Food 4.5/5 We got course B Appetizers: - KFC had a good crunch and flavor. nutty sweet sauce with a crispy batter. Tender and moist. - Truffle salmon tartare had a prominent truffle aroma. Lots of avocado. Creamy and refreshing flavor with a nice presentation. Rolls - Popcorn shrimp roll had lots of textures going on. Strong mayo flavor, can be a bit overpowering. Would've liked it if there was more shrimp. - Kiss of fire roll had mild spice, lots of crab compared to other rolls. Most "seafoody" taste of the other rolls we had. - Spider roll is a solid pick if craving soft shell crab. Had a wider circumference compared to other rolls. Nigiri: - This is the main attraction for me. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the nigiri at the Roseville location so I was excited to come here for this. I would say the quality, care, and presentation (as well as the service) isn't quite up to par with what I've experienced at Roseville, but it's still very good and a cut above any other sushi AYCE I've been to (which I think is fitting considering it is more pricey, especially if you get course B or course C). Service 3.5/5 Food came out quick. Our primary server Will was friendly and on top of it. I did get the vibe that some of the workers in general are still in the process of gaining experience and thus are a bit more awkward/shy (or perhaps they're just young and I'm getting old); however, they were professional and attentive (frequently and consistently refilling our waters and clearing our table of plates). Aesthetic 4/5 Very spacious and lots of seating in comparison to the Roseville location (Wait time was shorter than Roseville location as well). Modern design and decor.

This may be the review with two parts. I am immunocompromised, so all of the dishes I ordered had to be cooked in some way or another. I ordered tamago, a fried Philadelphia roll, teriyaki salmon, grilled mackerel, and steamed rice. Everything I ordered came out pretty well, and our server was prompt and took the time to answer questions. I would say for a non-RAW eater, there was a wide amount of dishes to try in the all you can eat ordering system. My wife got the opposite....orders almost entirely of raw seafood...too many to name. She said overall, good quality, and not overloaded with rice. She would return,.and she LOVES sushi So, if you love sushi as well, you may like it too

First time at this location and I'll probably stick to their sister location, Pier 50. As you probably know, service in that area is weak, so I asked if they could provide the Wi-Fi password, but apparently employees aren't allowed to share it. I've honestly never run into that before anywhere else. We were planning to do the C option because we specifically wanted sashimi, but for $50 the sashimi selection was extremely limited mostly just carpaccio-style pieces. For that price, I expected a much better variety and portion of sashimi. It felt overpriced for what was offered. At Pier 50, I could spend the same amount and actually get a satisfying sashimi experience. Pretty disappointing overall.

Came here for mothers day. Our server was Aaron who was great! Super attentive and explained everything that we needed to know. Were waited in line rough 30 minutes prior to the resturant early and were probably like the 5th table that was seated. At first the service of the food was very slow. I didn't time it exactly but I think it took like 25-30 minutes for our first order of Nigiri to come out! We were able to get appetizers quicker but it was a minute to get what we were mainly therefore. But after a hour of the restaurant being open it felt like the service was speeding up. That being said everything tasted great and fresh! My surprisingly new favorite was the shrimp lollipops! It seems like a new menu item at this location. My favorite nigiri cut was the sake (salmon) and probably unagi.

This place is still pretty new, but it's already our favorite AYCE sushi spot. Plenty of parking by the cinemas. Busy nights usually have a wait, but they text you when your table's ready, so no need to stand around. We were quoted an hour and only waited 30 minutes. The vibe is modern with low lighting, though it does get packed. Our server, CC, was amazing. She was super fun, informative, and enthusiastic. We did the green tier AYCE and loved everything. Highly recommend the yellowtail collar, unagi nigiri, soft shell crab, bulgogi fries, lychee sherbet (had small bits), and Uber tayaki. All the nigiri overall did not disappoint. Also loved that there are sinks outside the individual unisex restrooms, making it easy to wash up without waiting for a bathroom. This was our first time here and definitely will not be our last.

There's 3 Courses you can get. We chose Course B ($41.95 per person). This place is the best AYCE in the Sac area right now. Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 - Plenty of seating and decent sized tables Food 5/5! Some notable dishes were the bulgogi fries, soft shell crab, yellowtail collar, takoyaki, crispy shrimp lollipop, salmon nigiri, salmon belly. Amazing food with good value. I'm coming here again for my birthday next!

