We celebrated my daughter's birthday at Ebisu, and enjoyed a bento box and a roll. Starting off with the miso soup really hit the spot for me. My bento box choices was teriyaki chicken and mixed tempura. I love the lightness of the batter on the tempura so the shrimp and vegetables really stand out, and the teriyaki chicken was really moist with the perfect amount of sauce. My daughter really enjoyed the mochi ice cream birthday surprise, and the service is excellent. She's always so friendly, personable and efficient. We love that we are able to sit back, relax and take our time with our meal. I really like the lobster roll, with the lobster pieces.

Good fresh sushi! Definitely hit the spot. Came here on a Saturday, around 5:30 and was surprised there was no wait. Our server was super friendly and great! Food of excellent and the oyster shots were on point!

If you're looking to switch up your usual sushi spot in Elk Grove, Ebisu is definitely worth a visit! Came here on a Saturday night expecting a crowd, but surprisingly it was pretty calm and we were seated right away. The space itself is huge, super clean, and has a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal. Service was also a highlight, everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. We went all in on the menu and ordered the fresh oysters (half with uni, half regular), double toro roll, Ebisu roll, tonkatsu ramen, and the sushi taco. Honestly... everything was sooo good. You can really tell the quality of the fish here is top-tier. The standout of the night was easily the double toro roll- so buttery, rich, and perfectly balanced. Every bite just melted in your mouth. That alone is worth coming back for. For a first visit, Ebisu definitely made a strong impression. Between the quality, service, and overall experience, I'd absolutely come back to explore more of the menu!

Came in on a Friday night and it was pretty busy but we got sat right away without a wait. Ordered the teriyaki and sesame chicken entrees. They brought out my fiancés food first, and mine finally like 15 mins later. They must've forgotten about mine because by the time mine came out, the chicken was piping hot but the veggies on the plate were already cold. Not even room temperature, but just cold. My fiancé was literally already done eating by that time. I was pretty disappointed but didn't want to make a fuss. Service was moving slow, no one ever checked on us. I wasn't impressed this time. Sauce was also a little salty today. Hope it's better next time.

Came by on a Friday night around 6pm and we were seated quickly as a party of two. Seemed they had a larger birthday party in a private room but this did not slow down service. We ordered the Sacramento, caterpillar, spider and lobster rolls, which are all cooked rolls. We also got the gesso and soft shell crab as appetizers. Half of our rolls came out before the appetizers did. Staff were good about clearing plates out of the way as we finished. Enjoyed all the food but I'd probably ask for less sauce on the sushi rolls next time.

Stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday night to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday, we love coming here. The sashimi is always so fresh. I absolutely love the Oturo & Chutoro & definitely the oysters with uni. Staff is always friendly especially Andy! I'm positive I'll be back real soon again

Bc of their coupon in the EG Marketplace flyer we only knew about this restaurant. We actually visited it prior to those coupons with friends though. Am I making sense? Of course not! I know. Silly me! lol Their food is decent but better in house to tell you the truth. Lots of parking in their huge lot & service is fast & convenient. We like the chill ambiance & it's very relaxing here. We prefer eating in the restaurant just bc to go well you know what happens. It's just not the same. I think they know us here as frequent as we have been here!!! My favorite is the chirashi bowl & my wife likes the steak chimichurri with steamed veggies. It's truly delicious. Reluctantly to write reviews bc once the word gets out it gets too busy! Oh the first time we were here that humongous sushi roll was cool to see!!! I remembered my wife ordering the chicken teriyaki & it was totally immersed with sauce so ask for sauce on the side! Mark my words!

We got the omakase board for 2, the server recommended since they just came out with the special menu! The value of this board is amazing! We got so much food for $90! We couldn't finish the rolls and had to pack it. The fish quality was very fresh and everything tasted delicious. The most recent time I went, the quality was not there. The nigiri set I got was just salmon, tuna, and hamachi. There was not a lot of variety and the bluefin tuna trio, my friends got was terrible. I'm hoping it was just an off day for them!

My first time visiting this restaurant. Nice size to accommodate small and large groups. We were seated right away. Menu offered a different variety of items that I dont normally see. So if you're being adventurous with raw fish, its the place for you. Service was decent and food was really good. It felt like we ordered everything. -Green tea -Gyoza -Bbq spare ribs -Teriyaki chicken -Beef Teriyaki -Lobster roll

Service was phenomenal! Our waitress was consistent on checking up on us, refilling our beverages, and overall just really friendly. The food was equally just as phenomenal. We got a few rolls, oysters, clay rice pot. Everything was fresh, lots of flavor, and sauced very well. Their presentation was also really beautiful. I tried things I would definitely order next time. The restaurant is pretty roomy and quiet when it's not busy, and it was very clean and decorated nicely.

Tried EBISU today 1/7/2026. We had nigiri/sashimi combo, truffle hamachi and tonkutso ramen. Ramen- it's okay my tea is hotter than ramen broth. Tea egg seems pickled for long time.( I don't recommend) Super combo( nigiri and sashi plus Ebisu roll) mediocre nigiri and sashimi both did not stand out for both me and my husband. Truffle hamachi- my husband loves truffle scent he likes it place is okay . Customer service is great very friendly. Good we tried but not going back..

My husband and I went on a little date night the other day. We came to probably our newest and best sushi spot we've had in a while! Everything was so fresh and came out quickly. We were seated quickly, (arrived around 4pm), we were given water and asked about appetizers. We ordered Pepper fin, 2 oyster shooters, 2 orders of salmon nigiri (amazing!!!) and miso soup. The two rolls we shared were HW-5 and double toro roll (recommended by our server, so delicious) !! Both were absolutely AMAZING! Everything really was so good. We are definitely coming back soon!!

