It would've been nice if there was chili on this instead, but nope. For $7.99, the serving was extremely small, probably good for a six-year-old. Barely edible, I ate about a quarter of it and just pushed it aside saying I'm done. I can't even imagine the salt content that was in this. I know one thing for sure it was extremely high! I ordered the fish and chicken combo which is served with French fries and hush puppies. The French fries were fairly standard although I do enjoy Long John Silver's fries for what they are. The chicken was alright but the fish was way too hard and required some real work just to bite through. The hush puppies were awful and were rock hard, so no good okay those. Overall, Long John Silver's is a dying chain in 2019 and overcooked food and a bland experience are part of that reason. Although the food was edible and not terrible, I don't see myself returning to this chain in the future.
