The staff was friendly and clear when confirming my order and everything felt efficient without being rushed. My food was ready by the time I got to the window and everything was correct. The chicken fingers were hot and crispy, the fries were fresh, and the Texas toast was warm and buttery. The Cane's sauce was included which I always appreciate. It tasted good and I added some garlic cilantro to enhance the flavor even more. The cheesy plantain bites were a huge disappointment. They were supposed to be make of sweet plantains and there was barely any sweetness to them. The cheese filling was so bland. Altogether these bites had no flavor and were a total waste of money. With that growth comes the inevitable restaurants and today I stopped in the Chipotle Mexican Grill here in Lake Nona. Chipotle Mexican Grill is my go-to when it comes th fast food. It has a welcoming ambiance, the staff is usually friendly and the food is not only good, but relatively healthy, especially when compared to those international fast food burger chains. I normally order a burrito bowl and I do switch up the proteins, but I would have to say that I probably get the steak or chicken the most (or sometimes I get half chicken and half steak). Lately, I have also been having the carnitas (pork) quite a bit. All in all, Chipotle is a great option if you are looking for a fast food option.
