I don't think the sides come with the burgers, so you'll have to purchase them separately. The burger was heftyyyy!!! I could barely finish it all and didn't have enough room in my stomach for the chili cheese fries! It really fulfilled my cravings and it was exactly what I wanted in a diner burger. They were very generous with the bacon and I had bacon in every bite! (It was a bit salty tho) I like that they add the lettuce and tomatoes on the side so you can add it to yourself when you get home. I asked to sub my fries for clam chowder and they happily accepted the substitution. I've only ordered to-go because the establishment is quite small and tends to get busy, but the food is still great! The items I've had tasted fresh and cooked very nicely. Today my wife reminded me that Mel's has a Cobb salad as well and she thinks it is the real deal. Wife enjoyed a BLT and... Oh Boy was it a beautiful salad and tasty and it was half a dollar cheaper and 15 miles closer than my last one. I have shaken the Tender Greens dust off my shoes. Mel's only dropped the ball when I had to twist an arm to get a coffee refill and the cup that was poured tasted burnt. Note to self. Want a great Cob salad? Mel's!
