    Tasting

It continues to be an incredible place. Staff and food are beyond incredible. Have been here several times and never disappoints. Welcoming and casual yet classy atmosphere makes this place feel warm and welcoming. Food rivals any 5 star restaurant in a big city. Definitely worth the hype.

My husband and I were lucky enough to score a reservation at Heirloom to celebrate our anniversary. What an amazing experience that rivaled our tasting menu experience at a Michelin Star restaurant in Italy. Very friendly staff and chef. Would highly recommend, definitely a treat!

The Preacher's Son was an absolutely beautiful dining experience from start to finish. The space…read moreitself is stunning, with tall windows featuring delicate tree-pattern designs that create a warm, airy, and almost ethereal atmosphere. It feels both modern and grounded in nature, which makes the whole meal feel even more special. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being intrusive, which made the service feel effortless and comfortable throughout the evening. For drinks, I tried the smoky Sandha (a mezcal-based cocktail with strawberry and lemon), and it was perfectly balanced, smoky but not overpowering, and refreshingly not too sweet, which I really appreciated. For the main course, I ordered the blackened salmon, and it was outstanding. The seasoning and flavors were rich, well-balanced, and cooked to perfection. It was easily the highlight of the meal. For dessert, I went with the cherry sorbet based on my waiter's recommendation. While it was beautifully presented and flavorful, it leaned a bit sweeter than my personal preference. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The combination of excellent service, friendly staff, a gorgeous setting, and truly well-executed dishes makes it a place I will definitely return to.

I loved the interior and how it was decorated. The grilled cheese was the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Definitely wouldn't be enough if there were more than 2 people at the table though. The pork porterhouse was good, the butter on top really gave the meat its flavor. The pasta was amazing. Great portion sizes for both. Overall: amazing classy dinner spot in NWA, would definitely come back!

When I asked a simple question about what made the fries accompanying the ribeye "spicy," our server responded with a series of questions rather than a straightforward answer, including asking if I had issues with nightshades and what level of heat I tolerate on the Scoville scale. The interaction felt unnecessarily complicated and somewhat condescending. After checking with the kitchen, she said the fries could be made without the spice, so I ordered the dish. However, she then informed me that the ribeye itself had a chili rub, requiring another trip to the kitchen. While they ultimately said it could be prepared without the rub, I was told it would significantly delay the order. When the steak finally arrived, I was disappointed with the amount of fat on it, much more than the typical marbled ribeye. Overall, while the ambiance was enjoyable, the service created friction in what should have been a simple ordering process. A more direct and customer-friendly approach would have made a big difference. The F&B manager reached out to me through my Open Table information which I respected however, we don't plan on returning.

They said they've been partnering with a local supplier for years. And it really shows in the quality. It's in a museum. So finding it was a little difficult at first, not knowing what to look for. But once inside, it's a pretty awesome scene. Will be back for sure.