Had a great date night here. Hadn't been in a while. The food is still as good as ever. We definitely enjoyed the sushi roll and pepperfin the most. Service was fast for a week night and it wasn't super busy. Def would go again soon.

Dont get it twisted, this restaurant is not attempting to create a fusion restaurant. My interpretation is that they want to present to their customers with well crafted, delicious food. And that's exactly what we got. I was surprised to see a very well thought out second dining area. Very lux airport loungy-feel. The wait staff attire was not cheesy at all. They looked elegant and presented food with friendliness and great service. We happened to visit on a Friday night where they had a live band. Music wasnt loud or annoying from where we were sitting but great background music as we ate. They offer 3,4 or 5 course options or you can choose items a-la-cart. We decided on 3-course meal. My plan was to try different items on the menu. If you are well versed in flavor profiles, you're able to see the different items actually can mix. My only suggestion is the menu should be presented a little better. Paper menu doesn't match the vibe of everything else. Everything we ordered was delicious. I love to travel and the aviation/airport lounge concept was intriguing and stood out to me. As soon as we sat down, we were offered hot towels service. Very nice! We shared a bunch of dishes and they were all pretty good. Nicely presented and good portion. The dish that took me by surprise was the Golden Nest Steak, which was recommended by our server. It was tender, flavorful with fresh ingredients. The crispy nest was a nice touch and elevated the dish. I also enjoyed the complementary vegetable eggroll at the beginning. Our server was dressed in a flight attendant uniform and used a rolling cart to bring out our dishes. I thought that was cute and emphasize the feel of being on the airplane and dining in the sky sort of thing. I have to give them an A for effort.

There's no posted menu up front but there are plenty of handheld menus to pick up and glance at. It seems like they have a rotating menu, we came for lunch but they only serve breakfast on Sundays. They also have other fluctuating things such as what kind of agua fesca, side salad, or fruit is available for the day. Although it would have been nice to know what the daily rotating items were before ordering we didn't feel like we were shorted or disappointed in the options we had. I also feel like I'm more intrigued to return on a day they serve lunch or other drink options! Chilaquiles had a lot of flavor but they didn't uphold the crunch of the chip very well. All eggs were served runny which I love but my partner isn't into. (Luckily for me I just got two eggs). Chicken sandwich was the best food item by far. The crunch of the chicken was amazing and overall it was cooked perfectly. The pepper on top was a great little spicy snack in between bites. The drinks were awesome. The horchata coffee was amazing, the sangria was so tasty, and the melon aqua Fresca was perfectly refreshing for our Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was clean and had a nice open space so It didn't feel too crowded. We already decided we would be back to try lunch options in the future.

Cut into a different part of steak just to make sure, also rare. When I showed our server she agreed it was rare and took it back to the kitchen. She comes back after talking to the kitchen and tells me the cook said its not rare, its just the marinade that makes it look dark. I'm like, "huh?" Cause that made no sense to me. Still they cooked the same steak another 5-7 minutes before bringing it back. Now it was a perfect medium. It was obvious they just threw the same steak back on the grill, the 2 cuts i made were still visible. All was good till our server came back to check on us, she asked how the steak came out, when I said it was perfect, she continues to insist it was medium well when I sent it back based on what the kitchen told her, several times she made excuses and would not once admit or own up to the mistake despite me showing her the cut piece of steak on my plate. I get it, most of the food here is seafood that's boiled in a plastic bag, but if you're gonna sell a 45$ steak on the menu, at least train your staff properly.

Each boil had a snow crab claw ( with four legs), approximately 10 shrimps, plenty of sausage, a potato, and a hard boiled egg. I came across edamame under appetizers. Based on the description, I ordered it. I love me some spicy edamame, especially when it's seasoned very well. I got my order to go, got home and when I opened the edamame, it was not what I expected. It was sitting in liquid. The description of the edamame under appetizers says nothing about it being in any kind of liquid or sauce. So I revisited the establishment tonight, which is Friday (the next day). I explained to the employee taking my order what I expected based on the description on the menu and what I got. I even showed her pictures. She said she's never seen edamame made that way (not in sauce) even though there's a picture of it being made that way under their Yelp profile. There was no attempt to rectify the situation so I left it be but it is a bit disheartening to order something with a specific description, then you get home and your order is not what you thought it would be and then there is no recourse provided. Based on this experience, my tip for future patrons is to ensure you get clarification on an item if you are trying it for the first time because it might not come in the same way it is described on the menu. I've been in contact with some very personable employees here who are amazing when it comes to customer service so I will definitely be back. When you get to the stand, there are two lines. The first line you want to get into is the one nearest the big containers where the fish on ice or crabs are kept. If you want your fish filleted, let them know. It is a complimentary service. Then you head into the other line to pay. They take cash and card, I'm not sure about other payment types. Keep in mind, the inventory sells quickly especially the seasonal items. Folks queue up earlier than the opening time stated in the texts. The start time was 10am; I got there at 10:20 am. They sold out as I was leaving the stand. Anthony (owner and fishing captain), his wife, and team are terrific. They all were helpful and had the best attitudes. Welcoming. I'm sure they answer the same questions over and over. But when talking with each customer, they were engaged and provided individual attention. Top notch customer service!

I love buying fish from Anthony. Why? The fish is always ocean fresh & tastes amazing. Prices are…read morereasonable. And Anthony? The guy is a superb human being who works hard to put the tasty, fresh fish on the table for others, including me & my family. And he makes it conveniently available in West Sacramento. What's not to love?
