The crust hits that perfect balance of soft and crisp, the sauce is rich without being heavy, and everything just works together the way it should. It's the kind of pizza that doesn't need hype or over-explaining because one bite pretty much settles it. Honestly, just run don't walk and try it for yourself. Don Petrino's is doing exactly what it's supposed to do: serving food that's consistently good and worth the drive. I only wish they had a location in Grand Rapids, because I'd be there far too often, but for now, Holland is absolutely worth the trip. Thankful for my coworker for putting me on!

They have a food runner that is delivering the pizzas so we didn't interact with the waiter again, no check in, no asking if we wanted another round of drinks. Multiple attempts to flag him down went ignored, I finally grabbed my own to go box for the left overs. I was finally able to get his attention after he made five trips to fill up a water cooler so that we could pay. Food & Drinks great. Service was dreadful.
