Decided to look for a old school burger location. After a few places being closed we ended up here at Frosty Queen. Burgers are flavorful and tasty. Reminded me of an old A&W burger. Onion rings are good and the fries were as well. Everything is made to order fresh and hot! Staff is friendly and fast. My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment. They specialize in burgers sandwiches and shakes. I finally got the chance to order their Dubai milkshake, which included pistachio kanafi, chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream. The portion size was great. The overall shake was not too sweet, which I like. Everything overall was very well balanced. I ordered the pastrami melt and my husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which again was very well balanced flavors. The overall experience was great. Good soft serve ice cream is getting difficult to find...especially chocolate ice cream, and this spot doesn't disappoint! Though I've never tried their food, I always come for a cone. The large is huge for less than five dollars and you can also get ice cream in a cup. I got to try this place through Door Dash. They were very quick, and I was surprised by the amount that was given. The Chicken Cheesesteak was made as an open face sandwich, but it showed that they gave a lot of protein. The sandwich was so big, it sorta broke, so I had to eat some of my sandwich with a fork. I only stopped in the drive-thru for a ice cream cone. It was 2 bucks or so for the regular cone. I've eaten good here in the past, its your typically fast food joint. I wish they would update their drive-thru through menu because it's very hard to read. Fries crispy but still not completely cooked . The Rubin? Well it was pretty good. I ate 1/2 and saved for later. The meat is all diced up on grilled bread. It's a small sandwich. Especially for the cost. Small but decent, I'm going to have to try again. That's why only a 3 star; small sandwich, expensive bill . Yeh expensive, I think my sandwich, fries sand frosty $21 . Warning: My post is kind of long and I never leave reviews but I felt like this one was necessary. The food was surprisingly good. We got the five patty burger and two other burgers which were yum. The only thing was the service. We went last Sunday 3/1 after the carnival and the first person who helped us was very kind. She was brunette, very welcoming. The second girl was rude. She was a dirty blonde with a brown shirt that said "love what you do." There were 5 of us and we were a few steps away from the register, still looking at the menu. The blonde girl comes up and asks us if we were ready, to which my boyfriend replied that we needed a little more time. Then she says with the biggest attitude, "I need to know if you're ready because if you're not then I have other things to do." Mind you, we were there 2 hours before closing and had already told her politely that we needed time. So my boyfriend felt pressured and started ordering. Then when our drinks came out she tossed it on the counter and told us, with an attitude, " there's your drinks." I didn't even order anything because her attitude was off putting. We had a long day at our son's state tournament and our kids were hungry and we decided what we had thought would be a great idea to try this place. As I was trying to order Jasmine was giving us an attitude after trying to start my order. This place lost money we decided to leave and I did tell the employee she had a bad attitude to cancel my order and let her know that caused us to leave. For a typical diner style drive-through food...it's absolutely amazing. I love the fact that they don't serve any pork products. The bacon is beef. I really like how they have an array of different items you can order from hamburgers to burritos, fried fish, pastrami sandwiches, Philly-steak sandwiches, fried okra, fried pickles, grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken nuggets, banana splits, ice cream cones, sundaes and of course my favorite Shrimp Salad. They have a large menu. They do charge a credit card fee on .50 cents which is illegal to do in the state of California so they should really be careful with that. When I called to let them know my sandwich was missing I was told they made sure it was there when the dasher picked it up. And I double and tripled check the two bags and nope boo sandwich. And they told me there was nothing they could do. To talk to door dash. When really all I wanted was it to be made and have a dasher bring another one. So really think to contact the better business bureau and report the store. Or even go as far to report to a corporate or owner of need be. The food is always hot and good but today my husband and I stopped in to eat lunch before his doctor's appt. As I was reviewing the receipt while waiting for our food I noticed we were overcharhed by $1 on my meal. The menu said that a 2 piece chicken basket was $7.99 but on the receipt I was charged $8.99. I brought the discrepancy up to the cashier and all she could say was that the register tells her what to charge and then just stood there. I asked for a manager and he came to the counter and looked at the register and told me we need to change our prices on the menu. Most customer service oriented businesses will usually honor the price listed. We were going to order dessert to go but I told my husband I'd rather not cause of the way the situation was handled and I don't trust their pricing. I tried their medium pastrami fries which did not hold back in portion and flavor. The fries had a sweet, peppery topping of pastrami and ooey, gooey, cheese.
