    Artichoke spinach dip
    Logan M.

Stopped in for a quick bite and had the spinach artichoke dip, it was super creamy and flavorful. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Was not far from the beach, there was live music, and a great scene! Perfect spot to relax, and wat not far from the water!

About to go on our walk after our not too heavy but very tasty meal

Came here with my 3 buddies and a guy who is 69 (well he is going to be in 1 week but he likes to tell people he is because I think he thinks other people will think it is funny if he tells them he is 69 is his thought) and his wife is two years younger than him. They been together since he was 15. At least that is when they met. I had the lobster crab ravioli and it was really good the vodka sauce was so good that after I finished I asked our waitress Rebecca (not Rebecca black but at first I wished it was but later I realized I was glad we had this Rebecca because she kept refilling my Arnold Palmer which was tasty and she even let me taste test it before I ordered it) what the sauce was. This is when one big laugh came, she said it's vodka sauce and I said, "oh that is why I feel funny". Honestly not one of my better jokes just a normal one but one of my buddy who apparently doesn't get to be around above average funny people often gave it a big laugh and kept laughing. I guess my delivery was fire. The entertainment here is tight. The main singer who's name is Steve I think kept looking at us and coming over to our table and playing with us and let us play instruments and sing up on stage. He was tight. Rock on brother. Bros before ho€s.

Seafood ravioli. Good, looks gross.. but great!

We've been going here for years and I don't understand the hate in some of the reviews. It's great Italian food by West Michigan standards, and for being on the channel and next to ice cream, the amphitheater and the fountain, this is a great spot. The service is generally good. In the busy season they have a lot of student helping out and their experience is limited. But they get it done, try hard and we've never had a serious issue. Foods great.

We were in town for the Coast Guard Festival so things were really busy in town and this restaurant did not look overcrowded so we thought we would try it. They offered us indoor or outdoor seating and when we said indoor initially they said that was a 30 minute wait so we decided to sit outside so we could be seated immediately. The waitress was very sweet and helpful. We decided to split one appetizer and one entree so that we wouldn't have any leftovers. For our appetizer We got spinach artichoke dip and it came with tortilla chips. It was really good and so cheesy. It came with the perfect amount of chips. For our entree we got the shrimp scampi with linguini and the waitress brought it to us already split on two plates which was awesome!! It came with quite a few shrimp and a lot of pasta. The taste was very good and everything was great about our experience. The picture I took was just my plate of food and my friend got the same sized portion.

Stopped by at 8:15 to see if we could snag a quick bite. Possibly the biggest mistake we could've made. Service was slow (20 mins to get a beer, 1 hour to get 2 entrees) and the food was beyond bland. There was no salt or flavor to be found anywhere in the dish. Skip this place. Find a fast food chain. You'll be happier.

    Lobster and Crab Ravioli

First of all, the yelp reviews for this place are not doing it ANY justice. My boyfriend and I were walking down the street and came across this wonderful restaurant. First, we ordered the Porto margarita dip (not pictured because we ate it too fast) which was delicious. Next, we ordered the Chicken Alouette and Lobster Crab stuffed Ravioli. Let me just say, that was the best ravioli I'd ever had. The meat inside the noodles was so soft and tender a that I had to check if it was even stuffed into the noodles (which it was lol). My boyfriend absolutely adored his chicken Alouette and cleaned his plate. Lastly, we ordered the tiramisu for dessert. It was delicious! Shoutout to Sadie for being such a good waitress! She was so nice, down to earth and very attentive to us. Please, give that girl a raise! Yes, the wait for our food was long but it was a busy night and that's to be expected when you have to wait for a table in the first place. It was definitely worth the wait! The only comment I have is that I wish they would serve complimentary bread because I wanted the leftover sauce on my plate haha! Overall, this place does not get the recognition it deserves and I'd highly recommend.