I was excited that It's Sushi opened a location closer to Elk Grove, so we decided to visit on Mother's Day. We arrived around 12:15 p.m. but weren't seated until nearly 2:00 p.m. I expected a longer wait because of the holiday, but it was confusing to see around 10 empty tables when we arrived and still about the same number while we were waiting to be seated. The restaurant itself is very spacious, comparable in size to Pier 50 in Arden, and the lighting inside is excellent. Our server was decent, though it seemed like he wasn't fully paying attention while taking our order since we received an item we hadn't requested. On the positive side, the food came out fairly quickly, and the quality was consistent with the Roseville location. One downside was the poor cell reception in the area -- offering Wi-Fi would definitely improve the experience. Also, the Fukumi Group has brought back their passport promotion and added three new locations. Guests who collect stamps from all nine participating locations can earn a $150 gift card. They also have a promotion where you receive a $50 bonus gift card when purchasing a $200 gift card. Definitely a great deal!

AYCE sushi that's great for big groups and if you are a nigiri fan. We usually get course B which includes the nigiri. I appreciate the little rice they put in the nigiri so you are not just stuffing yourself with rice. Their menu is very large so there is something for everyone. Kind of pricey but if you come hungry you can get your money's worth. The staff were very friendly and even reminded us of the dessert being included when we were checking out. It is definitely a great place to go to if you are looking for medium quality sushi.

Went on a Thursday evening and it took over 40 minutes for a table. Front desk told us 15 minutes and then proceeded to laugh and say it'll take another 15 minutes about couple times. The food was a hit or miss. I got the yuzu yellowtail and was disappointed, the fish didn't taste fresh. The best few I had was the spicy octopus nigiri and the super white tuna nigiri. The rolls were all basically California rolls with different toppings. All really dry with hella rice. Just stick to the nigiri and the hand rolls. One of us got a fried roll but it was mainly tempura batter and rice with a California roll inside, no sauce. Dessert was disappointing, they took our orders then told us 15 minutes later they ran out of more than half the dessert menu. For the price, the service needs to be faster. They kept taking our order when our previous two orders hadn't even arrived yet. You're better off going to Pier 50 in Arden! SIDE NOTE: the bathroom are gender neutral! All open sinks with 3 bathrooms. It's DISGUSTING! Go run to fire wings or tastea

Service: 10000/10 Food: 9/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Aaron and Lana were absolutely amazing. They made eating AYCE fun. We had course A and there were a ton of options to choose from on the menu. Would definitely come back again!

I'm so excited that we have a great sushi place at Delta Shores now. This potentially can get me in trouble since I live less than 10 minutes away. Located next to the theater and across from Tastea, there's plenty of parking in the surrounding areas. We came on a Friday at 5 PM and had about a 20 minute wait for a table of 3. The restaurant is pretty large, plenty of seating for groups of 4 or less. Not sure if it's great for bigger parties. The place can get pretty loud but despite being super busy, service was consistent during our visit. You can order à la carte to go or dine in. They're known for their AYCE but you can pay à la carte as well. For AYCE, there is a fee if you're unable to finish your food and there's a 90 minute time limit. There's a suggestion to order a little at a time but the only problem when it's busy (and if you order rolls), the orders get pretty backed up. I lost track of how many rolls I ordered since it took a while to get our food. Our waiter suggested we order another round while we waited and I was starving so I made the mistake of over ordering (the rice really fills you up). I am definitely coming back again and making sure I have a better ordering strategy (order all the nigiri first, then rolls and other plates is my recommendation). Pros: staff were friendly and we were able to get service consistently while waiting in between orders. Our waiter was very patient in answering my questions, even when I asked him 3 times to confirm how many rolls I ordered. The rolls are huge so I definitely don't recommend ordering too many rolls at a time if you have a small party. If you really want to get your money's worth, order the soft shell crab or any of the grilled fish Honestly, you get your money's worth ordering the nigiri in my opinion. Fish is fresh and overall, I enjoyed the rolls we ordered. I was way too stuffed because it just was too much rice Cons: since orders took awhile to fill, it's easy to lose track of how much you order.

