I got a Luca's special pizza (cheese, pepperoni, sausage, peppers onions and mushrooms. It was very tasty with generous toppings. By the time I got home 5 minutes away. The bottom crust was very limp and soggy, my the easiest to eat with your hands. I think my biggest complaint though was their online ordering site. I used it to order my pizza so it was ready when I got there. I found this pizza on their menu and clicked on it, it was called their "combo pizza"... a few minutes after I placed the order I got a call from them saying they had several combo pizzas and asked which combo l ordered. I told them the ingredients, reading it right from their web page. "Oh, that's our "specialty pizza"... just seems very weird that they created their menu and don't know what their online menu calls their pizzas. I really wanted to like Luca's based on the great reviews, I want to believe it was just this one meal. I went there to pick up the spaghetti lunch special. I was in the mood for pasta and thought I would try it here and unfortunately was disappointed. The spaghetti was very plain,and what I believe was marinara sauce was soupy and watered down. I had to add a generous amount of salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese, there wasn't any meat options available which was also unfortunate that probably would've helped the dish a bit. I couldn't finish it and had to throw it out sadly. The experience was not completely disappointing honestly. The customer service however was wonderful I love the fact that this establishment seems very family oriented, there's pictures of what I assume is the owners family on the walls which was very wholesome. First, this is a take out and delivery spot only (no seating). With limited places in the area, I ended up here on a whim a few weeks ago when at the office. I hadn't ordered ahead or anything, so walked in to order. I was greeted immediately and with such kindness and humbleness. I figured there is no better sub to judge a place on than an italian, and that's what I went with. The staff asked if I wanted to make my sub a combo, and I was shocked it was only like $.60 or something more to get fries and a drink (yay, lunch special that I didn't see on the back of the menu)! It's a tight foyer area, so after ordering I just went back to my car to wait. While waiting I saw the delivery driver come and go, and they seemed to be pretty busy during the lunch hour, which is awesome for local biz. In about 15 mins I was on my way with a great meal for lunch. Generous filling portions for sure. Would recommend and will certainly return when needing lunch in this area, and plan to order ahead and try some other options. read more

We are staying at the KOA down the road and we were looking for some pizza to have. Checked a lot of the reviews in the area and decided to give Lucas a shot. I picked up the pizza and the staff was very friendly giving extra plates and bowls because we are camping. When I brought it to the car the smell of the pizza filled the car and everyone was excited for dinner. Great pizza and salad. We had the combination pizza which was awesome and my sons had cheese. Luca's is a go to spot. I recommend the steak and cheese sub, but honestly all of their subs are amazing. I like the variety on the menu and the weekly specials. Thursday's are perfect with BOGO cheese pizza. Texas Fries are clutch. Their menu always makes you want to try something else. Highly recommended. Underwhelming experience. Ordered the two large pizza special and a house salad for delivery directly from their website, as it's cheaper that way. Also received a 10% discount for first order. The salad was pretty good. The pizza was definitely a disappointment. The crust on both pizzas was chewy and completely flimsy, as if it had been cooked, saturated with liquid and then cooked again. One pizza was pepperoni and onion. The other was pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese. The flavor was decent, but aside from the onion, the amount of the toppings was negligible. Both pizzas had the same amount of cheese, even though one was supposed to be extra cheese. The left overs went in the trash. We may try other food from this place in the future, but definitely won't be ordering pizza again. read more

The staff was amazing!!! This review is strictly due to the food. The pizza was oddly chewy and did not have any "snap" at all. We got sausage on the pizza and I have no idea what it actually was. Looked like sausage, but didn't taste like it at all. Also ordered wings with garlic parmesan sauce. I couldn't tell is the wings were breaded just slimy. When I first looked at Lucas's Pizza Express it gave me a small town shop feeling. And as I walk towards the door I was excited to try something new and see what this new pizza place was all about. Most people get that wonderful pizza vibe. When I walk in it was your average pizza place but 2x more. When you first walk in you see the Cashier (who was very friendly) and in the back the hot red brick oven. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and kind. You just don't get that same small town pizzeria vibe when you walk into a place like Domino's. When you go into to a restaurant the friendly and happy feeling you get while your there is part of the dining experience. The pizza I got while I was there was the best pizza I had ever eaten in the area. It was fresh out of the oven in less than 15 minutes! I think one thing people don't get is that a restaurant review is not just about the food, it's also about the feeling you get when you first walk in. read more
