I was the ONLY one in the drive thru and they STILL messed up my burger. I ordered mustard, pickle and onion ONLY. I got that plus ketchup, lettuce and tomato which totally changed the flavor and the calorie count. I am done with this Wendy's. Apparently they have some major issues. Not fast food. Thought I'd treat myself for lunch but ended up eating the lunch I brought while waiting in a ridiculously long drive through line and drove off! Should have known better too, wasted half an hour on their damn app trying to order up one of their promotions but it kept glitching out so I decided to go in person anyway. Trust me, it's more like they don't want you using those promotions than user error. Ended up not buying anything but they get a two for years of previous better experiences at other locations, I guess. I visited around 8:30 PM when the restaurant wasn't busy, but my experience was frustrating. The employee taking my order, who seemed to be a manager, didn't ask for basic details like my drink choice or sauce preference. When I tried to clarify, he seemed irritated and even argued with me about what I had ordered. Midway through, the order screen was turned off, and my order was never confirmed. At the window, it was incorrect, and I wasn't given a receipt to verify it. A more helpful employee had me check my bag, where I found an extra item and another missing. Instead of discarding the extra nuggets I had touched, the manager put them back, which raised food safety concerns. Beyond the mistakes, the dismissive attitude and arguing were the most frustrating. Basic customer service practices--keeping the order screen visible, confirming orders, and handling concerns professionally--could have prevented all of this. I hope this isn't the standard for Wendy's. read more

This Wendy's is terrible. The new automated ordering system is awful. It can't understand most people. The food wasn't even edible. The fries tasted dry and stale, they they were freezer burned, they forgot the sauce for the nuggets and didn't give us spoons for the frosties that we ordered. Worst meal I've had in a long time. Way too much cross contamination here. Please do you and your family a favor and not eat here. I normally avoid writing such harsh reviews but after notifying the manager about witnessing a staff member touch raw beef and without changing her gloves, then touching ready to eat foods, the manager said that they are short staffed so we would have to understand that they don't have time to change gloves. Being a former chef then working for the department of health and human services this is totally unacceptable. As for anyone whom gets sick after eating here it is likely due to poor hygiene and cleanliness of the staff at this Wendy's. The worst was I asked for a refund and was told they have no staff to issue one so I would have to accept what I get. This Wendy's is not worth the second chance but if I do get sick I am certainly seeking restitution from their insurance. read more

The Wendy's product is typically excellent but this location is a constant disappointment. Very poorly managed. Staff constantly leaving and most of the staff is poorly trained and performs worse than typical fast food joints. Dine in service is the worst. Obviously poorly managed. Today I went to Wendys for a salad and again,ingredients were missing. Every wk I buy a salad and EVERY wk the salad doesn't contain all ingredients. For example last wk pecans were missing, 2wks ago cheese wasn't included and in the wks before no chicken included or, in other weeks, no dressing or, again, no pecans, no cranberries, no apple etc. I always check the salad before I go home and every wk I tell employees about things missing. Today no apple&no berries. My suggestion to this place: PLEASE incl ALL salad ingredients. Ad a tip to other customers who like salads: CHECK your salad carefully before you leave. read more

Got 3 Jr Bacon with cheese ordered plain came with everything on them. Didn't realize until I was down the road, so I just scrapped what I could off and ate then noticed burgers tasted funny thought it was just the mayo. Ended up with food poisoning I assume from the mayonnaise not being kept at correct temp or someone handling my food after handling something raw. WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS RESTAURANT!! If you come here past 8pm good luck! The kids working here don't take it serious and your order will most likely be made wrong and take 25+ mins . Look if you are going to eat "fast food" per say, Wendy's is the way to go. This location is convenient to my job and I love it. My daughter tends to be a picky eater and this is a quick fix when I am being lazy and don't want her to eat too much junk. The inside side of this location has a nice décor and is very clean. Again, the bathrooms were well taken care of. (bathrooms are my thing). You are greeted when you walk in and they employees seem to want to be there. They work fast and well here at this location anyway. Never a long wait. I have never had any problems with my order wither when I go inside or in the drive thru. They never forget to ask which sauce you would like or if you would like ketchup. I know that seems like a small thing but to me it's not. Just an overall pleasant experience here. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2017: 37/100: Pretty awesome Wendy's.... recently built in Lake Nona in an area that keeps growing. Conveniently nearby Lake Nona's Valencia College Campus. So new, could not be older than maybe two years so everything looks awesome. Wendy's food is usually prepared fresh (at least that's the excuse they give since they take a big more time to serve you than your average fast food restaurant) and it's consistent with flavor and fresh food. However this experience with whoever this older man was (I believe he was a manager) was completely uncalled for and he was overall very rude and unhelpful, even though his staff got our order wrong and when I proceeded to explain that to him, he walked away from me, as if them getting our order wrong was an inconvenience to him. This Wendy's in Lake Nona is horrible in every way. First of all, I Pulled up to the drive thru as the first car in line and waited 10 minutes before my order was taken. Second, I was given a Regular Coke instead of the Diet Coke I ordered. I politely asked to have it switched because I'm diabetic. When the manager handed it to me, I asked if he was sure and he asked me if I was accusing him of being stupid. He then turned to the kitchen staff and trash talked me. I told him I was contacting corporate because of his behavior and He refused to give me the store owner information or a receipt. To Top it off, my food order was wrong. This place has always been bad. The owner needs to clean house of this staff. read more

Lack of attention to detail. Submitted an online order of two items and got both wrong. It was close to closing in the lobby, but drive-thru was busy (as expected). Scheduled my order in advance, to skip the line. Arrived to the main door already locked, then once I got inside it seemed as if my order hadn't been completed. I waited almost 10 mins for the crew to get together, until i caught the manager's attention, where he pointed to my order already made. Back in my car, heading up the street; grabbing for my first sandwich, take a bite. And instantly I knew it was the wrong thing. Put it back (it was my rewards burger, no loss) and reach for my chicken sandwich, which is also the same burger from my first bite. According to Business Insider, Wendy's Wild Caught North Pacific Cod Fish Sandwich is winner as the best fish sandwich in the fast food restaurants nationwide. This fish sandwich is only available at Wendy's from the mid January until the end of March. And I look forward to this season and treat myself with this mouthwatering crispy and flaky Cod fish sandwich. The best by far! It is lightly breaded with panko with light tartar sauce and pickles along with the right bread. Have it with cheese or not, yummy! Someone please explain what this is (pic for ref). I really tried to stay positive and hoped I'd find the chicken the next bite, but it never came! 2nd time here in 2yrs and both times were awful. I had hoped they worked everything out from two years ago but I think they only got worse. Customer service sucked! Employees looked unhappy and were quite rude. I ordered a mobile order when I got to the window they informed me the drink I had ordered was not available. Then I asked what else was there (since I'm not a wendy's eater wasn't sure of all options - again because I mobile ordered I don't have the drink menu in front of me). She rolls her eyes and tells me it's all coke products or maybe it was pepsi...either way she looks at me as if I'm an inconvenience because I don't know what to replace my drink with. Crazy with all the problems at the Orlando airport I got a hotel in front of this place. No rental car since there are none available I try to come in and order a few minutes after the close the doors and they won't let me order.
