    C'mon in!

I like it! This pizza joint is nothing more than a hole in the wall, but the folks who work there are friendly and they sure know how to cook! We grabbed a couple of cheesesteaks and they were totally tasty. One of the keys to a decent cheesesteak sandwich is the bread and Zombie Pizza has a bread supplier that makes a cheesesteak dream come true. Came back the next day for a small pepperoni and it was just as satisfying as the cheesesteaks were. I recommend for pizza and subs, whether delivery or grab'n'go.

On a late Saturday night, I decided to give Zombie Pizza a try. With just an hour to spare, I ordered a small pepperoni and an all-white pizza, and I was immediately impressed. These were some seriously good-looking pies. The New York-style crust was spot on.. thin with a perfect balance of crispness and chew. The pepperoni pizza featured smoky, savory slices over a bright, tangy tomato sauce and melted mozzarella, while the all-white pizza delivered a creamy, garlicky blend of cheeses that was rich without being overwhelming. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the fresh ingredients to the perfectly cooked crust. Zombie Pizza is a true hidden gem in Richmond.. definitely one of the best spots for a great slice in the South.

My boyfriend is obsessed with Zombie Pizza. I'm obsessed with their fresh ingredients. This is the closest pizza place to us, so whenever we're thinking about ordering pizza, he suggests this place first. There is no indoor seating, so you have to take out. It's a great place to get pizza for a picnic in Forest Hill Park. It smells amazing inside. Their free pizza smells are incredible. I love their red sauce and the high quality of the product. Although simple, their cheese pizza is the favorite thing I've had here. Something was a little off for the Hawaiian chicken pizza for me. And the garden pizza didn't quite do it for me. I'm excited to try more of their pizzas.

Discovered this pizza place after our neighbor told us about it. Everything is made to order so I'd recommend calling your order in because it did take about 20 minutes (however, we loved walking around and looking at all the local shops/restaurants nearby) and there isn't any indoor seating at the moment. The pizza was really delicious - crispy crust and quality ingredients and the prices are very reasonable. The garlic knots weren't our favorite but there were other sides/appetizers that we are interested in trying so we will definitely be back. Plenty of street parking nearby and the staff is extremely friendly. If you live in the area, I would recommend trying this place out!

Perfect addition to the neighborhood I have tried the vegan pizzas. They are good the gyro is good too and do yourself a favor and get the garlic knots!!

Calzone with pepperoni and extra mozzarella. I had him put some garlic butter on top when it was done. Excellent!

What a great little place! It doesn't look like much, but man that calzone was good. For $12 I got pepperoni and extra mozzarella and it was a bargain. It looked so good I didn't want to eat it, but it smelled so good I couldn't resist. Really nice guys working inside. Ya know how you go into some places and you can tell the employees hate their job? These guys were having fun and enjoying being there. They must know that they provide great food at a reasonable price, so they make people happy all day. Pro Tip: I had him douse my calzone with the garlic butter after it was cooked.

    SICILIAN PIZZA

Last night was the first time I tried Zombie Pizza and it was hands down some of the best pizza I've had in Richmond. I got the Zombie Sicilian and garlic knots and both were great! The food was ready fast and the staff was very friendly upon pickup. As soon as I stepped into the shop I knew it was going to be great from the smell of pizza alone.

I had such high hopes for this place. I'm thinkin', "Ya, new home and there's an awesome pizza place that's just down the street." But alas, the awesome part of that plan did not come to fruition. Located just above the elbow where Semmes bends into Forest Hill, you'll miss it if you're not careful. Friendly folks that work here and the place looks well-used. Zombie advertises their pizza as New York style, but I think they need to visit NYC to see what that pizza is all about. I ordered a small cheese pizza and a Greek salad. I was told 10 minutes, but it took a little longer. Pizza smelled heavenly, but unfortunately, the taste does not match the smell. Yes, the pizza has a thin crust, but there is a thick bubble of crust around the edge (that's where the yummy smell came from - garlic butter brushed on the crust?). Once I got home and pulled a piece from the pie I noticed that the bottom was a little tough to cut through (they only cut it into fourths and I wanted smaller slices). When I flipped it over I saw why - the entire bottom was pretty thoroughly burned. Now I like a little browning on the edge of my pizzas, but this was too much. I got through one piece and decided that burnt pizza wasn't worth the workouts to burn it off. The bubble crust at the edge was the best part of the pizza. The store has plenty of offerings in terms of a variety of pizzas and desserts. I would definitely call ahead so that you don't have to wait around. There is plenty of parking, but no place to sit. Water and soda (Coke) are available in the cooler to the side. There are so many pizza joints in this city that I think Zombie needs to up their game a little bit. A disappointing visit, and I can't say that I won't be back, but if I do I will definitely check that pie before I leave!

    BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA

I have passed this pizza shop many times, and seeing how busy it can get I was very intrigued. I went and was pleasantly surprised at how AMAZING it is. From the flavors, textures, ratios, it's all perfect. The dough is homemade and the best I've ever had. The owner was very sweet, and I will definitely be returning!

I love that you can dine on the furniture and that there is really yummy food and drink here. Back in May 2025, my fiancé and I decided we wanted to get each other a couch for our anniversary. They were having an awesome sale on the clip products for Memorial Weekend here. We knew from previous times that we really liked that sofa and wanted to wait a little to see if there were any upcoming sales. At the time, they were looking for a new furniture salesperson, so someone from the restaurant team took our info. She was the one who shared the sale with us. We had a pretty good experience ordering our clip sofa and ottoman. I love how customizable each piece is. They were beyond patient and kind with us while we ordered. The person who helped us was kind, but there were a lot of technical issues that made the ordering process take a long time. The timeline for our couch to arrive was also delayed. It came a few weeks later than expected. The delivery men were really kind too though! The clip products are quality pieces and really pretty. We get a lot of compliments on our couch. I highly recommend getting the ottoman with it so you can turn it into an L couch or have something to put your feet up on.

Have a couple cocktails and whatever else and watch something on TV. And her new couch is the bees knees. For me, the sandwich was perfect. The bread was beautiful and crusty. I was afraid it was going to be toasted and too crusty, and I'd be fighting to bite it and my sandwich guts spilling out while cutting up my gums and the roof of my mouth like it's Captain crunch or something.. BUT NO! It was PERFECT to bite through. They load you up with the meat they're not stingy. And the sauces... BABY! The aïoli was fantastic. My only beef is that horseradish aioli needed a little bit more of a kick, but that's a personal problem. My friend got the chicken Caesar and I see why it's popular. It is so garlicky and delicious. Cons: While I understand the sandwich requires a strong vessel to hold the toppings, the bread was very thick and tough. The fillings did not match the bread proportion on this particular sandwich. The chicken breast was extremely overcooked and difficult to chew. Several pieces were leather-like in texture. Maybe chicken thighs would work better. I love the creativity of this sandwich and I get where they were trying to go, but the finished product was disappointing. A new line cook was being trained so perhaps this accounted for the miss. I've seen photos of the other sandwiches and they look delicious with better proportioned fillings. Not sure if I'll give it another try, but shoutout to all their fans in Church Hill.
