Had lunch and were looking for a sweet treat after. This Culver's was just down the street from the hotel and decided to stop in for a treat. My wife had a small Vanilla cup and I had a small Vanilla Malt.As we sat our order was brought right out to us.Frosty and delicious, with plenty of Malt for me!

Flavor of the day -- toffee crunch

This was a pretty good Culver's. It's fairly new and very clean. We walked over after dinner at a nearby restaurant. Thought we'd get some dessert. The flavor of the day -- a toffee crunch in a vanilla custard -- sounded appealing so I got a scoop in a dish. It had a lot of crunchy heathbar like chunks in it. Our friends got a chocolate cone and a mix in with chocolate and peanut butter (!). The custard is quite rich on its own, so the peanut butter was a bit much. But we still enjoyed our after dinner "treat". Custard was never my first choice of desserts -- I'm a gelato or Italian ices gal myself -- but it's my husband's absolute favorite. That is why we are at the nearest Culver's location often -- no matter where we travel.,,

This experience was a miss. No Spoon or straw, no ketchup, no cocktail sauce. ... but at least I got a few napkins. Not entirely a fail but kind of sort of is. Really couldn't enjoy the shake or the fries or impulse purchase shrimps.

They have greeters but their mouths are not fully covered. For Shame!

Many apologies and respect to the In and Out Burger fans out there, but Culvers makes a better fast food burger. And what a burger it is (again, no disrespect to What-A-Burger fans). This midwest chain puts out some of the tastiest burgers in fast food. So much so, when it's time for a cheat day to eat a real burger, I go for their combination of bacon, cheese, burger, lettuce, tomato, red onion and mayo. And when I'm extra unhealthy, I do a double on grilled sourdough that's actually grilled. This location in Lake Nona seems to do it better than some of the other locations I've been to. I hope the new one opening in East Orlando does it as good as this one. Seeing the "Coming Soon" sign made me hungry for a burger to finish out 2021. They also do a heck of a fried cod too and during lent, they do another fried fish as well. Their shrimp is ok. Their chicken is ok. Their pot roast is pretty good. That pork sandwich sucks unless you're from Indiana. I just don't get it probably like you don't get why I put fries in salad. Burgers and Cheese Curds, Burgers and Cheese Curds, Burgers and Cheese Curds. That's why it's 5 stars!

Stopped here our first night in town. Culver's reminds us of a place up in the Rochester, NY area called Bill Gray's. Awesome burgers, crinkle cut fries and homemade frozen custard. We ordered 2 kids (cheeseburger) meals and a Double Butterburger meal. Everyone loved their meals! Our family ate every last bite! The kiddos loved their FREE frozen custard included with their kid's meals. The staff here are top notch! Zach took our order and brought us our food and was awesome! My husband enjoyed talking to hockey with him while I looked over the menu. Price is higher than the usual fast food burger but the quality is better. $24 for 2 kids meals and an adult meal.

This is the spot. A fellow Gamecock introduced me to this great fast food place on our way back from SC. This is my daughter and mines spot for shakes and burgers. The burgers are fresh and delicious, the fries and good and crispy, and best of all they have the amazing tasting shakes. Not like that isn't brought but they also had cheese curds or fried cheese for those not in the know. I will say they are not as fast as normal fast food places but that's because the quality is better and I don't mind waiting a few minutes fir better tasting food. Overall, great place to eat.

We've always wanted to try this place because we've heard that the burgers are cooked in butter and have other good things about this establishment. We came here on an early Saturday evening before 6 pm in early October. There was plenty of seating and not crowded at all. We ordered burgers, fries, curds, etc. The food came out less than 10 minutes but we were underwhelmed with the food. It wasn't hot, I'm fact the food tastes cold like it had been sitting there for a while. The place was not busy at all so I'm not sure what happened to the food? I want to go to another Culver's location to see if it was the same but disappointed in this experience

Pick up line... different setup. Let's see how this goes!

