Bad experience! Very slow and terrible service. 20 minutes for 5 cars in front of us just to get a 4 for 4 with a chocolate frosty. When we got up there they had no chocolate frosty's. The worker was on her phone and didn't even engage conversation to tell us our total for our order. On November 13th, I stopped at the South Haven Wendy's late afternoon on my way home. I used the drive thru and had an extremely disappointing unpleasant experience. The associate on the microphone was rude and very unpleasant! She offered no greeting - "Welcome to Wendy's " or anything of the sort. I proceeded to the first window and paid for the order and was not given a receipt nor could I get her attention again. Then proceeded to the pick up window and met another unpleasant associate, who again offered no greeting. Again I asked for a receipt and was ignored, so decided to dial the satisfaction number posted on the window and placed a complaint to customer service associate who took my information and pleasantly asked if I would like a call back so I provided my information. I left the parking lot and proceeded to unwrap my chicken sandwich and first noticed it was not entirely wrapped! The top bun was burned black - I lifted it and there was a tiny piece of chiken with a piece of lettuce the size of 2 postage stamps. I noticed a strong unpleasant smell as if it were spoiled meat. I rewrapped the sandwich and placed it back in the bag and noticed they dumped the fries without a container in the bag. These were cold and soggy - so then took a sip of the Coke and it had absolutely had no fizz - flat and syrupy. Upset I decided to pull off the road and call the satisfaction number back and surprisingly got the same customer associate who added this new information to my complaint. She assured me I would receive a back call about my experience. The next afternoon, I received a call from the South Haven Wendy's store manager. Much to my surprise she was just as unpleasant as her two employees from yesterday. Not once during the conversation was an apology offered or anything similarly uttered for the terrible service and meal I received. Our conversation amounted to a minute long and was told me she would pass the information on to the district manager. It's now been 5 days since my complaint and no one has recontacted me about this unpleasant experience and offered an explanation or sincere apology. I'm appalled at this management's lack of attention to an obvious issue. For the record I have shared this experience with local friends and co-workers who all have said they at one time or another have had experienced isues with this Wendy's. UPDATE! It has now been 3 weeks with only a phone message to contact him. After returning his call I still am waiting for contact with your district manager or even the store manager. It appears again your customers are of no priority to your business. I am considering further action now as Wendy's has failed to successfully rectify this serious incident. I work until 2;;30 Monday thru Friday and December 5th I am unavailable to be contacted. At this point I will expect a call from someone at the corporate level which does not include a district manager as he as made no further attempt to contact me and the store manager has proven she does not care to resolve this matter either. We went to said restaurant yesterday twice we were short changed in money both times. When we approached the person that was the manager on duty we were treated rudely like we were wrong and was told quote "oh that happens all the time here". I was thinking oh thats encouraging. Crew was in the establishment talking dancing around and had nothing to do with servicing or taking care of business. Noone at first window to give money too. Guy that gave us our food at second window was eating when he gave us our food and had food in his hand at the time and crumbs on his shirt and his mouth. So most people go into a fast food place with expectations of it being relatively speedy, nothing gourmet and it's not uncommon to be missing something from an order. We had no idea of the mess we were walking into in this Wendy's. One of the women's bathroom toilets was broken, the soda machines only had a handful of flavors, they were out of barbecue sauce packets, the flavored lemonade machines were empty, no receipt paper, and a few other things I overheard the cashier say to customers. I would have to guess there was no manager on staff?? The inefficiency of the staff was extraordinary to see...most everybody was just walking around in circles not even touching food or equipment. Only two staff members had uniforms on- super weird. The floor was disgusting in the kitchen. I can say I did appreciate the cheery attitude of the cashier and the one guy who actually cooked the food and packaged it all up. Every aspect of the ordering process was unpleasant - service was slow, the woman working the register gave us incorrect change and did not apologize after we corrected her, burgers were sloppily made and one was incorrectly made, and I got an overall attitude from the cashier that she hated her job. Whenever I have gone to this Wendy's I have always had an terrible experience! So today I ordered a number 4 meal, when I got to the 1st window they already was handing it to me in less than a min. When this happens I know that the food is going to be thrown together and going to be shit! So I took the food and right away noticed that my fries were cold and my sandwich had a big ole piece of lettuce on it and no bacon. My sandwich was supposed to come with bacon. I LOVE Wendy's Restaurants!!! So on a cold snowy January day 2015 I pulled off the highway and was anxiously awaiting getting their wonderful chili and a hamburger. I went through the drive-thru. Since I didn't check my order when I left the window it was a big disappointment when I did open the bag. The chili's container had chili slopped all over the outside and it was quite gross. Someone's handprint was even on it. Disgusting. The hamburger was barely wrapped and just thrown into the bag it appeared. I do not think I will stop there again. Too bad. read more

What the heck is this. Absolutely disgusting! First stop was bathroom. Toilet paper holder in both stalls was broke. So sharing a roll of toilet paper was not an option for sanitary reasons. Plus there was feces on the floor. Went to wash my hands, towel dispenser was broke so the roll was set next to the dink next to all of the previously used towels because there wasn't a garbage can. We were going to eat here but my husband said lets get out of here. His shoes were sticking to the floor from ketchup. Counters were scattered with scraps of paper, food and who knows what else. I'm pretty easy going when it comes to fast food but when I damaged my $900 rims up trying to steer around to pay. That's where I need to speak up. The drive through path is a bit narrow and if you're looking at the menu don't do what I did. The worst Wendy's I've ever been too. Probably the worst fast food joint I've been too. We walked in and the garbage cans were all turned around so there was garbage all over the top of them. The floor was littered with crumbs, fries, and paper garbage. We got in line and the guy ordering said they were out of ice but then he changed his mind and said there was ice. The drinks were all flat and tasted awful. The burger was basically cold. Room temperature food is NOT good. The only thing that was actually good about the meal was the fries - and we waited about 10 minutes for them because they were low on fries. The salad was awful too, how does someone screw up a salad? Finally, there was boxes and bags of buns in the back of the kitchen ON THE FLOOR clearly visible to customers. South Haven Wendy's SUCKS!!! Got in line at 6:12 last night and didn't pull out with my food until 6:50 with only 6 cars in line. Waited over 8 minutes just at the window for my food. I ordered the new Parmesan Crisp salad but that is not what I received. I got a regular Caesar salad which had about an inch and a half of water in the bottom of my bowl. Looked like the lettuce had remnants of feta cheese on it, which the salad I ordered should not have had that on it. Looks like someone took lettuce from a different salad and rinsed it with water and just slung the shit back in the bowl soaking wet! Terrible. Haven't a had a good experience at this crap hole yet. Careless workers (that, or really terribly trained workers). Something is always wrong with the food. We brought a whole bus load of people to this Wendy's, and had a fantastic experience. The managers, Adrianna and Joshua, did an amazing job of keeping the line going, and had us all (50 people) served in less than 5 minutes. Not only that, but they served us with such friendliness and helpfulness, Adrianna checking in and making sure their customers were satisfied, and all the while keeping the drive-through going. This wendys is one of few that really knkws how to make dome good food. I got a baconator with baconator fries and every bite i took there was bacon. Not just 2 strips and thats it. And the fries were amazing. There was a layer of bacon, cheses, then another of bacon. Every other wendys i have been to puts one piece of bacon and one slice of cheese. Twas delicious read more
