Last night we enjoyed Oak Steakhouse for our 20th anniversary and was perfect. Our server was Edward, he was polite, interesting and knew about each item on the menu. His timing was perfect, never once asking if everything was ok when our mouths were full. He helped my chose item that I could eat. The food was EXCELLENT, service great and we didn't feel rushed. We will be dining at Oak Steakhouse again. read more

This might be the hardest review I'll ever write. Let me start by saying, the manager was wonderful and went out of his way to save our evening. Also, this is a beautifully designed restaurant with a beautiful bar and lots of outdoor rooftop dining. Our window front table view was great. Our server, Brandy puts a solid "E for effort" into her job. She energetically described all of the menu options and seemed to really like her job. I ordered the steak frites. The fries were fine, and the seasoning improved their lukewarm temperature. The steak however, medium rare, was overcooked and was cool. Inedible. The manager kindly offered to redo it, but I didn't want to make my husband wait on his meal or to eat alone after my corrected meal came back. My husband ordered a steak, a side of mushrooms and a side of mashed potatoes. The steak was "fine", the mushrooms okay, and the potatoes COLD. (The manager did bring him new mashed potatoes). The manager kindly said he was going to comp our entire meal after taking the cold items back and agreeing they were indeed cold when he felt them in the kitchen. To be clear, we weren't there for a free meal. We were there for an upscale dining experience, with food that justifies the prices. We had seen on yelp, the chocolate cake, my husband's favorite. He wanted that to go so we figured what we assumed would be a descent tip, plus $20 for the $18 cake to go (so $70 cash). The server, Brandy said, after accepting the cash, I can't comp you the cake (she'd already offered me comped desert while my husband ate which I refused). I said, I get that, I just handed you $50 for tip plus $20 for the cake $18 cake. Then, the manager stopped back by to check on us and she brought the cake (with a box of rolls? No thanks!). I'm stunned by how the conversation with the 4 of us transpired. I feel as if the kind manager was misled by the server regarding what had taken place with us earlier. The conversation ended with her putting the $50 bill on our table and leaving, which obviously was not at all what we intended. I honestly, along with the manager, wanted the situation to end as kindly as possible. All of this to say, I saw 2 other tables send their food back. This issue is in no way the servers fault, and definitely not the fault of the front of the house manager. This is a kitchen issue that should definitely be addressed. read more

Every entree besides the steak, which we were led to believe would be incredible, was great. The steak was so charred and overcooked it had very little flavor beyond char. Really disappointing. We had a great server who was even aware while carving it was overcooked. Beautiful location and view from on the hotel, relaxed but upscale interior. For a ~$180 or so steak, that kind of result is pretty unacceptable. read more

This is our second appearance in the last five months. We live about an hour from here and we frequent this area - but normally have eaten at Ruth's Chris. Our favorite waiter moved to this restaurant and we tried this a few months ago for the first time. Tonight - we repeated on the occasion of our anniversary. We are also celebrating Father's Day this weekend. We brought our kids with us - who had a little spill - but the staff helped us clean it up quickly and without a scene - and all was well without evidence soon after the incident! We were quite appreciative! The food was outstanding - the steaks were perfect temp (both = med well). We had a lobster tail that was as quite nice as well. We chose asparagus, shells & cheese and creamed spinach for the table and our kids shared a well done cheeseburger with fries, We enjoyed crème brûlée with a piece of Chocolate Cake/Salted Caramel Ice Cream. The service was phenomenal - with friendly and fast, attentive service from the whole team. Before I forget - the Parker House rolls with salted butter was outstanding - we've enjoyed that both times! The waiter provided the asparagus and the Oysters on the Half Shell gratis, in honor of our anniversary. We were very grateful and didn't expect that! The relaxed, upscale atmosphere will surely be an enjoyment to you and your family/guests like it has ours. I don't think we will replace Ruth's Chris - I think we will just add this as another favored special place to eat in Northwest Arkansas (NWA). We will be back! Until the next time! read more

First- AMAZING. The service was great. The food? Oh my god incredible. We had rolls, Cesar salad (split it, they are large portions), NY strip, Filet, shells and cheese, and French fries. As you can see, the portions are generous. The service was really top tier. The manager came over and congratulated us on our Celebration and treated us to their seasonal dessert! I can't say enough great things about Oak Steakhouse. One small note- I made a reservation for my boyfriend and I via OpenTable a day in advance. The day of, I got a call from a Gravette AR number that I missed, the voicemail said "call back to confirm your reservation" - I called the number, it went to the hotel, they routed me to Oak steakhouse, but it was just an automated voicemail? Maybe a small kink they can work out easily :) read more