Craving the soft serve here and wanting to try the UBE…read more They offer samples of the custards if you are not sure which to get. I sampled the vanilla and ube. Both were delicious but the UBE stood out for me. This time it was not as packed and warm temp like it can be at times here. Ordered the Maiko Parfait in Ube : soft-serve with mochi balls, Japanese chestnut, adzuki red beans, sponge cake, corn flake, & agar jelly for $9ish. It was a delicious creamy not too sweet ube soft serve that had a delicious taste of ube. It was bright purple with the yummy-ness of this creamy ube flavor not the flavor im used to in filipino version ice creams. It had the mochi balls and chesnut - Corn flakes, Matcha sponge cake - Red beans, and jelly. I love this dessert. The interesting part of this soft serve - It was slow to melt! It was sturdy enough that when you take your time and enjoy it - It does not melt so fast unlike other soft serves. Would def come back again and get UBE!

We walked into a cute and welcoming space with a menu built around showcasing matcha in different forms rather than treating it as just another flavor option. The atmosphere is cozy and fits the theme well, though seating is limited and it can get crowded during busy times, making it better suited for a quick dessert stop or grabbing a drink to enjoy nearby rather than settling in for a long visit. The main reason to visit is the matcha soft serve and dessert selection. The matcha flavor is noticeably rich and earthy, with a stronger tea profile compared to many sweeter matcha desserts. The soft serve has a smooth, creamy texture and works especially well in combinations like matcha shaved ice, floats, or parfait-style creations. The matcha shaved ice stands out with layers of shaved ice, matcha soft serve, red bean, mochi, and Japanese chestnuts, creating a dessert that has different textures in every bite. The combination of the creamy soft serve with the chewy mochi and the slight bitterness of the matcha creates a balanced dessert that does not rely solely on sugar for flavor. The drink menu gives plenty of ways to experience matcha, from hot and iced matcha drinks to floats and specialty creations. Options like matcha with ube, matcha lattes with foam, and hojicha drinks add variety for anyone who wants something beyond traditional matcha. The café also offers coffee options, which makes it easier for groups with different preferences to find something they enjoy. The matcha lattes are well balanced, with the earthy notes of the tea coming through clearly without being masked by milk or sweetness. Beyond matcha, the menu includes other Japanese-inspired desserts like taiyaki, mochi-based items, and seasonal offerings. The combination of traditional flavors and playful presentations makes the café feel like a dessert destination rather than just a drink shop. The desserts are also visually appealing, with the kind of presentation that makes them worth taking a photo before digging in. The taiyaki are crisp on the outside and filled with a sweet red bean paste that contrasts nicely with the cold soft serve. Service is friendly and helps keep the experience smooth even when the café is busy. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and make it easy to choose between the many matcha options, offering clear descriptions of the flavor profiles and texture differences between the soft serve, shaved ice, and latte options. Because the café has a strong focus on quality matcha and specialty desserts, it can get popular during peak hours, so visiting outside the busiest times may make it easier to find seating and take your time with the menu. Matcha Cafe Maiko is a great spot for anyone who enjoys matcha or wants to try Japanese-style matcha desserts. The combination of rich matcha flavor, creative menu options, and a cozy café atmosphere makes it stand out from typical dessert shops. It feels like a place worth visiting when you want a matcha experience that goes beyond a basic latte, offering a dessert that feels both authentic and indulgent without being overly sweet.

Another good ice cream place to add to my list of favorite places to go in Orlando!…read more The ice cream is a perfect combo of dense, soft, and creamy. From the top of the swirl to the very bottom of the inside of my cone, there was not a single air pocket to be found. I got the chocolate flavored ice cream, and every bite was chocolatey and creamy heaven. Now, if you know your desserts, the cone that is used is usually known as a chimney cake. It is a sweet pastry that is soft on the inside and has a glass-like crunchy exterior that is coated with cinnamon and sugar. It's a little like eating a cruffin, but with a crunchier exterior due to their special way of making it. Definitely worth trying at least once if you've never tried it before. Overall, if you're looking to impress a foodie with something sweet, decadent, and pretty, I'd say give this place a go. The ice cream is as perfect and delicious as you see it.
