Decided to stop at this location for a quick lunch. They were not busy so ordering was quick. I opted to get a regular cheeseburger wrapped in lettuce. I was under the impression that it would come in some sort of container but it was wrapped in foil like a regular burger. It was kind of difficult to eat since I really couldn't use a fork and knife with the foil. The burger itself was delicious but it needed an actual container. I was happy that they weren't busy because I was able to find an open table and get some work done on my laptop. The restaurant is open and bright and has lots of natural light. Makes for a good place to work if you don't need to be on the phone. I'll definitely stop back at this location. read more

My brother and I love food lol, so don't mind us showing you the food we eat lol anyways, we went to five guys and usually I get a single burger but it's been forever since I been here I got a double stack which I didn't know but sure dang was good. I had regular fries wish I added some bacon on my burger haha. Well for my. Brother he got the Cajun fries and a single burger with some toppings he likes. Five Guys has become an extremely popular chain of burger restaurants that have been around since 1986 when they opened their first location in Arlington County, Virginia. From that single location, they have expanded into a national company. The locations capture that old school burger joint ambiance. The staff here is friendly and my burger and fries was an overall positive experience. With its close proximity to the University of Central Florida (UCF), I am confident that they draw a good portion of their clientele from the University of Central Florida (UCF), both faculty and staff. All in all, I enjoyed my meal here and I would definitely recommend this particular location of Five Guys. I will give it an overall rating of four stars. Go check it out. read more

Today was a bogo burger day. I totally understand that it's going to be busy and expected about a 30 min max wait. It was busy but not insane. I wait to order and nobody will even look at me, so I place it on the app. Fast forward an hour, I ask multiple workers about my order and the status. By then, they're almost closed, there's only me and a handful of people waiting left. I noticed at least 20 people who ordered after me get their food before mine. I didn't have anything crazy: 2 cheeseburger with toppings and a milkshake. I see one of the workers check on my order by himself, since he was about to make my milkshake, and he said something along the lines of "where is the order" and something about it taking a while. Then later he checks again and looks for it, then talks to a coworker about my order. I don't know what was so wrong?? Finally an hour and a half later (yes 90 minutes later), and after they've closed, I received my order. That was the worst and most insane experience I've ever had, no apologies, no sympathy, none of the workers ended up providing me with a status check. I've always been a really big fan of Five Guys, and the newer locations are so much larger and cleaner than I remember! It was a pleasant surprise to find that the complimentary peanuts have made a comeback too! I ordered the little cheeseburger since I just load on the toppings, as well as a small fry. My friend and I have learned that we can just share one of the latter since they always add so many extra fries to the bag at the end! This location has indoor and outdoor seating that works for groups, and it's on the busy part of University Blvd, so there's plenty to walk to if you have to work off the calories right away. Definitely worth my $10-$15! read more

Very nice location. There's only one problem dealing with 5guys. Everyone knows they're famous for their fries that you get in the cup of the size you buy and the extra scoop scattered in the bottom of the bag (to go). One day you'll get a scoop of fries and the next you'll get a baby scoop. One thing many of us like with fast food is consistency. There is no standard when it comes to fries and this is not the only location that does. After today I'm pretty much done with 5guys. Keep in mind large fries are 8 bux. read more

Five guys is a chain, very glad one came to the area. All the employees are students but still ran efficiently. Food is made to order so expect a wait. It is always well worth it. Food is consistently good, always fresh and hot. What they lack in menu items they make up for in flavors. A casual burger establishment where everything is purchased a la cart and you can add as many fixings as your heart desires. I love that you are witnessing your food being prepared and that they always put a scoop of fries in the bag. The fries just happen to be some of the best at this price point always fresh and hot and I love they tell you where the potatoes came from that day! Great take out or dine in with a mixture of low tops and high tops for casual dining in seats of 4. Don't forget your milkshake, love that the add ins are always free! All team members are wearing mask and gloves. Will absolutely be back as it is a family favorite :) read more

Five Guys makes a super good burger that is consistent every single time. It doesn't matter if you order in across the country or down the street you are going to get the same great quality burger. Fries too because chances are they are all coming from the same farm. This particular location was not very busy when I visited. There were just a couple orders a head of me. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger w/ mayo, mustard, ketchup, grilled onions, lettuce, and pickles. I also ordered a regular order of Cajun fries. My order was ready in about 10 minutes. I picked up my order from the pick up counter and sat down. The everything in a brown sack, the burger wrapped in foil and fries served in a paper cup with a huge scoop of bag fries. The burger was served on a Kaiser bun, the patty's were nicely cooked and juicy, the cheese was all the way melted and the lettuce was nice and crispy. The fries were cooked to a nice golden brown and well seasoned with their Cajun seasoning. A clean restaurant and friendly service rounded out a good dining experience. read more

typically I don't have an issue at five guys but I'm irritated because I normally take my food to go and my burgers usually get home soggy, so I've been starting to want my bun on the side. I went once and they put the bun on the side, placed a pick up order with wanting to put the bun on the side but couldn't so when I get there I asked and since I had put no bun cause I didn't want it sitting there getting soggy. the employee told me I couldn't get buns. which really annoyed me, I had already paid 26 dollars for two burgers and a small fry and then I had to go and spend extra money because I couldnt get buns and on top of that I had to wait for my food and I got there after my pick up time. either make a button for bun on the side or figure out how to not get them so soggy. read more

When ever I want a consistently delicious simple burger, I go to Five Guys. I've gone to many different locations, and they maintain taste and quality... until now. Last night I stopped by the Five Guys on University for the first time, and picked up a bacon cheeseburger for myself, a little bacon burger for my cousin, and a small order of Cajun fries that we shared. Both our burgers had less bacon than usual, I could hardly taste the mayo ketchup and he complained about the same, so it barely had any. The fries were way too salty. Both my cousin and I were craving burgers, and were left disappointed. I usually go to Five Guys over Burgerfi, as I find Five Guys to be more consistent than the latter. I now know that Five Guys is in the same boat. From now on when I crave that type of burger, I'll have to debate whether driving all the way to the Five Guys at Waterford Lakes, or checking the Burgerfi that's on University and Alafaya. In terms of the interior of the restaurant, it's kept clean. I stopped by around 7:00 pm, and there were a couple of groups, but didn't have to wait to order, and the order was ready in about 10 minutes.
