Craving for orange chicken for lunch
    Annie Y.

Not sure if I agree with the sad two stars. I've picked up food from this location several times. Especially, when I don't have time to cook or when I'm dropping off a package at FedEx next door. The service is always friendly and quick. The food meets Panda Express standards. I typically will order online and pick-up, because I'm always running against the clock. The family meal is a great deal. It comes with 2 large sides & 3 large entrees that can feed up to 3-4 people. Orange chicken and Kung Pao Chicken are my favorite. My boys like the Broccoli Beef. Not a big fan of the new plant base dishes. It's quick and convenient for those weeknights that you're too busy to cook and need to get dinner on the table.

Thought I am happy that Panda Express now has a mobile app with rewards, I still believe they could do better with food portions. I've noticed that the servings keep getting smaller and smaller when you order. Chinese food has and always been a staple for bang for your buck savings. Bu the way they ration their food is getting out of hand. They will scoop an order that you choose and if they think they over scooped, they will take it away from you. Does one extra small piece of chicken make a big difference if they added it accidentally? C'mon now.

Great tasting food, nice and friendly staff. The portions served were good and bathrooms very clean. I would definitely come back to this location

This isn't the first place I think of when I want Chinese food but my husband loves it so we keep coming. The customer service here is ok... I've never had an issue. I have ordered delivery twice since Covid and both times something was missing and the food was cold. It's better to order online and pickup or go in the store, so you can check the order and see how fresh the food is.

They don't give you much food at this one. They give small portions. I like Panda, but not this store.

Jollibee is STILL the best fried chicken! I said what I said!…read more I know there are more locations opening in our region, Roseville n Elk Grove but South Sac Jollibee will always WIN! I have been very lucky to have this gem in my side of Sac! I know a lot people from all over Sacramento come here because it was the ONLY one! I never go inside, it's TOO BUSY AND CROWDED! I always do drive through and it's great service always! Their fried chicken comes out PIPING HOT CRISPY CRUNCHY EVERYTIME! And it's true NOT every location is good! For example I went to the one Fairfield CA, huge let down and disappointment! South Sac Jollibee gets it down all day everyday!

So over the weekend when I had to make a trip to Elk Grove I snatched up the opportunity to stop and bring some food home. I downloaded the app, created an account because I definitely want points and rewards. I also want to order ahead. My very first order was 2 piece chicken meal with spaghetti and mashed potatoes and gravy. It also came with the peach mango pie and the pineapple drink. When getting there my husband goes to pick up the order while I waited in the car with our dog. They were very busy inside and in the drive through so I expected a bit of a wait time. It started to get excessively long so I called him to ask what's going on. He goes to the counter to ask the status of the order. The guy asked for the order info so he gave it to him. He looks around and tells my husband they have no info on my order. That doesn't make sense. So he goes through a bunch of other customers receipts and he found mine. He laughed and told my husband oh I guess we put it to the side and forgot to make the order. Say what? Are you kidding me? They made it then. Strike one on lousy customer service. But maybe the food will make up for it? Yes and no. So my husband brings the food out and the plan was to bring it home to eat. I decided nope I need to try this now because I'm hungry and excited to eat this. I open the spaghetti. Looked good. Tasted better than it looks. I was in love and hooked immediately. My husband took a bite and didn't like it. His loss. More for me. It was a small side so I ended up just eating the whole thing. In the meantime I decided I also wanted to try the burger steak since I don't come often. He goes n to order it and I eat the mashed potatoes and gravy. Best fast food mashed potatoes and gravy I've ever had. Finished that off too lol. He brings the burger steak out. I was going to take the rest home but I wanted 1 bite of the burger steak. The container they used had a hole in the back and they 500 gallons of mushroom gravy ended up spilling over the side down on my bare legs (wearing shorts) and it was hot. At least I'll give them that. Hot, very hot and it's burned my legs. I still have my legs attached so it could be worse. Whatever. I try it. Not impressed. I took the rest home and ate it later because I wasn't going to waste food. But I absolutely wouldn't get that again. It was burnt, bland, dry. Even the Pacific Ocean amount of gravy didn't help the dryness. I ate the chicken at home. Very good chicken. Very juicy and tender. Skin was still crispy even after the drive back to Roseville. I also enjoyed the pie and the pineapple drink I just wish the drink could come in a bigger size. They are opening one in Roseville. I'm not sure when but it seems soon. And I can't wait. I'm definitely going to be a frequent flyer for that spaghetti. The bee outside was cute and I saw a few people taking selfies with it. My husband said the inside seemed clean. He wasn't inspecting it or anything. Just a normal interior of a fast food restaurant. I enjoyed the food, the majority of it. The customer service however was lacking.

