I recommend getting an appetizer and pizza if you go as those are very good. Great drinks too! I love their outdoor seating in the summer! Definitely make sure to check out if you're looking for a good downtown dinner spot in Holland!

Here's the full story: My Dad loves his Bourbon. He ordered "Eagle Rare Bourbon neat" and specifically said, "not the Rye". Well when he takes his first sip, Dad immediately knows it is the Rye. Unfortunately, the waiter already walked away. He passed the glass around, and everyone at the table agreed to the best of their knowledge that it is a Rye. I've had both. It tastes like the Rye. When the waiter comes back, he apologies and goes back to get the Bourbon. This time, he comes back with a small tasting glass to make sure Dad wants the Bourbon. He drinks it, confirms this one is the Bourbon, and the waiter is on his way. So far, good customer service! Except, the waiter doesn't come back with the proper drink. Next, the manager comes back and explains he "watched the video footage and confirmed the bartender did not touch the Eagle Rare Rye bottle, therefore the original drink must be the Bourbon". Nope! No no no no no. My Dad tasted both, and they are definitely not from the same bottle! After the manager walked away, I smelled the empty tasting glass and the original Rye glass and 100% confirmed for myself that the liquor in each glass was different! You aren't going to gaslight my nose and my Dad's much more experienced taste buds! Either the manager was lying about reviewing video footage, he reviewed footage from the wrong timeframe, or the original Rye wasn't even from Eagle Rare but some other bottle the manager wasn't looking at. He did NOT confirm that the footage showed the bartender poring Eagle Rare Bourbon the first time. Anyways, we were too polite to make a fuss at the time, but I'm finally taking the time to write this review. Who reviews video footage (or worse, lies about doing so) over a single drink dispute? Who looks an old(er) man dead in the face and claims his taste buds are deceiving him? I'm very disappointed by the behavior of that manager.

The interior is a decent size, high ceilings, open, exposed brick wall and wood. The food was a much higher standard than the average brewery, which is good for me as I do not drink beer. I did try their peppermint holiday cider, which was interesting, I don't think I'd order it again, but my friend really liked it. My nephew noted that he was glad the food was good, not just the fries, as he is not old enough for beer. He had the chicken tenders and he said they were the best he's ever had. We started with the giant pretzel. It was a special, which is too bad, as it was fantastic (and should be added to the menu). There was that slight crispness to the outside, warm soft inside, and perfect crystallized salt. It came with cheese sauce and grainy mustard, both were great, the pretzel could still hold its own without sauce. Their menu is not huge, and I think it's better for it. They featured steak and burgers (and my aunt was happy to have a good gluten free bun!). I had the garlic steak tips, cooked perfectly at medium, and garlic mashed potatoes (I'm sure my breath was potent after). The sauce was very good, and I love garlic, so being very garlicky worked for me. It also had a side of creamy horseradish sauce that paired perfectly. The only mis step was the steak was a bit cool in temperature, and I didn't want to send it back and the be over cooked. The others had burgers, and an autumn salad. The salad was also noted it to better than average, it was good they had a lighter option on the menu. The entrance area also had a butcher area to buy beef.

I like that typically means the employers are good to their employees. As for the food, meh. The salad was fantastic. The burger, I had a burger special beer something. The bun was cold and the meat dry. I was hoping for a sloppy wipe my face with lots of napkins burger. Sadly I did not get that, maybe someone else would enjoy a dry burger with a cold bun. I would definitely go back and order something different. The salad orders looked absolutely fantastic. Lastly the positive attitude of the staff makes me want to go back and support them.

Although it was busy, we were seated immediately. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside, which helped the wait. The menu is fairly short, but that wasn't an issue since there were still plenty of appealing options. I started with the Dragon's Milk Toasted Marshmallow drink. Based on the name, I expected something sweet, but it was much more bitter than anticipated. We also ordered the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pinwheels, and they were incredible. Crispy, flavorful, and easily one of the best appetizers I've had at a restaurant. I highly recommend giving them a try. For my meal, I got the Dixie Luau, their take on a Hawaiian pizza. It was excellent. The crust was the perfect thickness, and the toppings were generous. What really stood out was the pineapple, it tasted fresh and high quality compared to the canned pineapple that many places use. If the weather is nice, definitely ask to sit on the front patio. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the food, and do a little people-watching. The atmosphere was great, and I'd absolutely come back the next time I'm in the area.

Options of in the sun or in the shade but beautiful set up inside is a little cozy as well, but can't pass up sitting outside on these beautiful days. Service is great. The gals kept checking in on us quite often and we're friendly throughout. This place is a step up to the bar and order type deal unique but I feel like it keeps everything efficient. The food was pretty good and came out fairly quick. I got nachos for the second day in a row the sauces and salsa were very tasty. I got extra southwest ranch on the side. They do cost a little extra, but it helped add some additional flavor. My only critique would be loading it up more by adding a queso cheese option or additional cut veggies, or jalapeños or guac, but not bad. They also have a very extensive drink less in their own seltzers and in-house stuff which makes it tough to decide what you really can't go wrong. Oh and I forgot we started with the cheese curds which were phenomenal. Definitely continue to look this place up and check it out if we're in the area and would recommend.
