Honestly, if you go before 9pm then it's really not all that bad. They didn't throw me under my fries and the sandwich was the perfect amount of spicy. The service is very fast and the food is still hot. The ambiance is quiet and calm for you to eat. The only thing throwing it down was the rundown look on the inside. read more

Went here as a second choice because Taco Bell had apparently closed at 9pm due to COVID. SMH. Anyway, we ordered at the drive through. 3 #6 combos all upsized to medium. The lady in the drive through had an attitude like she didn't want to be there. Of course you pay extra to upsize your combo so you get a bigger drink and fry. Drinks are self explanatory and I will say that they were a good size to be called medium. My biggest frustration was in the fries. They were LITERALLY half full. I took a picture of my husband's and mine (see attached). I would have added a picture of my daughters too but she snagged a fry before I got a chance to take a picture and I wanted to give a 100% fair representation of how empty our fry containers were without taking ANY out. I brought a group of 4 at 9:10 pm - They locked the doors on us as we got to the door. It should be noted that another group showed up at the same time. Posted hours for dining room are 10 am to 10 pm. Asked the employee about this. He went and said something to the shift manager. Shift manager would not even come talk to me. The shift manager sent a message by the employee that it didn't matter what was posted, the dining area was closed. read more

The food ordered was not the food received. I ordered a full salad and only received a half salad but I caught that error before leaving. They gave me another half salad but it didn't have any chicken on it. My husband ordered a double burger and only received a single. Come on Powhatan Wendy's! Definitely the worst place to eat in Powhatan, and that's saying a lot. I've eaten here numerous times but the last visit was officially my last. Rude employees, stale, cold fries, tiny, cold burgers, long wait at the drive through and I'm the only car. Flat, off tasting Coke. Wendy's is literally the worst place to eat in all of Powhatan county. I can't even describe to you how many hazardous and nasty disgusting things go on in there. I STRONGLY do not recommend. The place always stinks and has a rotten egg aroma in the air. The wait times are ridiculous , they never get the drive thru to actually move. The floors are always dirty and they are always out of something weather it's drinks food, salads, ketchup, tea it's always something missing. They always say it's short staff and make excuses this store needs to get itself together. Plus you know it's bad when I can say all this and know I'm 100% correct. The slowest Wendy's I have been to. No matter how slow it is they ignore the cash register. No one greets you or even acknowledges that they see you are waiting. Several times half my order sat on the counter waiting on Fries and my food got cold While they were giving other orders fries. They always tell me my fries aren't ready. Worst service ever. I like this place occasionally just to mix it up now and again. The food is ok only because my burger is usually cold by the time I sit to eat it due to the burger being dressed with the condiments. The meals are pricey for just a hohum burger, fries and drink. Not very impressed read more

The worst fast food place I've ever eaten. Every time I go there I have to wait 20 minutes in line or more in drive through or in the restaurant. The food is fine. But when you're on your lunch break and have 30 minutes for lunch sitting in line for 20-30 minutes is unacceptable. read more

The service continues to go down. Our food was literally thrown at us thru the Drive-Thru window, and our order was wrong. Went inside and the manager was no better, no apology and spent the entire time waiting and talking to the employee manning the drive-thru about the "Chippenham" location being worse than Powhatan. We got home and our fries were stone cold. I will not be going back. Funny, there used to be a card in the window with a number to call for comments/complaints but that has been removed. read more
