The old lady talking orders and at window cashing out messed up on our order 5 times, took way longer than needed and was unnecessary. I confirmed my order before moving forward and when I got to the window my total was different and there was an extra item. Overall decent restaurant experience. I give it a 60 percent or three stars because it was a little dirty on the inside but the workers are doing a great job. I was passing through on my way home to Arkansas. First of all I got delicious food from Wendy's and three of the employees including Pierre were extremely friendly to me and my family. We realized about an hour past this Wendy's that my daughter lost her brand new sandal in the parking lot. I called and talk to Pierre who immediately went and located it in the parking lot. He came back and let me know he would hold it for me until my husband could pick it up on his way home to Arkansas also. I have not been in a Wendy's that was this bad. The staff was super slow. Unfortunately - the pink sweatshirt one of the boys (very young in age) were wearing (one that handed out the food) was extremely dirty and that just horrified the whole situation. This is gonna be a long one. If there was an opportunity to get negative stars, you best believe I would do that. I understand that people have bad experiences but this was awful from the very beginning to the bitter end. Not once single part of this experience was even remotely close to acceptable. So let's get into it. Let's start with the wait time. I drove past and seen it was the shortest line out of the "fast" foods that were available and so I said what the heck, I'll get Wendy's. It's been a while. Bad choice. I pull in and I'm sitting there. Not paying attention but on my phone in park waiting and about 10 minutes goes by and I realize that I have not pulled my foot off the break. Have not moved one inch. Nothing is happening. Now I'm paying attention to the nothingness that is the line and well Wendy's drive thru has a convenient curb that locks you into the drive thru so once you're in, your in it until the very end because believe me, if I could drive out of that horrid place, I would have. So I start watching the clock and 15 more minutes goes by and I'm finally at the window to order my food. Another 5 minutes goes by and I'm at the window to pay. The lady who I assume to be the manager, is looking lost and doesn't come to the window for about 3 minutes. I'm laughing at this point because of the god awful service here. I hear the lady ask if I was given my drink by the young hood rat working who really doesn't look like he cares too much for his job. So she brings my drink. I'm watching in the window now and I watched this punk "wrap" my double baconator and put it in the bag. He comes to the window. Doesn't say a single thing. Hands my food and my card back to me and shuts the window. At this point I'm just ready to get out of this nightmare of a Wendy's. My order was as follows. Double baconator, spicy chicken jalapeño popper sandwich large fries and pub fries. My pub fries look like trash. I ate them tho because it was the first thing I grabbed as I was driving and I should have opened my bag prior to leaving. I get home and my baconator had not one piece of bacon on it and honestly I have had better burgers from the dollar store frozen section than that sorry excuse of a burger. I have no idea what was supposed to be on the jalapeño popper burger but I'm just going to assume that was wrong because there wasn't anything spicy or jalapeño popper about it. I would give it a zero. Guy working the drive thru was literally the worst. He didn't even let me finish asking for my order, and then didn't say a word or look at me when I pulled up to the window. Lots of fast food in my years and this was real bad. Wow. Also, I'm aware I'm reviewing a fast food place so my standards are a bit lower than normal, but this was terrible. So I stopped there last Saturday around 1030 while enroute to a friends boat in Holland. I knew I needed something to line my stomach for a day of drinking and some Wendy's fries and chicken nuggets washed down with some diet coke sound amazing. I'm normally a drive through girl but had to use the bathroom, so I went inside. There was no line so I ducked into the bathroom first and was impressed that the man working the front greeted me with a friendly "Welcome to Wendy's!" (I later learned the man that greeted me was Terrance, see below). The restroom was clean enough and I was in and out quickly, unfortunately a family of 4 with extremely specific orders (hold this, add this, etc) had come in, so I needed to wait to order. No sweat, that happens and no fault of the staff there this family was a pain and got there before me. Once they ordered (and prior to taking mine), the manager who took their order (Terrance) went to the back to attempt to organize his workers. There were literally 15 people working so I have no idea how this place was so badly organized, but it was a disaster. Terrance was attempting to organize his staff while the line built up behind him and no one seemed to be doing anything. A highlight was the surly looking teenager who Terrance asked to mop something up, and and kept rolling her eyes at him, or maybe it was the woman be assigned to fill drinks who didn't seem to anything right. The whole place was extremely disorganized and none of the staff seemed to care at all that the line was building up longer and longer and customers were getting more and more annoyed. All in all to use the bathroom and get an order of fries, chicken nuggets and a diet coke took 29 minutes (I know this because I texted my friend as I was walking in to ask if he wanted anything), should have been 5. Again, it's fast food so my standards are lower than normal, but even given the lower standards, this place was terrible organization wise and it was clear these workers had no pride in their work at all. However, let it be known that the manager Terrance was absolutely killing it. He had a staff of 15 that was completely clueless, a line of customers building up and still greeted everyone, smiled when he was taking orders and remained patient with his seemingly incompetent staff. You go Terrance, that positive energy was amazing and I hope you can be recognized for your hard work. PS - food was exactly like any other Wendy's, which means it was pretty tasty.