Beautiful restaurant with a nice view. We were celebrating our anniversary and they gifted us glasses of champagne, which was such a thoughtful touch. We started with the shrimp toast and it was good, but there were so many other appetizers that sounded amazing that I'd probably try something different next time. Both of our steaks were unfortunately undercooked. I ordered mine medium and it came out medium rare, and my fiancé ordered medium rare but his was very rare. I mentioned mine to our waiter and they were great about taking it back to cook it more, but at this price point for a steakhouse, I really don't want to have to send a steak back. My fiancé ended up not finishing his so we could cook it more at home. The creamed spinach wasn't my favorite, it was a bit runnier and not as rich as I personally prefer. The potatoes were delicious. We ordered one dessert and then were surprised with another for our anniversary, and both were amazing. The sundae was definitely the standout. Overall, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. Just wish the steaks had been cooked correctly the first time. read more

Pleasant night of great food with great waiter making some spot on recommendations. The drinks where over priced and I saw late night prior to closing them sweeping the floor next to open plates think food from the floor or dirt getting on clean plates. We had a fabulous dinner! Our server Brandi was absolutely amazing, she was very attentive and personable. The food was delicious, we had steaks and the Cajun Shrimp app. So good! But what made the night was our server, absolutely a great experience! read more

The service was excellent, no complaints there. I had the duck and it was practically inedible. It was very tough and not cooked properly. The spouse had the lamb and it was cooked perfectly. For sides, I would pass on the Okra. Mushrooms and Brussels Sprouts were OK. We also had the raw Oysters from Massachusetts. They were vey small and for the price, I would not recommend. Overall, the prices were extravagant and the food was not up to par. A+ for service and ambience. We may try again however there are many more restaurants to try in the area so it may be awhile. read more

WOW!!! That is all I can say. Top steakhouse here! Oak Steakhouse is on the top floor of a hotel. There is valet or you can drive around and look for a spot. We had a reservation and since it was a beautiful night we ate outside. Beautiful view. The service was slow but we were in no hurry. Once we received are drinks the rest of the service was great. Stared off with the hot bread and crab cakes. Definitely recommend. Caesar salad was great. Then the steak - Fabulous! Wow melted in my mouth great flavor without getting any of the other toppings. We do not live in Arkansas but if we ever come through this way again, we are eating here again. read more

Absolutely beautiful rooftop restaurant on top of hotel Avail. Upon arrival the hostess and the waitress were so kind. I asked for an outdoor sitting as the weather was beautiful and they accommodated me with that. I ordered a spicy high society drink which was pretty much a pineapple spicy margarita, steak frites, and dinner rolls with butter. They were all absolutely amazing. The steak was cooked perfect temperature and melted in your mouth. I also tried the Brussels sprouts which were truly amazing. Overall the experience was great as well as vibe of the restaurant and I definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

This place is fantastic! I was immediately impressed with their fine dining atmosphere and friendly staff. The weather wasn't the best the evening of our visit so we didn't get to fully take advantage of the beautiful view but I have had a glimpse of it from others' experiences and it looks great. The staff seemed genuinely excited to help us celebrate our occasion and we experienced great service throughout. You MUST start with the Parker House Rolls, though there are several other appetizing starters on the menu as well. The rolls were as good as it gets. For my entree, I had the Oak Burger. As far as burgers go, I was impressed that it tasted pretty light, which I can attribute to the quality of the bun and patty. It was definitely high quality. My only critique is that the burger could use a sauce or an adjustment to the cook to make it a little juicier. I still enjoyed it, however. My wife had the half chicken and we both agreed that it was amazing. This is definitely a great place to go if you're looking for a fine dining experience. Apologies as I do not recall our server's name but we definitely appreciate her taking good care of us! read more

Guests in the hotel. They should tell you upfront either at check-in or when you walk into the restaurant, they are separate. Meaning, you can't charge to the room. Went there for a couple of drinks and appetizers. Sat at the bar right before the dinner hour. We're two of five people sitting at the bar. Mind you, we're dressed for the place. We had to raise our hand EVERY time we needed something. Like water. Menu. Silverware. read more

