Solid Vietnamese / Thai food cart. Everything I've had is good. The netted fried rolls are great and one of their specialties. Bang bang shrimp is solid. Deep fried but still very light. Owners are super friendly

This food cart is a hidden gem! The dishes are always fresh, savory and portions are generous. The menu offers a nice variety without being overwhelming. All dishes are delicious!! Whether it's a weekend or a weekday, Wen's Kitchen is always a great place to stop by for a delicious meal while enjoying your drinks from Arbor Beer Lodge next to it. The place host trivia on Thursdays and live music on Saturdays, making it a lively spot to gather with family and friends. Best of all, it's both kid- and dog-friendly, so everyone feels welcome.

Just tried the bang bang shrimp dish. Was expecting them to be closed as arrived late on a Sunday past their posted hours but they were still going although sold out of a couple items however didn't affect my order. Staff was super friendly and thankful to their customers. The food was nicely prepared not over sauced with a perfect fry and the rice was airy yet sticky. Will be back to try more.

I have been to this place a few times now and each time the food was delicious!! But I especially love the Bang Bang Shrimp with fried rice!! You have got to try this place!

    Garlic Shrimp Noodles

For context, garlic noodles have been my favorite comfort food for as long as I can remember. This was the best garlic noodle dish I've ever , seasoning was absolutely on point. San and his wife are so kind , I can't recommend this place enough. Tons of options to enjoy from Wen's !

I had the Spring Rolls - Nem Nuong (sausage) and Special Luc Lac (beef tenderloin), both were delicious and large portions. Spring Rolls were packed with veggies, noodles, and sausage with a tasty peanut sauce. Luc Lac Beef Tenderloin was tender and juicy with slightly crispy outside. Large fat chunks I cut into smaller pieces. I also loved the rice and salad too. Very filling and delicious! Notes: I came on a weeknight for dinner and it was popping! I was able to snag a bar seat after 5 mins since a couple people finished their meal. You order at the front desk and then head to seat. They have self-serve water, utensils, and takeout boxes. Workers were welcoming, friendly, and helpful even during controlled chaos of dinner rush. Love all the decor and lights making for a cool dining ambiance. It was so delicious that I brought my spouse back for dinner when he arrived later in the weekend. When I went the first night I got the shrimp pad Thai and it was the best pad Thai I've had in a long time. So full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I also got the hazy IPA from the local brewery, Backwoods. When we came back later in the weekend, my spouse got the shrimp pad Thai since I sang its praises. I got the million dollar shrimp tom kha ramen and it was DIVINE! I literally cherished every slurp and bite, it was so incredible and flavorful! My spouse got a different local IPA and I got a unique twist on a Negroni. The staff were extremely friendly helpful, ensuring that we had an impeccable experience from start to finish. Prices were also reasonable for the high quality ingredients, quantity, and presentation. The ambiance was wonderful, offering a clean, welcoming, and modern-green chic aesthetic. Not only did we have an amazing dinning experience, but also an amazing service and ambiance experience! If we are ever in town again, Buranko Cafe & Bar will be our top spot to stop!

The interior is certainly instagram worthy with a beautiful interior cherry tree as the centerpiece of the interior. The star of the show really is the food though, right? We tried several smaller dishes and all were divine. I should mention also, the cocktails are crafted with care and not too boozy. Service was fantastic with a no rush approach and a subtle check in frequently to make sure everything is covered off (drinks, etc.).

We spent nearly $400 on dinner and expected a much higher level of service and communication. We ordered several dishes, and while most of the food arrived, the last two dishes never came. We waited over 30-40 minutes with no updates from the staff. No one checked on us or informed us of any delay,we had to ask multiple times ourselves. What made the experience even more frustrating was that we noticed another couple who arrived after us. Their food continued to come out promptly, and staff checked on them several times throughout their meal. Meanwhile, we were left waiting, wondering where our food was, with little to no communication from anyone. Each time we asked about our missing dishes, we were told, "Just one minute." Ten minutes later, there was still no food. After waiting so long, I finally asked to cancel the remaining dishes. About five minutes later, one of the dishes was brought out anyway without any explanation. I told the waitress that we had already canceled it, and she simply said "okay," took the dish, and walked away. A few minutes later, another staff member brought out the other canceled dish and told us it was complimentary and that we could take it to go if we weren't hungry. The issue was never about getting free food. I wasn't looking for free food.I brought my daughter here for her birthday because I believed this was a nice restaurant that would provide a memorable experience. Instead of leaving with happy memories from my daughter's birthday celebration, we left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and upset. The lack of communication, poor service, and overall handling of the situation completely overshadowed what should have been a special evening.

While it's great to check off a notable Portland spot, the steep pricing and a major quality control hiccup make it more of a one-time stop for me personally. 14" Famous Tickler (3/5): A standard cold sub loaded with ham, salami, pepperoni, and traditional toppings. The bread didn't appear to be toasted, making it a bit dry and tough to bite through without heavily relying on the complimentary garlic mayo on the side. It's a massive sandwich, but the flavor profile itself is fairly unremarkable. 14" Teriyaki Steak Philly (2/5): A hot sub that unfortunately fell short of the price tag. The sandwich was light on the bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and melted provolone cheese, leaving the sandwich feeling a bit bare. Adding to the disappointment, a piece of what looked like tinsel was found inside my sandwich, which was a major turn-off for quality control. Logistics Tip: Street parking in the area is free and easy to find. The counter service is incredibly friendly, laid-back, and highly efficient, bringing out orders well under their 15 minute estimate while offering great complimentary condiments like garlic mayo. However, outdoor seating is extremely limited and easily packs out, so plan to grab your food to-go. With two large sandwiches totaling $43, it leans on the expensive side for a casual lunch

Brunch in Portland, Oregon…read more.. After I read reviews about Portland's Chinatown, I searched for a dimsum place outside of Chinatown and found Jade Rabbit I liked the name of the place and saw that they had two kinds of rabbit-shaped dimsum! Another cool thing is that their menu is vegan... that means that I don't have to worry about dairy products that give me pain. We found free street parking about a half a block away and waited for Jade Rabbit to open at 11am. We didn't have reservations, but we're seated immediately. The decor was great! I enjoyed looking at all of the Rabbit figurines! The furniture was colorful and the convenient restroom had interesting decorations, too! The service was okay. Some items were not available and our server recited the list that included chow funn. Shucks! She came back later and said that the chow funn was, in fact, available... yay! Our server seemed a bit nervous as her hand shook and placed the special menu upside-down... LOL! We won't bite you! She recommended the Ube Jam drink - it was made with coconut cream... yes! The chow funn was a bit bland. We added some soy sauce. The Puto Pao Bunny Bao had an unusual flavor - maybe the brown sugar can be omitted because the black garlic and vegan pork might be fine without it? The Jade Rabbit Dumplings also could be more savory. Something was off... and the filling was a bit sparse. Anyway, maybe we could have ordered better, but we got what we wanted! Thank you for the cute food! Note: 22 percent is added to the bill - so no need to tip.