The drive-thru employee informed me that no modifications or substitutions could be made to menu items as her buttons on her register is limited it's not possible. I respectfully asked to speak with a manager, but the employee responded that the manager could hear the conversation and then laughed. Despite my request, the manager declined to speak with me directly or consider accommodating my request, even after I offered to pay an additional charge. What was most disappointing was not the inability to modify the sandwich, but the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and customer-focused service demonstrated throughout the interaction. The experience gave the impression that customer satisfaction is not a priority and that employees are unwilling to make reasonable efforts to address customer requests or concerns. In today's competitive restaurant industry, exceptional customer service often distinguishes successful businesses from struggling ones. Unfortunately, this experience reflected a concerning lack of empathy, accountability, and commitment to customer care. The interaction left me feeling undervalued as a customer and significantly diminished my perception of the brand. Having visited Popeyes locations in Canada, particularly in Toronto, I have consistently experienced a higher standard of customer service, where employees have been more accommodating and willing to assist customers whenever possible. The contrast was striking. Based on this experience, I have lost confidence in this location and, regrettably, will reconsider future visits to Popeyes locations in the United States. I hope the company takes customer feedback seriously and invests in improving both service standards and management accountability.

Outstanding Customer Service!…read more I had an amazing experience at Frosty Queen! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine kindness and positive energy. I had the pleasure of meeting Isabella, and she is one of the main reasons I'll continue coming back. She was down-to-earth, incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and full of enthusiasm. She made the experience fun and welcoming, which is something that's becoming increasingly rare. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does, and it shows in the way she treats her customers. I also met her coworker, Anisa, who was just as warm and friendly. Together, they represent the company's mission and values exceptionally well. As the first faces customers see, they made me feel like they were genuinely happy I was there--not because they had to, but because they truly cared. Customer service like this is hard to find these days. Isabella and Anisa turned a simple visit into a memorable experience, and because of them, I will absolutely become a loyal customer. Thank you both for making me feel so welcome. Ever since, I've been coming here for their fresh and nicely grilled burgers and fries. We've literally been here dozens of times and it's been consistently good. The store is usually very clean and the layout is all the same at all the stores pretty much, so it's all good, nice and spacious, clean bathrooms, brightly lit. Over the years, this location has gotten more and more crowded at the prime times around lunch and dinner, but thankfully there are several nearby locations now, and I frequent the one at Delta Shores more since it's more conveniently located, and that one seems to be a little bit less crowded even during high times, but I still come out to this Laguna Blvd one once in awhile. The parking situation hasn't gotten any better here, unfortunately. The way the lot is situated just doesn't provide a lot of room for more parking spaces and the entrance to the lot is too close to the big intersection that this In-N-Out sits at the corner of, so it's kind of a big mess here for finding a spot, not to mention the drive thru line would effectively close off a section of the parking lot and makes it hard to get to spot over there. And the drive thru is usually very long, so I usually find a spot as close as possible, even if I'm doing take out, and hop out to order and wait in person inside to get my food to go. Most of the time though, I come w/the family and we dine in as the kids love coming here and we still ask for some of the little sticker papers for them to fiddle with while they eat. The burgers are still solid and tasty. I like all the fixings, so I usually like to have my burgers done animal style while the kids and wife opt for grilled onions and the special sauce on the side, it taste longer to ask for special ways of cooking our burgers, but it's worth the wait, we love grilled onions on our burgers. But my favorite is the fresh-cut fries that made right in the store and never from frozen potatoes, you can really taste the difference. The only thing is they use regular vegetable oil, so it's seed-oil which the wife informed me is really bad, and so now that I know I feel like I should only have it occasionally. But it's definitely a treat I won't keep myself from having whenever I come here, so maybe instead of 2 orders of fries to myself, I'll have just one with my 2 burgers. All in all, this In-N-Out is still the original in Elk Grove, and is still a good one. There's now another one that opened on Elk Grove Blvd and that I'll have to check out soon.
