hungry, and you will be able to skip your lunch if you clean your plate. Cannot wait to try it again!

Just had our first meal (breakfast) at Wesner's Grill. Overall, food was pretty good; prices were "normal;" and service was exceptional except for bringing out butter when my pancake was served. I have to say the coffee wasn't very good; it was weak and fairly tasteless. The pancake that came with my meal was barely warm and I had to wait a long time for butter that was finally served ice cold so I couldn't spread it. Finally, the coup de gras: the facility in the LADIES ROOM was VERY, VERY POOR! For a rather large and VERY BUSY restaurant, the toilet was an old fashioned, residential piece that wouldn't flush down. I should have taken the hint when I spied a plunger sitting next to it, indicating that this is an ONGOING problem! Why wouldn't the owner recognize that this is a MAJOR turnoff to their customers??!! Just FIX IT ALREADY...once and for all!!!

What a great country diner! This was my first visit and we were greeted with a big smile as soon as we walked in the door and told to pick any table we wanted. As soon as we were seated our server came over with a huge smile on her face and just made us feel right at home. She took our order and had our drinks out to us in seconds. Our drinks never got less than half full and the the coffee was good, hot and fresh. Our food arrived in about 8-10 minutes and was also good hot and freshly made. The portion size was good and our server made sure we were happy with everything before she left us. If you are wanting a great diner meal I would highly recommend Wesner's Grill.

4/22/26 This family…read moreowned business was highly recommended by a local friend and I had promised to check this place out the next time I was in town. Well Yelpers, I've found my new fave Northwest Arkansas restaurant! TBH, I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived. It looked like a modernized restaurant with an open kitchen. I opened the door to the restaurant and waited to check in and a handsome young boy asked if I had reservations and I advised I didn't and he asked if I wanted to sit indoor or outdoor. He grabbed a menu and helped me to my table. I was quickly greeted by a staff member and given a glass of water and was told that there isn't an assigned server but that multiple staff members will work together to attend my table. After eating American and Italian food all week on my business travels, I was craving some authentic simple home cooked food and this location brought me virtually home for dinner. For those of you that know me or have been following my review journey, have gotten to know my household ethnicities. When I saw the House 1830 Menu, it was a delightful mix of Vietnamese and Laotian food! The color purple was present from accent walls by the kitchen to my cloth napkin on the plate sets, to the "seasonal" menu font color all tie together with staff uniforms including the outdoor purple umbrella above the outdoor seating space. They even have custom pillows on the bench seating with the House 1830 logos. Susana, one of the owners came to greet me and asked if I've been here before or if it's my first time. She shared that her husband Binh was the head chef today and many patrons typically think it's a fusion restaurant but it's really a family inspired menu that keeps the food as authentic as possible. Binh is Vietnamese and their sister in law Bé is Laotian. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Bé as she was celebrating her birthday elsewhere as she should. Susana shared that her contribution is the inspired cocktail menu...which had so many yummy options that you don't see anywhere else. They had a Lychee Martini on the menu but I see it often everywhere so I ordered the Longan Martini to try and it was delish! I started with my roots and ordered a Vietnamese House Sampler described as a sampling of the crowd favorite starters. Cha Gio | Mini Banh Xeo | Bo Xien Tam for $21. The eggrolls were crispy and had the right amount of filling well seasoned, the Bite-size Banh Xeo shrimp crepes was light and the flash fried marinated beef skewers were seasoned to perfection with a family marinade. Lettuce, cilantro, mint along with the various nuoc cham (dipping sauces) were great! I didn't want to fill up as I wanted one of my favorite Lao dishes Nam Khao - Crispy red curry seasoned rice combined with small chunks of cured pork, and spices. It comes with lettuce, mint, cilantro where you can eat it like a lettuce wrap or eat it as is like fried rice for $18. This light entree for me hit the spot. The staff was exceptional, occasionally stopping g by to check if my water was ok or if I needed anything. I went to check out the bathroom to wash my hands and thought the wall murals were trendy and happy to see the restrooms were clean. I stopped at the open kitchen and complimented the chef and his staff on my delicious meal. They were very cheery and thankful for the compliment. Went back to my table and contemplated another cocktail or dessert but I was really beyond stuffed and figured I'll be back and to save options for my next visit. Chef Binh stopped by my table and we started talking about a little of everything. The restaurant concept, the seasonally inspired menu and to keep things fun for regular diners, shhhh....you didn't hear it from me...but there's even a secret menu that changes often! You'll have to ask or sign up to get the details! You don't get many seasonal menu options from Asian restaurants so I love that they have a seasonal menu and a secret one that only the special members know about! Come check out House 1830! You will not be disappointed yes, I'll be back to visit Binh, Susana and team! Thanks for the hospitality! Thank you, Zerric for the best recommendation! Xoxo

Traveling through Arkansas, I wasn't expecting this…read more From the outside, it has a slightly upscale, homey vibe with colorful picnic tables, vines creeping through the space, and a banner that reads "Best Pizza in Northwest Arkansas" two years running. It feels casual but intentional, like people really care about what they're doing here. We ordered the spinach dip, the Peggy Bundy with chicken, and the Italian Stallion, and finished with the mystery milkshake, a $10 gamble where they pick three random flavors and you try to guess them. Get it right and it's free plus a $20 gift card. The spinach dip comes out hot and bubbling, covered in grated cheese with a thick, creamy texture underneath. The crostini are golden, crisp, and heavily seasoned. Every bite has flavor. For context, my favorite style is New York. Thin, foldable, crisp on the bottom, soft in the middle. This pizza leans a different direction, and it works. The crust reminded me of the bottom of an English muffin. Crispy, slightly fluffy, a little yeasty, with semolina giving it structure. The cheese had a great pull, toppings stayed in place, and every bite held together. And then it hit me. Back to being a kid. That once a month night. Movie rental, pizza, something sweet. No arguing, no chaos. Just a rare kind of peace. Pizza box on your lap in the car, heat coming through the cardboard, sneaking a peek on the way home. The kind of night you don't realize matters until it's gone. That's what this pizza felt like. Only note, I wanted a little more sauce to bring it fully home. The milkshake was fun and surprisingly challenging. We gave it a real shot and still missed. Apple, peach, and corn. Service was friendly, prompt, and down to earth while still professional. This place isn't trying to reinvent pizza. It reminds you why you loved it in the first place.
