This is a new sushi spot that just open and if you're looking for all you can eat this is the spot to go to. I'm so glad there is a sushi restaurant in South Sacramento on Stockton Boulevard in the same Plaza as SF Market. . The service was really quick with bringing out the food and the drinks and even the bill and refilling our Waters. . To Ambiance is casual and kid's friendly also there is plenty of seating too. . We got a lot of Sashimi to your dumplings which you can cook it in three different styles pan fry or boiled or deep fried. They also have great edamame which was steamed and not salted which I like. They also have teriyaki chicken which was grilled to perfection. They also have your slice Sashimi with salmon and masago. I like their house salads and their miso soup. Also I do love the quail eggs and their topico with the squid ink. For the sushi rolls you can do half roll or the full roll. They also have soft shell crab which had a thick panko crust to it. I also really like their avocado salad without the dressing and their scallop nigiri. . Overall it was around $40 per person and it comes with sashimi and your sushi rolls and sushi nigiri. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading and have a yelp-tastic day.

Soft shell crab. Coating is too thick. Stuffed jalapeño. So good!

Finally, an AYCE sushi restaurant in Sacramento that isn't too far from me. Came here while they are still doing their soft opening. The food was great. Everything was fresh and of quality. Service was also good. My little family came here on a Friday evening. I was surprised to find it not busy since it's located in one of the busiest plazas in Sac. Their AYCE is simple. You pay based on age and get everything on the menu, except drinks. Drinks are extra, but I think it's free refills. Majority of the items come in an order of one, so you'll tell them how many orders you want. I prefer it that way because sometimes I just want one piece of the item and not a set of 4. Would I like to see more items on their menu? Yes! *cough* OYSTERS *cough* But for what they do have, I would come back.

So excited to have Sake closer to home! We've been to the Rancho Cordova location but this one is much closer and it seems even better! Not sure if it's because it's their soft opening but the quality of the fish was really fresh. I hope they keep up with the quality of the food. Service was attentive, nice, and efficient! We really enjoyed our server, I didn't get her name but she was sweet and let us know what her favorites were on the menu. Inside is huge! So much seating compared to the other location and bonus points because they have music playing and karaoke! I hope they can keep up with the cleanliness too.. Dinner is $39.99 and Lunch is $20.99 - If you know how to All You Can Eat correctly... you definitely get a bang for your buck. Everything was so yummy.

Came for the lunch buffet. The server was quick and there to explain items on the menu. I liked the seared salmon the most! They have a large variety of rolls and appetizers. Would definitely want to come back to try the dinner menu. It was spacious with many tables even for large parties.

My cousins took me here for my birthday in September, it was soo satisfying that I went back again the next week with my friends. I'm so glad to have something in the heart of south Sacramento ! If you're a sashimi lover like me , this place is golden. My sashimi bowls at restaurants are already $30-$40 for one order.... The AYCE is very worth it. They have great selections such as soft shells crab and short ribs ! The service there is very friendly. I have gone to places where they watch u like a hawk and don't allow u to order unless all ur food is gone. My only complaint is they don't have beer/sake yet ! Ambiance was comforting ! I will be back again. They have a birthday special as well.

The service was beyond wonderful. The staff were very attentive and sweet! Everyone made sure we were well taken care of. They also offered to let us do karaoke which was so kind of them. The sushi was spot on. Our favorite thing was the rice to fish ratio. As you can see from the pictures, the rice was not packed on. Since the rolls had less rice, we were able to try more rolls and nigiri without feeling overly stuffed. We will absolutely be coming back with friends and family! Another perk is that the restaurant is right next to SF Supermarket so you can get your grocery shopping done afterwards!

Sweet shrimp and scallop

I came here twice once for lunch and once for dinner. Both were excellent options and price value is great. Sushi quality was overall more than I expected to be. Definitely go back again. Would we have special occasions or craving for all you can eat sushi

Absolute 5-star experience! If you love sushi, do not skip this place. The sashimi is incredibly fresh with no smell, the staff are super friendly, and the comfortable chairs make for a relaxed, enjoyable meal. Perfect place to bring the family!