We had such a great night at the new Oak Steakhouse at the top of the Hilton in Rogers. From the moment we sat down, everything was on point from the great service to the delicious food. We started with the Alaskan crab legs. They were sweet, meaty, and fresh. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well--definitely one of the better steaks we've had around here. We also loved the Caesar salad--it was super fresh and crisp. The whipped potatoes were chunky and buttery. The brussels sprouts were roasted perfectly and paired well with the whipped potatoes and steak. For dessert, we split the key lime cheesecake with raspberry sauce, and it was AMAZING--it was tangy, sweet, and super refreshing. Big thanks to our server, Aaron K. He was super friendly, attentive, easy to converse with, and just made the whole experience better. Shoutout to Aaron W. too for helping keep everything running smoothly. The restaurant itself is beautiful, very modern, and comfortable. The bar area is a beautiful spot, and a great spot for drinks even if you don't stay for dinner. The food, the people, and the space were all amazing. This will definitely be a new go-to spot for us. read more

Amazing meal! We got the filet Oscar scallop and it was 2 scallops with Oscar sauce on top and so delicious!!! The sides we ordered were very good also. Brussels and mac and cheese. Then for dessert we ordered the pumpkin creme brûlée and chocolate cake with caramel ice cream. The pumpkin creme brûlée was so festive and oh so good! The chocolate cake was good also but very rich. It came with a scoop of ice cream which complemented the cake very well. It was a very light Carmel flavor. The slice is really big and easily sharable! I wish I could give 4.5 stars. Service at the bar was a 6 from Mark and Emily. I had the cosmo also a 6. The tuna tartare was maybe a 2 the rice crackers were sweet and store bought. Not key limey enough but crust was excellent. read more

Service /atmosphere - 5 stars Great experience/ environment. I've never been offered table side water accompaniments. Platter of pre-sliced cucumbers, limes, or lemons to choose from. I appreciated the gesture! Mixed lettuce salad - 3 stars Really good flavor but had too much dressing. Some of the lettuce we had was slimy and questionable. Coq au vin: 5 stars Really good flavor. Loved the rich sauce. Chicken was well done. Great presentation. Halibut: 5 stars Well cooked with brown butter sauce. Well plated. Carrots: 1 stars Cold, mushy texture and too bitter (from the charring maybe?). It seems like they are batched and then left out. Flavor combinations were off. Overall average: 3.9 stars read more

We had a 7:45 reservation. I checked in at 6:45 and told the hostess we were early to visit the bar. At 7:43 I received a call from the hostess that our table was ready, and I literally looked to my right and 20ft away she saw who she called. Oak, take note of your customers, were there spending money, arriving early to buy drinks. Drop the technology, focus on personal service, and don't treat humans as numbers. We ordered still water, and two glasses of a red blend wine. We decided to order the shrimp cocktail ($19) for appetizer and it was worth the price. Chilled, not cold but I *think* there were 7 fairly decent sized shrimps. No complaints. We then ordered: 2 small steakhouse chopped salads ($8) and asked for the Gruyère Popovers ($7) to be brought at the same time. The salads were very good....not exceptional but certainly acceptable. We were served standard rolls, despite ordering the Gruyère Popovers. The server checked on our table, didn't notice the error so I had to remind her. Of course she apologized and offered to bring us the popovers... but that's simply too awkward to wait for the kitchen to prepare them while our salads were already served. For entrees we each ordered the 16oz Prime Ribeye ($83) and shared the Shells and Cheese ($13). It's a steakhouse, expect only your entree and everything else is a la carte. The Shells and Cheese were delicious, the cheese sauce wasn't overly cheese, nicely balanced. They did top the dish with additional cheese which hardened upon cooling so when I plated some shells I also plated a somewhat 3"x3" cheese, what I can only call is, shingle. Unappealing, nonsensical to try to cut, and deserving to be tossed to the side. Again, besides that the Shells and Cheese were wonderful. The ribeye was reminiscent of steak half its price. Probably 16oz, I won't argue but I did question its precook weight. I should say we did inquire as to their dry aged steaks but were told they were 86'd. The steak cooked to the correct doneness but lacked any crusting, and really was grey, some browning but more monotone in color. Again, no crusting. The ribeye fell very short of a good steakhouse standard and honestly it would be forgivable, to some degree, if it wasn't $83. We regularly spend $200-$500 on a night out, Oak was no exception. Other non-steak items on their menu look appealing, and I may consider Oak for those items. But in the future we'll refer to it as Oak Restaurant, not Oak Steakhouse. $83 for a ribeye I'd be happy to pay...and have and more; but please leave the insults for patrons who you treat as numbers, lack of attention to details, and the attempts to serve stakes worthy of half the price. It doesn't fly here. A good note is that our server was genuinely concerned to provide good service, and we appreciated that. The bar is nicely stocked and service was acceptable. - Bar spend: 4 drinks, $100 incl. tip - Dinner spend: $324.12 incl $80 (if my memory serves me correctly) tip. - Car Valet: $20 tip in, I think the fee was $14, $20 tip out. They kept my Mercedes out in front. read more

