We had their Breakfast and it was WONDERFUL! Everything was cooked to our liking. Our Waitress was on top of keeping our drinks refilled and was very pleasant. This was an old time diner feel, but definitely a diamond in the rough. Appeared to be the place where the Locals go for Breakfast/Lunch. Our ONLY complaint is they are VERY SLOW. So, if you eat here, plan on being there 2 hours from time you order until the time you are finished eating. This is why I took off a Star. However, the other 2 Chain Breakfast places we stopped at first had over an hour wait just to be seated. I would go back here to eat. I just need to plan time accordingly. Again, FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! The breakfast is very routine. Nothing spectacular. The inside is old and needs upgrading. We waited nearly 30 min. for our food which is ridiculous since a table that came in after us had their food in less than 15 min. I watched the short order cooks. The guy on the grill just left his station and the other lady just straightened things and got more plates, etc. I don't know what the problem is, but we eventually got our food and left. No tip. I had some friends visiting from out of town, who had never eaten at Wesner's before. My grandmother used to be a regular with her best friend. They would have coffee and chat for hours. Great, no nonsense, home cookin' food. Enjoyed the Coca Cola look & layout. Our server, Brandy, was very friendly and professional; she really new her menu items as she recited our options. Though I had seen this place when I grew up here in the late 70's to the mid 80's I had never eaten here. I learned that this is the oldest restaurant in Benton County. Came here with my husband after church, and I'm glad we did! Excellent service, nice variety of dining option, good coffee, and a fun diner design all made for a great morning breakfast date! We came on a Sunday at Noon- no wait and plenty of empty tables! Wesner's is a diner in the heart of Rogers. If you're looking for a hearty meal that's affordable and enjoy a good diner, this is the place! We got the slop, which seems to be what they're known for. It has hash browns, scrambled eggs, cheese, gravy and you choice of ham, bacon or sausage (or all three if you can't decide!) The slop came with toast or a biscuit ($10). My family and I have been regulars to Wesner's since moving to Rogers over 30 year's ago, but after today we will no longer be visiting this establishment. I have breakfast every Sunday with my kids and meet at a different place every week and the kids wanted to go to Wesner's since we hadn't been there in about a month. We arrived at 9 o'clock with a party of five and there weren't any single table available for that many, so we asked if we could pull two of the 4-person tables that were beside each other and empty together so we could all sit together, but were told we could sit at both tables but could not pull them together. They would not have been blocking an isle, so still not sure why we couldn't. We ordered our food and started catching up about my daughter's new job in downtown and this went on for about 30 minutes, still waiting on our food. Noticed that others that had came in after us were getting served so asked the waitress if she new when our food would be coming up and she said she would check. Fifteen minutes go by and we've now been waiting 45 minutes when she comes back to let us know there were issues in the kitchen but they had moved our ticket to the front of the line. Others around us who arrived after us, were served and the second round of folks had received their order when our food finally arrives after another 15-20 minutes, which was great as usual along with the ticket. Now usually in any other restaurant we would have been offered a discount of some type for having to wait over an hour for something as simple as bacon and eggs, but after asking Jeff, the manager, he completely flew into a rage. Going on about how restaurant employees are always given so much grief and it wasn't his fault they failed to get our order to us in a timely manner. After his attitude and attack I told him I told him I felt we shouldn't be charged 100% and then he really went off and told me that none of this was there fault, so I told him I didn't have to take this kind of attitude at this point I wasn't paying for any of it. He stormed off stating something derogatory and that we should just go have fun at church, which on Sunday mornings is a large part of the crowd, but I think he's the one that needs to visit a church from time to time. I never raised my voice to him or said anything derogatory, but someone with his attitude definitely shouldn't be in the restaurant or any business that serves the public. read more

We hadn't been to this place in several years so we thought we would give it a shot this morning. We arrived about 9am on a Saturday morning and it was packed! You seat yourselves so we found one of the few tables still open. We were quickly greeted by our server and soon had our drinks and placed our order. They still have an open kitchen where you can watch the short order cooks work their magic. It was REALLY LOUD in the restaurant, but it had a great small town feel with everyone being social. Worth the loud for that atmosphere. I had The Slops with sausage and a pancake on the side and my wife had a Western omelet with hash browns and toast. Took about 25 minutes to get our food but it was super fresh and delicious! The only downside was that they serve margarine instead of real butter with the pancakes. You have to have real butter if you are a breakfast place. Come on folks! Service was excellent and prices were competitive or the local market. We will be back soon!! read more

It's a classic diner. It has a solid following with its local regulars. You are going to find the classic dishes they have been making for decades. I was surprised that I could customize my omelet with egg whites and get any veggie I wanted which is awesome. A couple years ago I remember randomly calling them one rough morning after our neighbors and I were out on the lake late for fireworks and I was able to order 6 sausage gravy and biscuits to go and they were nicely boxed with utensils. There's no flash or hipster crowd coming in here, but their food is solid. Our pancake surprise on St Patrick's day! They were green shamrocks with lucky charms. The dining area is decorated in old Coke-a-Cola decor certainly describes its stick-to-what keeps them coming. read more

Can you give negative stars? We heard this place was a local favorite ... Don't go there unless you have an hour to wait for your food. After waiting for our breakfast for 3 people the waitress finally came over and said our order was lost and they moved it to the front of the line. She asked if the manager could give us a discount but the manager didn't have the authorization to reduce the bill because the owner didn't give her authority to serve to be a manager. When the food finally arrived the order was wrong. You'd think there would be some attention to details once they knew there was a problem. Eggs were over cooked, missing items on the order, 10 minutes later finally brought rest of the order. Maybe this establishment needs a restaurant overhaul or new management read more

There wasn't so much as an explanation or apology for the wait, the waitress never even came back to see whether or not everything was good and if we needed anything. Pretty standard fare: grits and bacon with biscuits and gravy. Large portions of meat, if that's your thing. Grits were fine, and bacon was perfect (not over or under cooked). (Hands Down the best breakfast in Rogers! We had a late breakfast there today, so hungry we ordered enough for a lumberjack. Everything cooked perfectly (by all means have the hashbrown casserole!!) A breath of fresh air from the chain restaurants - - it has that small-town, everybody knows everybody feel. Brandy did an outstanding job as our server. I am fond of the classic diner locations in NWA, as they have a charm to them from the 50s onward that isn't always available at newer locations. While not an upscale diner, it has a very welcoming feel to it, along with the friendly staff. The portions seemed rather large for the price, which is always a good thing. I tried the 'Slops' on the menu, and despite the unappetizing name, it is a very filling and delightful flavor. I recommend trying that next time you stop by this place, but be sure to be hungry first, otherwise, you won't be able to make it all the way through!