Spicy Garlic Edamame

Dropped by with my wife for the grand opening since we really liked the Rancho location but it is a bit of a drive. This was a lot closer and we were pretty excited. Sashimi was very fresh and the appetizers were excellent. Favorite items were the pepperfin style sashimi, jalapeño hamachi, and bbq short rib. The menu was pretty big so we couldn't try everything we wanted. Service was excellent and I really liked the interior. Plenty of seating with a lot of space between tables. Dinner is 39.99 a person and we felt it was more than worth it since we left with food babies.

We love trying new things on the menu every time we go, and honestly, everything we've had has been delicious. You really can't go wrong here! I also have to give a huge shoutout to Raef, who made our experience even more special! He was the friendliest and most attentive server we've had so far. He was on top of everything, constantly making sure we had everything we needed and that our drinks and food were coming out on time. His service was truly exceptional! We had such a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary here, and we'll definitely be back soon! :)

I walked inside having no idea that it was going to be a top quality experience. The restaurant was huge and it was packed at 5 PM. We couldn't get a table so we sat at the sushi bar, and there was plenty of room there. Plus watching all of the chefs put together the Omakase offerings was really cool. We opted for the Japanese cauliflower curried soup, the black cod special, the king Roll, the watermelon and mint salad and the shrimp and corn dumpling. Every single dish was FIRE!!! The flavors were delicate and nuanced and perfectly balanced. Even the frisée lettuce on the watermelon and mint salad was a flavor explosion. We found ourselves drinking the sauce out of the bowl from the shrimp and corn dumpling. The croutons in the curried cauliflower soup were crispy on the outside and buttery on the inside. The black cod was the texture of a scallop and the squash purée set it off just right. The king Roll was a marvel to see and absolutely a delight to eat. I loved that little hint of lemon that accented the crab and lobster flavors. 1000% recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys really damn good food. Craziest part of the meal was the cost, it was incredibly reasonably priced, not overpriced, like most restaurants of this caliber. We will definitely be back. Thank you Kru for making my special occasion even more special!

It wasn't just fish on rice It was sushi and rice with some seaweed and crushed sweet root Ultimate test was the sake and Uni I hate cold sake. It was nice and hot. Warmed my hands like you'd want after walking in from a cold walk in the snow. The Uni tasted like I'd been walking in my boots on Kodiak Island and picked up a sea urchin to dig out the eggs and ate it on the spot Uni was from Japan, but it tasted as fresh as I've ever had while walking a beach in hip boots. I wish I lived in Sacramento. I would be here regularly. It's sad. I'll probably only get here once a year. Bonus! I read the history of the restaurant And it warms my heart to know that I patronized a place that has a history of personal sacrifice and Toil to make a wonderful place for people to congregate and enjoy a fantastic meal Again, I appreciate it that is less American and more Japanese at the bar Thank you.

TT stood out because it was fresh, tasty, and a good portion size. Some places make small pieces or use way too much rice. Not here. We started with the Special Scallops appetizer. Lots of fresh scallops in a little bit of chili oil with micro greens. The scallops were real scallops and not the small, chewy bay scallops. The texture was great and the scallops were fresh and the dab of chili oil brought out that yummy flavor. We ordered 4 rolls and were stuffed. We all thought they were a great value because of the size, the fish to rice ratio, sauce that accented the fish instead of replacing the flavors, and just a good value for the price. I really enjoyed them all but the soccer named CR7 and Very Messi rolls where my favorites. East Sac and Sunshine are refreshing with a touch of lemon. Of the two, I enjoyed East Sac more. The restaurant was packed even for a Saturday lunch. Good thing we made reservations. They are on the AMEX Resy app and it is definitely worth making the reservation if you get the credit. They don't take same-day reservations. They have a patio, dining room, and sushi bar. We all loved it and it was approved by my two high school daughters. We'll be heading back.

I feel like if a restaurant is empty, you should be more attentive to the only customers you have. Fish quality was bad considering for their prices. I am not sure if its because its in the "happy hour" but pepperfin was clearly not fresh and old + rubbery. A roll that was ordered was the same. Just because an item is in the happy hour menu, does not mean quality should be less fresh, old and terrible. Fresh fish is always important considering it is raw! Restaurant was nice, quiet, and clean. Just highly disappointed that we spent almost $80 including a very good tip even for a mid-service + the food being not at its worth it price.
