This is the second time I've ordered cheese sticks and they put no cheese on it. Shit is just thrown together. It makes you wonder if they are this nonchalant about doing an awful job, what else are they skimping on?! How's the hygiene there? How are the safety practices?! To be honest I didn't even eat it! From the Mercedes of takeout chain pizza years ago to a Yugo. It is so tragic to see how far Papa John's has declined over the years. I tried one Papa John's pizza from this location late last year and it was horrendous. I tried again and...I'll just say Little Caesar's would be an UPgrade. And the last Little Caesar's pizza didn't stay in my stomach for long. I'd rather eat frozen pizza. Or no pizza at all. And I'm not a negative person. Ordered some pizza online and went to pick it up tonight. There were signs on the door to say we need to wear a mask to enter. That was probably to warn people that the employees do not wear masks here. There were at least 6 employees in the store and none of them were wearing a mask. When asked why I received silence. I've been eating Papa Johns almost my whole life and have come to have a special place for their pizza over the competition in the "fast food pizza" market. Yes I enjoy "real" pizza from the local shops too but I love to indulge in this occasionally. That has ended today. Unfortunately this pizza has changed, and in a very bad way. I use to be able to smell a signature Papa Johns smell when opening the box, and taste the unique Papa Johns bite from the sauce and dough. But this last pizza I had felt like it had no soul. The flavors felt muted and the dough was softer and flatter than it should be. Really in the end I had to force it down through my sadness and disappointment. This is an end of an era for me, the last fast food pizza I loved has died. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service! I have ordered the same pizza for the last 4 months... 1 topping pepperoni with a cheese stuffed crust for $13.99. Always comes that way... this time I order 2 of them and they come with a cheese pizza but the crust is pepperoni filled. I called and they agreed they made a mistake... and sent 1 replacement. I called and said I ordered 2.... They fought with me for 10 minutes over the phone saying a 1 topping pizza was the cheese... not pepperoni. I wanted a large cheese pizza for the grands and Papa John's got it done! When I stepped inside, they asked if I was picking up. I responded only if they had a spare large unclaimed cheese pizza. The answer was no, but if I was willing to wait 5 minutes they could make one. It was indeed ready in 5 minutes and the nice young man at the register (I believe it was Devon, that was the name on the receipt) brought it to my van while I waited with my mama. 1 star only because I cannot select 0. Terrible terrible terrible. I'm to blame for trying them over again. Out of 4 recent orders only 1 came correct. They cannot make a pizza with more than 1 topping without messing something up. Drivers are either late, lost, or show up to the wrong address. I decided to do carry out recently to avoid that issue only for them to mess up a simple 3 topping pizza. Seems to be ran by the most incompetent management. read more

I ordered take out from this location. My pizza was not ready for two and a half hours! This was not a mix up my friend. The time just continued increasing. I ordered on the app and it popped up that it would be ready in 95 minutes!!! It wasn't, by the way, it was well over 2 hours. When I tried to cancel, it said the order had been started and I would be charged. Seriously?!? If it takes over 2 hours to make a pizza, maybe don't put every little cheese sliver on the pizza with a pair of tweezers. Was it cooked with an easy bake oven? I will drive to Midlothian before I order at this location again. Post a complaint? Read the other reviews, zero f-bombs given. I caution you against ordering delivery from this location. My recent order was not received because it was delivered to my neighbor's home in error, who came over and informed me that her kids had accepted the delivery and eaten it, thinking she had surprised them with pizza. The store refused to refund my purchase price, on the basis that there was no "proof" and the delivery driver had delivered the order the location their GPS had taken them to. It is unsurprising that houses directly across the street from each other would have similar locations, but apparently the driver did not take note of the clearly marked house number on my neighbor's mailbox. While occasional delivery errors are understandable, it's unbelievable to me that a company would not issue a refund for an order delivered to the wrong home, especially a relatively small order ($35, $10 of which was a delivery fee & tip) for a customer who has never before had a complaint regarding an order. I will not be making purchases from any Papa John's locations in the future because I don't want to do business with a company that allows franchise owners to operate this way. read more
