Stopped by Wendy's near CarMAX in south Sacramento and decided to dine in. This location seems new and modern and very clean inside. Service was great. The cashier even helped open the door for the restroom as our toddler couldn't wait. Ordering was easy but better deals online or in the APP, you can get BIGGIE meal deals $5-$8 but we didn't use the APP and paid full price for our combo meals. It was still a great value at full price, everything tasted fresh and large portions. I would definitely come back again if in the area. read more

I ordered the SpongeBob krabby patty kollab meal thru the app and went inside for pick up. They display your order on the screen using your initials and whether it's DoorDash or mobile order. They gave me the pineapple mango frosty first. I wish there was more of the pineapple mango puree and that it was better mixed throughout. Instead it's just a tiny bit of puree on the very bottom of the cup. So once you finish drinking the purée first, then it's just plain vanilla frosty flavor for the rest of the drink. It took a bit of time for my burger and fries to be ready but the fries were hot and fresh. The place could definitely use some cleaning but many fast food chains are not up to par with cleanliness. Please train your new employees better. There is a difference between drive thru pick up and in store pick up on the app. I order through the app for drive thru pick up. Waited in line for 20-25 min., finally got to the front and they told me to park on the side. I double check and ask again, "park on the side?" And the lady said yea. I wait another 15 min before I got fed up and walked inside and she had the nerve to tell me she said to go inside. I'm pretty sure I understand the difference between PARK on the side and GO inside. I don't like them at all. I slowly forgot about Wendy's. They're no longer in my mind anymore! My daughter tell me Wendy's spicy chicken nuggets tasted very good. We decided to order it for lunch. I have not ordered from Wendy's for too many years. I don't know what else should I get from them. So I decided to go inside to place the order at the counter instead of the drive-through. We are the only customer there in front of the register. But they can't take our order. We finally ordered some spicy chicken nuggets and garlic fries to go after 10 minutes of waiting in front of the counter. The foods are ready another 10-15 minutes later! This is almost a record for a fast-food restaurant! The spicy chicken nuggets are okay. The best part is the sweet and sour sauce. But don't waste your money with garlic fries. We basically throw it away! These are the worst garlic fries in my life! I like their dining room. It looks great with all the windows. I got this because I was hungry. But I was pretty impressed. I like the bacon and the cheese. I normally always buy my hamburger without cheese. This one I was ready to accept the cheese. Its pretty good. The bacon was very crispy. The cheese was gooey and delicious. The beef was actually really good. So for you people who joke about square patties, this one was not square. I came today to pick up food. It's by the house so it's convenient and the food isn't bad. I've never had a long wait here when I've come. Today was the same. The bad thing is they're trying to get the order to you so fast that they get it wrong. I pulled up to the window. The lady gave me my total. I paid. She handed me the bag of food and the drink. She then came back with the frosty. I did a quick check and figured everything was in the bag. Then as I was driving away I stuck my hand in the bag to eat a french fry and noticed there was only one order of fries. So I made a u turn at the light and went back. I went back through the drive thru again. I showed the same lady the receipt and said the second order of fries were missing. She asked if they were medium I said no it's another small fry. She got the fries and gave them to me. I got home. I gave my husband his frosty and he said oh they didn't have vanilla. I said yes that's what I ordered. He said it's chocolate and took the lid off. So after having my son since my last review they seem to have picked up the pace. I've been currently obsessed with the bourbon burger which is absolutely the best and I eat it almost every day lol- sometimes depending on what time you go to the wait could be wrong but now it seems that they have improved their speed in the drive-through. Sometimes only two people will be there and that's why it is backed up so maybe they shouldn't schedule only two people during busy hours. Since they have semi-improved I wanted to update my review because I just got notified someone likes my last review so I figured I would come on here and update it. The only thing I don't like is if you go at 11 PM at night the food is never hot. I always have the late night craving for the number nine but for some reason the nighttime workers always have the food cold. Still delicious but no one wants cold food. The next day whenever we go we told the manager and he said not to worry. It just depends who's doing that shift... oh and also I want to add sometimes the workers be in the back having personal conversations while taking the order so they rush the customer so that they can hurry and get back to the conversation. Person over intercom refuses to even acknowledge that it exists; see the photo. Now, I'm pretty disgusted, so I placed my order for two classic chicken sandwiches extra tomato. I received my order no extra tomato. I'm sure I was billed for it but there's extra pickles galore. Just unwrapped second sandwich and behold the extra tomato! Why on one and not both sandwiches?!! What a flaming disappointment! I'm pretty sure I wont be patronising this or another Wendy's in the near future. there is no restriction that applied to me when I tried to place the orderother than the time it is available which is after 8PM which it most certainly was; Presently it is 20:34 (8:34PM). Solid option next door to Costco. I love Costco's food court, but sometimes it's too crowded or lines are too long or whatever. This is the first time I've been to this Wendy's location, and also the first time I've been to any Wendy's in quite awhile. Judging by the changes they've made to the menu since the last time I've been to one, I may very well be hitting Wendy's more often! Sensing an opportunity (and feeling the need) to insert a little "healthy" into my life, I opted for the full sized Power Mediterranean salad. It's probably the best engineered, healthiest salad I've ever seen in a fast food place! It's got grilled chicken, quinoa, hummus, feta cheese, red onion, roasted veggies, and a light balsamic vinaigrette in two packets on the side. I used about one and a half of the packets, and that was plenty. Fresh, good flavor, very few carbs, low cal, a few different protein sources... like I said, well designed! This location seems fairly new-ish, so it was either built or remodeled within the last couple of years (I'd guess). They have the new 2nd gen Freestyle soda machines. Yay coke products! Keeping with tonight's "healthy" theme, I opted for Dasani Lemon-Lime Sparkling water. Pretty hands down healthy meal all around! I defy someone to do better in a major fast food chain!