Love their sister restaurant so we were super excited this one finally opened. We didnt even realize we came on the second day of their grand opening! We came for a slightly later lunch on Saturday and there was no wait for a table. There were a good number of tables but it wasn't packed like we heard dinner was. Service was always super friendly and quick. Our waitress was super sweet! The food came out quickly, no missed items but they were still figuring some things out so we did get a few extras we didnt order but we definitely didnt mind. For their second day of opening things were running pretty well. We got the B Course and liked everything we got! The fish quality was good and the nigiri had a good ratio of fish to rice. All the apps were delicious and the fried stuff was perfectly crispy. We didnt try any rolls as we preferred nigiri, but the ones we saw walking by looked great! Love that we can come here as it's a bit closer so this will definitely become a regular spot!

Its Sushi, an AYCE sushi restaurant by Fukumi group, opened at Delta Shores, next to the Regal movie theater and across from Tastea. Even though they just opened, business was really good, even on a rainy, stormy weekend. Luckily, we came early for dinner and didn't have to wait for a table. There were three dining options and we opted for Course B, $41.95, which included nigiri. We enjoyed a lot of salmon nigiri, some yellowtail, and a bit of tuna. My favorite was the salmon belly, which you could only get one order (2 pieces) of per person. The regular salmon was second best. The garlic salmon was good too, but it had a pinch of heat. The shiro salmon was not bad and came with onions on top. I really liked the yuzu yellowtail and regular yellowtail. The super white tuna and octopus were both good. The ratio of fish to rice was very good with plenty of fish and a small portion of rice. For non-nigiri items, we ordered corn cheese, soft shell crab, truffle salmon tartare, spicy garlic edamame, and ultimate bulgogi fries. The truffle salmon was really good because you can taste the truffle in the salmon. It comes over a tower of rice and avocado making it a little big and filling. The soft shell crab was good. We really liked the spicy garlic edamame! It had great flavor, but they give you a lot. The ultimate bulgogi fries were not bad, but way too much and filling. Its Sushi was generous with the fish, but stingy with the desserts. We were only allowed one dessert per person. I ordered the lychee sherbet, which was tasty and refreshing. We wanted vanilla ice cream and sesame balls, but could only order one so we got the sesame balls. The restaurant was nicely designed with plenty of seating indoors. Our waitress was very nice and polite. The bathrooms were nicely designed, but kind of dirty as the auto flush didn't work well and the manual flush was hard to push. Great AYCE sushi restaurant for nigiri sushi.

I don't know why people are complaining about the service. Great service! Fast and attentive and other servers asking if we needed anything. The down point was for the smell and the floor. It had a cleaner smell that I don't care for from my days in restaurant work. The floor was sticky despite the cleanser. Basic strip mall with great parking.

My friend watched the waitress stack the 5 trays and left to process payment. Waitress returned and told them she was missing one payment. The party insisted that they all paid. The manager came to the table and told them they had to pay before they leave. Again, the party insisted they all paid. One of the ladies asked,"Are you saying that we're lying? There's security cameras in this room. Go review the footage and you can see the proof that we all paid and the waitress took the trays." Apparently the security cameras weren't functioning as he wouldn't look at the footage. The manager wanted to charge the missing payment to the person who used a charge card for her payment and the group told him that was not acceptable. The dispute went on for 30 minutes and customers at a near by table kept turning around and looking at us. The manager stepped away again and returned shortly with the missing payment saying that he found it under the cash register! There was no true apology, no effort to compensate the group for the embarrassing behavior and accusations. Clearly it was the waitress' mistake and she didn't apologize to the group. This is unacceptable behavior from the manager. Knowing this happened yesterday, I will no longer dine at Akebono. Very poor customer service.

As we waited for our orders I stepped away to wash my hands, and came back to the delicious looking bowl pictured. Karaage chicken is one of my favorite dishes at my favorite Japanese restaurant, and this Karaage Ramen had a perfect crispiness to it. The Ramen broth was also very flavorful and has a nice little punch of Spicy to it, with the addition of the chili oil; nothing too hot. Overall: Great spot for good Ramen. Will definitely have to come back again for more.

The karaage is a different style than I was used to, which wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad. The broth of the ramen isn't the richest, but it's good. The sushi was surprisingly good and refreshing. The rice and ingredients felt fresh. Generally, pretty good Japanese for the area. The whole meal felt pretty expensive-- it's 12 dollars for takoyaki, which feels a bit pricey for what you get.