Our party of 6 Arrived for a Bday celebration dinner at 5:45 pm. April, 14, 2026. Waitress was lackluster and long winded even apologized for her too detailed long explanation of starters and entrees. No smile and certainly set the tone for the evening. We ordered crab cakes and rolls for starters. Rolls were delicious! Crab cakes overpoweringly fishy tasting. We did not complain but only ate 2.5 of the 4 cakes for 6 ppl. Ordered 5 steaks and a burger. The $21 burger couldn't even be picked up it was so soggy and messy. Had to use a fork to eat it. Out of 5 steaks we ordered, 3 were grossly overcooked and were sent back. 1 was an 8oz steak $63 and 2 12oz steaks $83 each all for just the meat. Now this is supposedly a "steakhouse" known for steaks and they messed up 3 out of 5. Wow! By the time the recooked steaks arrived to the table the rest of us were finished eating. So Awkward and ruined the dinner timing. The sides were nothing great! We barely ate them. Waitress gave us a bday "gift" of creamed spinach to share. On the bill charged us for it. We didn't even order it but she charge us for the "gift". A large spider came down on a web between two of our guests mid meal. No apologies or even accountability, they pretended it didn't happen. We killed it midair and went about dinner like we were in a log cabin in the woods and it was expected. While waiting for the 3 $230 dollars worth of (CAB) certified angus beef recooked steaks, two of us ladies visited to the ladies room. The bathroom door was blocked with a cleaning cart and a male was in the ladies restroom cleaning. It was 7:30pm high traffic dinner time and the bathroom was closed. What? A worker suggested we take the elevator down to the hotel first floor because it was going to take awhile as the cleaner just got started. 7:30pm is not the time to clean. No offerings of discount, no offerings of dessert special, nothing! So disappointed in the overall experience! We won't be back! Overpriced! Memorable Bad experience that this Bday girl won't forget. read more

My wife and I decided on an early Valentine's Day dinner and we chose Oak Steakhouse. We were not disappointed. She ordered a lemon drop martini and I asked for oyster Rockefellers (conveniently priced per oyster). The oysters were fantastic with all ingredients perfectly blended and cooked to perfection. Our super waiter Josh also brought the best dang bread I have ever tasted. He then brought out a 16 ounce ribeye which was great. The side dish was whipped potatoes and they let us have a generous sampling of sweet tai chili Brussel sprouts. I bet kids would eat their vegetables if they had these to eat. By this point, we are stuffed but we just had to try the apple crust dessert. It was also fantastic. Every dish was excellent. The service was excellent. I'm giving two stars because of the food. The atmosphere sitting on the balcony was very nice and nice so enjoy that. And the service was OK but could be better. We had to wait on everything that we asked for. I think she just kept forgetting. The food Was mediocre at best. Had the 16 ounce ribeye, it was not the best steak I've had. Let's just say that. Texas roadhouse was better. Definitely not worth the money. Had brussels sprouts which were flash fried, needed some flavor, could use some kind of sauce and would've been much better. Had mushrooms and again could've been better. It was just OK. I think the best thing we had were the Parker rolls. and that's a shame , being that your meal was about $175 and we should shared . They definitely need to tweak their food. If you're going to charge that much at a fancy steakhouse it better be superb!! And it was not . read more

The food was overall disappointing. Both our meals were lukewarm. The risotto that accompanied my duck was stiff and the butternut squash in it was undercooked. The stars of the food that evening were the Brussels sprouts and cornbread. Service was great. We had a very nice waitress.
