Ordered the baconator combo and upgraded to a frosty chino drink , order came up and before I got my drink , the manager/ owner told the cashier that she had made me a large instead of the small that I ordered. Told her to remake it instead of just giving me the large ! The drink was made correctly the 1st time and had the "frosty" portion in said drink , the remade drink was sans frosty and just an iced coffee. This place charges a crazy strange and unfair .59 cent fee to anyone who uses a credit card! This is likely illegal in California. I probably should have just walked out but since I had cash and was hungry, I paid cash. But I cannot recommend this place to anyone since they do not inform you of this fee up front and when you ask them about it, they act evasive, like they are doing you some sort of favor or something. Wendy's, as many fast food options, is a disposable run in experience. Never super memorable, but hopefully hot food with a quick time turn around. This Wendy's was the best experience ever in a Wendy's, and dare say any drive in. First and foremost the drive through experience was quick and efficient. I could ACTUALLY hear the attendant clear and concise when speaking. No crackling, or miscommunication. Polite and quick, got our order the first time. We , being number four in line, reached the window fast. The employee was polite, AND could count back change after we gave the cash. I find many drive through employees without the register, can't count change. We pulled around to eat, and it was by far the best tasting junior cheese burger I have ever had. I usually dislike Wendy's, my husband loves it, so usually a junior cheeseburger is all I get. It was delicious. Before hitting the road, we parked to eat and I went inside to use the restroom. The employee at the clerk greeted me, unheard of! The establishment was impeccably clean, and even had a fireplace and flat screen in the eating area! On Saturday (7/11/2020), my sister came through the drive thru and was trying to order a soda but the cashier was not able to hear her and kept speaking over her and while my sister was repeating her order, she called my sister a "fucking bitch" over the loudspeaker! Yesterday (07/13/2020), my sister and I were in the drive thru and spoke to one of the managers and he recalled hearing the worker call her a bitch and informed us that after that she made a statement stating that she wasn't scared of my sister, but my sister was never aggressive in the first place. Finally, today (07/14/2020), we went to the drive thru and I gave that same lady my card. She handed me my card and told me that it was declined twice which isn't the case, there is just a probably with the strip on my card so I asked her if she could please run the card again. She she told me she already did it twice and I repeated my request that she run it again. She gave me a very disrespectful look and rolled her eyes, ran the card again, was laughing with her coworkers and mugging me and my sister through the window. She took a long time running my card and she kept looking at my card, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. Finally she hands me back my card and I asked "oh so did I work?" And she then proceeds to call ME a bitch which set me and my sister off. I asked to speak to a manager (different guy than from yesterday) and he was very rude in how he was speaking to us and then turned around and asked the girl if she called me a bitch and of course the girl lied and said no and he just shrugged. She then comes back up to the window and calls my sister and I "motherfuckers" and tells us "fuck you" and what is even more appalling is that during this whole scenario from start to finish, the girl was in there laughing as if the disrespect is funny and she is untouchable. This is not only horrible customer service, but it is a disgusting way to carry yourself as well as the company name and values you are supposed to be holding. Very disorganized. They seemed to be staffed well, but didn't take new orders until they finished old ones which seems to defeat the whole concept of the fast food assembly line.