As best this is a three. I would not waste time or money at this place. We were going to split a $17 lasagna. Our waitress explained they are small and most likely would not be enough. Then, I find out its another $5-$7 if you want meat of any type on it. Decided to switch to pizza and cheese bread and house salad. The salad was an Olive Garden mushy salad half filling a plastic bowl to share. Cheese bread was thin french bread with melted cheese on it. The Marina sauce was good. Med. Crust pizza was pretty darn thin for medium although it was good. For the price and flavor there are so many better choices here in Grand Blanc not sure how they stay open.

They have other food too, and you don't have to be a member to eat here. At least for the fish fry, you just can't buy alcohol if you are not a member. I know friends who are members and they have taken me here, and they can purchase the beer for me. It's a silly system, but it might be a Michigan law, IDK. Anyway, on Friday, I called in for a fish dinner. $16. When you go to pick it up, remember it's downstairs, don't go upstairs or you'll end up at some private party. Food review: mediocre. 4 small pieces of perch a small cup of cole slaw, looks like Meijer brand. a small handful of little crinkle cut fries. Also look like Meijer brand. They offer a variety of codiments, cocktail sauce, ketchup, etc. Serve yourself with that. Not very tasty. I'm not in any hurry to go back. I'll check out VFW next time. Then I'll give a review of that place.

It doesn't start till 5PM, we got their early so we could get a good table. We got 4 perch dinners and one chicken. As we waited for our order everyone around us was getting their food. People came in way after us and were getting their dinners before us. After and hour and a half of waiting we finally had enough and flagged down a waitress. She said she would go and check on it and coincidently she came back with the food. I don't know if they forgot about us or what, which is weird since we had a close table. Even when we were waiting to give our order the waitress's just kept passing us by. It wasn't until almost 6:30 that we finally got our food.

I can only review this club as a guest of a wedding that took place here a few weeks ago. There are…read moresome GREAT things about this club as a venue, but the downsides were substantial enough to overtake those. The Good: -the food. Seriously, some of the best wedding food from a country club that I've ever had. The plated dinner was good, but the passed appetizers were PHENOMENAL. I don't think I've ever fallen in love with a mini-reuben. Totally did, though. -the staff/servers were very attentive and brought drinks continuously during the cocktail hour. Super friendly as well. -Very spacious ballroom--huge dance floor, can accompany large weddings. The Bad: -ant infestation? Ok, they probably can't control that, but the wedding was outside and the chairs were CRAWLING with ants. The bride had been told that they would spray prior to the wedding. Apparently, they didn't. -Perhaps this is par for the course, but we were required to take down all the decorations and place settings prior to the end of the reception (apparently there was a wedding there the next day early on). I'd never heard of having to break down the decorations PRIOR to the end of the reception. We tried to hide this from the bride as much as possible. The Ugly: -The bar closes during dinner. Just CLOSES. No warning, nothing. They will give you coffee and water, but nothing else. I thought that this was perhaps my friend's choice, but I came to learn that it's a venue policy. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an alcoholic that HAS to drink continuously during weddings, but a little advanced warning would be nice. If there are cocktails before, it seems strange that they would stop drink service DURING dinner (but then resume it after). Odd.

She seemed very disgenuous. First of all my sister got upcharged for on her contract for the current year's prices when she signed the contract last year when there was nothing on the contract that stated that. She made a stink at the dress rehearsal when we waited in the member's only area and ate some of the snacks nor could we buy beverages from the bar. It's not like we didn't throw down money for the reception there, and neither is it cheap. So, what if we have some nuts, pretzels, and popcorn?! How much did that really cost you to purchase? Seriously, that's still revenue that's generated if I purchase drinks at the bar. It was tough also not to think it was a racial issue, because I feel that we may have been treated differently if we were white. I was honesty worried how the actual ceremony and reception was going to go. The ladies locker room was very nice and spacious. You can find everything in there that a woman could possibly need. The room could probably accomodate 300-400 people. The food was excellent here! The buffet is probably the best I've had at a wedding. The beef was tender and juicy. The chicken also very flavorful. The green beans were cooked right on par, not soft and soggy nor was it raw. I want to not recommend the place because of the person and she's the only point person you can deal with, but the place was great.
