The murals are fun and they feature Iggy, the owners' dog, as well as his namesake, Iggy Pop. The menu is pretty simple with pizza, breadsticks, salads, sandwiches, and dips. I got a large grande pizza (homemade italian sausage, savory roasted broccoli, sweet & spicy pepper relish, red sauce) and an order of cheesy garlic bread. The food came out and I was so excited because it looked and smelled amazing. The pizza was huge and we had leftovers for days. I loved the charred broccoli and slightly spicy peppers. The crust was the perfect thinness and held up well to the toppings. The cheese bread was SO CHEESY and delicious--I love sesame so it made me happy that it was a sesame bread. The red sauce it came with for dipping was mouth-wateringly delicious and bursting with fresh tomato flavor. I chatted with the manager for a bit and he was so pleasant and kind. I know I said I don't get to Fennville that often, but I'd come back just for more of this pizza.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the staff members and made to feel as if I was a regular. They explained the specials clearly and friendly and enticed me to get the lunch special which is well worth it. The vibe in the restaurant is similar to being in your own living room surrounded by friends and family. I ate by myself but I didn't feel alone in the restaurant. Everyone was talking and having a good time the music in the background was nice and you can hear genuine laughs coming from the kitchen. It's always nice to see happy staff members making delicious food. I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to return to Michigan but if I do this is a must hit spot. It sits right on a two-lane coastal "highway," barely 1/4 mile from Lake Michigan, but would just as likely be found in some backwater Alabama swamp (not an insult, just an ambience).
