I tried their new breakfast sandwich today for the first time. I had the @5 combination which is a breakfast biscuit with sausage and egg. It comes with country style potatoes instead of the hash browns I prefer. The biscuit was good, if a little dry, but the sausage had a funny flavor to it that I did not like. That might just be a personal thing, others may like it. All in all, I think I'll be sticking with Mc Donalds for breakfast. read more

I've been three times over the past year with friends, and I won't waste my time anymore. We've experienced rude and hurried staff at the drive-through on a consistent basis that became frustrated and curt when our order was not completed within their time-frame. We wrote it off the first two times, thinking maybe we had just caught someone on a bad day. However on the third and final time we experienced the same lack of enthusiasm and rushed conversation. The only thing going for this place would be that out of the three times we visited, there was only a mistake made once. I would recommend that if you do decide to eat here, order inside. Nothing ruins an appetite like being made to feel the staff has better things to do with their time than give you one minute to view their menu. read more

We had three orders. Two of them were messed up. Mushroom burger was served without any mushroom. Staff seemed clueless about all of this. So they took the half eaten burger in the back and added mushroom there. Not sure if the health department would've approved of this . Otherwise very friendly service. Great French fries. read more

horrible service. cold disgusting food. will NEVER NEVER go back.. The person taking the money had on filthy gloves. He proceeded to cook the food with the same gloves. after 10 minutes he handed me the one item I ordered with the same filthy, disgusting gloves. He did not give me a receipt and refused to do so when asked. this happened at about 8am this morning and the person in the car behind me was harassing me because of the long wait. the person at the window, the same one with still the filthy gloves came to the window and told me to move. I was checking the order because even though asking for a croissant and paying for a croissant I was given a biscuit on 2 occassions and when I tried to have the order corrected the wanted the receipts This Wendys never gives receipts and always refuses to do so when asked. the maple bacon chicken croissant is absolutely wonderful when cooked and severed properly as at other Wendys, I had stopped going to Wendys years ago because of the service in Redding Ca and really nothing interesting on the menu . this breakfast item is great, but not in Redding California .. yesterday my grandson and I went to the same Wendys for lunch. his double cheeseburger was hot and tasty while my plain Childs cheeseburger was so cold the cheese did not melt and was like plastic. the lemonade tasted like bad dirty water. wish I could give it minus stars read more

The new strawberry mango chicken salad rocks! I don't eat fast food but needed dinner on a road trip from SoCal to SoOregon so stopped in Redding and remembered Hey Heather, were inbound and should be home by 11:00 tonight. Just realized that we don't have a key to get in the house. Are you working tonight or would it be possible for you to leave it where we can find it? happy with this Wendys in the past. It's always nice to be able to get a good baked potato too. My husband had a chili cheese potato and my son also had the strawberry mango chicken salad and they were both really happy. I really hope someone from Wendy's corporate reads this. I was at Wendy's today and there was one employees there that was going above and beyond helping customer. His name was Angel. He was very observant to my needs and other customers needs. If every employee was like Angel, Wendy's would always be packed with customers. This Wendys is better than the one on Pine, but not by much. My biggest complaint is how often they get my orders wrong. I don't go there often -- maybe once or twice per month with my nephews -- but it seems like half the time they screw up the order. Also, unlike most Wendys nationwide, the Redding Wendys serve Pepsi products instead of Coke. This is a big minus for them. All burgers go better with Coke. read more

I had gotten the 4 for 4 with a Crispy Chicken BLT, I brought it to work, and ate it about 30 mins later. I left it on the counter, which I have done numerous times before with Wendy's and chicken. Gal working the drive thru really seemed apathetic. Baked potato with sour cream and chives had no chives. That's not a huge deal, since I had some at home. Customer service is a calling, and that gal got the wrong number. I appreciate being treated like I am not a nuisance when I am spending my money somewhere. It was 110 degrees outside. The line wasn't very long and we had to wait 45 minutes before we got to the window. Once we got there they tried to give us someone else's order. We waited another 5 minutes and we knocked on the window. The babies were screaming in the backseat and the car was having a hard time staying cool because it was so hot. They forgot our order and had to start cooking it while we waited. They never communicated that with us. So we asked how long it was going to take and they said 2-3 minutes so we waited. Several minutes went by and we knocked again and the lady that came to the window said oh sorry it's going to be another several minutes. We asked for a refund and that took another several minutes and told us it would take 2-3 days to post. The last lady that came to the window was really nice but the others didn't act like they cared. It was ridiculous and I don't think we will go there again. read more

I ordered in the drive through. The staff was friendly and helpful. The drive through signs were not lit at all, making it challenging to read after dusk. I ordered the chicken Asiago club sandwich. It was delivered through the window to me in an amount of time I would call average. The piece of chicken on my sandwich was of less than mediocre quality. I've had worse cuts, but this one is the worst chicken I've ever had at Wendy's; it was tough and gristly. read more

Went here for dinner tonight. Drive through was fast and the lady taking my order and money was so nice!! I wish I had gotten her name. An employee named Tyler was kind and got us everything we needed. I made a weird request and asked him for a paper towel that was damp because I had been touching money and felt gross. He, without hesitation, got me one and was so fast about it! All in all, great service they tonight. My roommate come here all the time and we definitely will keep coming back!! read more

After an eventful weekend in lake shasta my youth group of 117 kids had stopped to eat on our 5 hour drive back home. My friends and I though Wendy's sounded like a good place to eat. Although the food was excellent the service was not. Out of 6 workers, nobody had taken our order for about 20 minutes because the workers where "overwhelmed" by the previous three orders. I relize that with a crowd of 20 people may frighten workers however thats no excuse to neglect those in line. However, Mariah was very nice and friendly. She made sure we were all okay and apologized for the inconvenience. She should be employee OF THE YEAR! I felt bad when her coworker started yelling at her when all she was doing was trying the best she could to satisfy our hunger. Future advice as a girl who works in the food industry, when you have a large crowd in line, don't show obvious frustration and ALWAYS HAVE SOMEONE ON REGISTER, at least take my order then continue with the food making. read more

after being very disappointed with Wendy's - to my surprise - i received a call from the district manager - Sandra. she called and told me that they were extremely sorry for the mix up and they offered us a replacement meal for the two of us. well - we took her up on her offer and went in yesterday the 21st. Brian - the manager of the store - came up made the meal himself - so gracious. and once again - we are fans of Wendy's. not every company will acknowledge their mistake - much less try to correct it so they don't lose a customer - three cheers for Wendy's - Dave Thomas would be very proud!! read more

I usually don't eat at Wendy's and tonight I found the reason why, I ordered 3 frosties 2 medium and a small all the same flavor, vanilla. was I pulled up to the first window to pay for my ice creams the girl was really rude to me when I asked her if they could put them in drink carriers as I was explaining why I do that at the first window instead of the second (because I work at mc donalds and I get the struggle). but in the middle of my sentence she shrugged at me and walked away... and I saw her threw the window just leaning on the counter doing absolutely nothing. Where I work you don't get payed $10 an hour to sit around while you have no customers and CERTAINLY not to have bad customer service. the least she could have done was give me a smile and laugh or something. I as a 18 year old guy never felt the need to cry over this but I totally was a baby about it.
