So much better than McDonalds or Jack in the Box!!! I love their burgers and their Junior Bacon Cheeseburger meal is less than $5!!! It is a great little burger and if you are looking for more their Premium Bacon Cheeseburgers are amazing. I love that they have a choice of sides as I never really eat fries, and I think their little Caesar salad is just fantastic. Wendy's is the only fast food restaurant I will get a Salad at and I have never been disappointed. Actually tried the Baja salad for the first time and I was really surprised and happy to see they serve the chili on the side so your lettuce doesn't get all wilted and soggy before you get to your destination. We went out of our way to grab dinner here as we love Wendy's food. So disappointed in this experience though. We waited at the drive through for a long time at the order speaker as they asked us to wait because they had a large order ahead of us. We finally placed our order and had to sit in parking lot for a total of 10 more minutes. No customers inside. Watched them carry our food to another car and finally got it. Tonight I purchased an almond pecan chicken salad from Wendy's to go. Got home to enjoy my meal and after taking a few bites I found a latex glove crumpled up in the middle of my salad stuck under the lettuce and chicken!!!! I'm not very picky with fast food places and this location was decent in the past until my last visit last week. First of all its the only Wendy's on 101 in the area the other closest restaurants are in Salinas, Santa Maria or the one inside the Pilot on the 46 & I5 which are good drive away. Any who I go in restroom to wash hands and it looks like the place was being used by transients as a personal bathroom trash everywhere and worst of all NO hand soap so i just used hot water. Suddenly an employee comes out of restroom and goes straight to work at the front counter. He never even came close to the sink. I was like ok! I'm hungry I need to eat when I should have just left. I go to order no one approaches me for about 5 minutes employees there but no one was doing much. Finally the manager takes my order with her great friendly personality (no emotion what so ever on her face). I go look for a table... all are dirty. Ok just find the least filthy. As I was just about done I see an employee spray down a table and wipe in a circular motion just making a big circle leaving edges and center just wet and dirty.. good job guy! Where in the heck was the manager? I was tired and wanted to go home. Will think twice about going back to this location. read more

Then, we stood there and watch three girls working there argue about who screwed up an order a few minutes earlier and why it happened. The staff was incompetent and vapid. They messed up the order in front of me, my order, and the order behind me. Instead of fixing the mix-ups, they argued amongst themselves over whose mistake it was while everyone was waiting. It's FAST FOOD 15 minutes is NOT fast. The husband and I have been coming here occasionally for about a year and it has been ridiculously inconsistent. A few months ago, one of the workers actually told us that this was the worst place that he had ever worked and actually quit that very same day. On more than a couple of occasions, they have been out of a few items, including their promo spicy chicken and most astonishingly, medium sized cups. Whenever I order a salad, I am usually in for a surprise, as the toppings/dressing, and sadly also the size, depends on whoever is packing the order. There is only one "good" manager that I've seen, who actually seems to care about getting things right, the rest seem like they're rushed even when there are a bunch of workers just standing around and talking about personal things, often in Spanish and inappropriate. I will occasionally order in Spanish and the girls who were talking about their personal lives appear to be a bit ashamed. The drive through has become a definite no-no for us, as there has always been at least one thing missing from our order. More on the food itself: when the order is correct, it is quite good (for fast food). Their salads seem to be made with fresh ingredients, their fries are nice when they are fresh, the strawberry lemonade is refreshing, and their frostys are a nice treat reminiscent of childhood happiness. Unfortunately that is about it for positive aspects, and the customer service leaves a great deal to be desired. Just today, customers were left waiting while one lady just kept going back and forth, even though three other workers could have been helping/taking/packing orders. So much for fast food... It was not busy by any means and she just came off as far too rude for my taste. TL;DR good customer service means a great deal to me and this place doesn't have it. Try somewhere else if you're in a hurry. Frosty cravings are my reason for coming back. PS: Always check for sticky tables! read more

I have a large family and eating at Wendy's is often very time consuming. We do enjoy the quality and cost of the food here, though (not to mention the Frosty keychain is honored!). We spent the day at Avila Beach and were famished. We stopped here and ordered individually. The cashier, though young, handled each transaction professionally and didn't get flustered. The worst Wendy's my husband and I ever went to. Both containers of catsup were empty. Fries without salt were brought out after we finished with hamburger. The hamburger was over fried so the edges were crisp. The light lemonade which they served behind the cash register was mostly water with a slight lemon taste. The crew understand us, but the manager was the rudest person ive ever met! She thinks i was lie-ing! At first she said that promotion is only on tues well i said yesterday was tuesday, and no where in the poster youll see that its only available tuesdays. 2nd, she said i ordered other items, i said we arent dropping by if we didnt see that coz we arent interested on anything here aside on your give away frosty.
