Decked out in Coke memorabilia along with black and white tiled floors, this is your very classic diner and the oldest in the county at 71 years!. They were on America's Best Restraunts and have been voted the best Diner in NWA for the last 3 years and this year won Best American Restraunt in NWA. A must try. read more

Stopped in for breakfast and was happy with the food. The diner is a true small town USA diner with a Coke theme. The dining room was clean and full of regulars that knew the staff by name. Our server was very friendly and everyone we interacted with was great. The food took about 15 minutes to come out but it looked like one lady was cooking everything and they were pretty busy. The usual omelette was pretty good and large. The jalapeños weren't overly spicy but the perfect amount of kick. I wished the hash-browns were crispier but I seem to think that everywhere, so that's just my preference. The prices seemed average as well. read more

Well, I'm traveling again so I am reviewing some local places, in Rogers Arkansas. The restaurant a very plain little place on the outside, not a lot to look at. When you get inside, it's about the same. But don't let that appearance fool you because the food was fantastic. Country favorites are what l recommend. The waitress was friendly , she came to our table immediately and was willing to explain all the items that we were looking at. She had a wholesome sunny smile and was very friendly. This is a true country breakfast place so go full country that's my suggestion. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely fantastic, eggs prepared, exactly as ordered and I can't say enough about the excellent creamy buttery grits And the prices were very fair for the amount of food received and it's quality. If I weren't just moving through, I would make this a regular place. Please come out and try it help the local's build their business. read more

We ate here with a friend this morning and it was good. The wait staff was prompt. Nothing we ate was overly greasy either. I enjoyed their biscuit without the gravy as well as their eggs and ham option. It was flavorful with a good blend. It wasn't too noisy in there either but we went kind of late morning. I've eaten here with my family over the course of the last two years, we don't go out to eat often, so once we found this place, we knew this would be one of our spots. Suffice to say, the quality in staff has plummeted. It is clearly some of these server's first jobs as they don't know their steps of service as they prefer to gossip at server stations rather than ask their tables how their food is, then have the audacity to audibly complain in the dining room when another table left without tipping. If these trends continue not only will the servers not be making money, but the business will neither. Please retrain your staff! read more

Overall our group enjoyed our experience at Wesner's Grill. It has a fun vibe and was busy for a Friday morning, but not too busy where we couldn't get seated right away. It's a local favorite of our friends who live in the area. The chicken fried steak was delicious and definitely an item we would recommend ordering. I did enjoy the downtowner, but I'm not sure it would get it again. I think I would have enjoyed a little more biscuit with it. Went here for breakfast this AM. If you are in a hurry, this is definitely not the place for you during the weekend breakfast rush, but the food is well worth the wait....... Special today was the chicken fried steak and eggs......it comes with your choice of potatoes (I had the casserole), and toast or biscuits and gravy (I chose the latter). Hands down, this is the textbook example of what a chicken fried steak should taste like. Our server, Ava, suggested to try some Cholula sauce on the potatoes, which gave it a little extra punch and cut away from the richness of the cheese and cream. My wife had the pancakes and ordered a side of bacon.....I am not sure what was in the pancakes, but there was a hint of vanilla.....they were totally awesome and more than she was able to finish. Bacon was nice and crisp, and on point. This is one of those restaurants you need to come hungry, and you will be able to skip your lunch if you clean your plate. Just had our first meal (breakfast) at Wesner's Grill. Overall, food was pretty good; prices were "normal;" and service was exceptional except for bringing out butter when my pancake was served. I have to say the coffee wasn't very good; it was weak and fairly tasteless. The pancake that came with my meal was barely warm and I had to wait a long time for butter that was finally served ice cold so I couldn't spread it. Finally, the coup de gras: the facility in the LADIES ROOM was VERY, VERY POOR! For a rather large and VERY BUSY restaurant, the toilet was an old fashioned, residential piece that wouldn't flush down. I should have taken the hint when I spied a plunger sitting next to it, indicating that this is an ONGOING problem! Why wouldn't the owner recognize that this is a MAJOR turnoff to their customers??!! Just FIX IT ALREADY...once and for all!!! read more

It's a simple fact: breakfast is hard to mess up. You have to almost go out of your way to mess up eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and pancakes. These are not difficult foods to make. They are easy. You can doll them up and make them spectacular, but at the end of the day it's breakfast food. Well, at Wesners they don't go out of their way to doll up any of their breakfast. What breakfast is is what it is. Not amazing. Not over the top. Just breakfast. If that is what you want, then this would be a five-star review. I would like more than that, so it gets a one-star deduction. I want something that sets them apart from say Cracker Barrel or Denny's or IHOP. But, Wesner's doesn't seem to try. They are normal, run-of-the-mill breakfast. The reason for the second star deduction is because the inside is old, out-dated, and dirty. The staff was nice enough, but the place needs a serious facelift and more cleaning. Add to this in the bathroom was gross and the seat for the toilet was completely missing. Completely!!!!! Good thing I didn't need it at that moment. :-/ So, it's not bad food, it's just not exciting. It's ok. I can think of at least 5 other breakfast places I'd rather go to. read more

What a great country diner! This was my first visit and we were greeted with a big smile as soon as we walked in the door and told to pick any table we wanted. As soon as we were seated our server came over with a huge smile on her face and just made us feel right at home. She took our order and had our drinks out to us in seconds. Our drinks never got less than half full and the the coffee was good, hot and fresh. Our food arrived in about 8-10 minutes and was also good hot and freshly made. Our first day living in Rogers and we had to find breakfast because we haven't unpacked the kitchen yet. This is an old school diner and we loved it. An extensive menu and the service was excellent. I had the bacon and cheese omelette with hash brown and side of bacon. The egg was stuffed with bacon and the hash brown was cooked perfectly. My wife had the French toast which was Texas toast and was excellent as well. Can't wait to try lunch and dinner. read more

We had one of their omelets and a mushroom Swiss burger. Both were very good. I had the onion rings as my side and they were very good. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Nice little local mom & pop grill. Very familiar kinda burger & tots kinda joint that has been around for years. This one is most known for their breakfast, but their burgers aren't bad. I've seen several talk about it taking an hour to get their food and service being bad. Well maybe you came on a really really bad day. The breakfast is very routine. Nothing spectacular. The inside is old and needs upgrading. We waited nearly 30 min. for our food which is ridiculous since a table that came in after us had their food in less than 15 min. I watched the short order cooks. The guy on the grill just left his station and the other lady just straightened things and got more plates, etc. I don't know what the problem is, but we eventually got our food and left. No tip. We had their Breakfast and it was WONDERFUL! Everything was cooked to our liking. Our Waitress was on top of keeping our drinks refilled and was very pleasant. This was an old time diner feel, but definitely a diamond in the rough. Appeared to be the place where the Locals go for Breakfast/Lunch. Our ONLY complaint is they are VERY SLOW. So, if you eat here, plan on being there 2 hours from time you order until the time you are finished eating. This is why I took off a Star. I had some friends visiting from out of town, who had never eaten at Wesner's before. My grandmother used to be a regular with her best friend. They would have coffee and chat for hours. Great, no nonsense, home cookin' food. Enjoyed the Coca Cola look & layout. Our server, Brandy, was very friendly and professional; she really new her menu items as she recited our options. Though I had seen this place when I grew up here in the late 70's to the mid 80's I had never eaten here. I learned that this is the oldest restaurant in Benton County. With food and the customer service that was given I can understand why it has stood the test time. We highly recommend this place! read more
