I purchased a frosty medium for my child and she said it's not like the poster it's not filled to the top. Have been here twice recently picking up an order placed via the app. Both orders were accurate and ready on time. Standard Wendy's food and experience. Location is can get busy, but so far I've not had to wait. Got a free small chili as part of my meal! It didn't have a whole lot of flavor but temperature and texture were good. Not a bad location but food quality definitely needs some work comparing to other Wendy's and fast food stores. I got a burrito and it wasn't even properly rolled as a burrito but just folded into a square. McDonald's hasn't ever messed this up so I was expecting a bit better from Wendy's. The following review is specific to one of the store managers who has no business being in a management position. His name is Justino. My husband placed an order for pick up via Door Dash. There was already a wait but that was to be expected as this was a Tuesday evening. When I approached the order speaker I communicated I'm here to pick up a Door Dash Order and indicated his name. The girl who assisted me communicated she couldn't find the order. She transferred me to the management Justino; I relayed the same message to him. His response was there is no order. I say well I have the receipt indicating it is paid for and at this location. He rudely responds ok. I ask what can I do he rudely says as I just told you you can come up with the receipt to see if we have the order. No problem, I wait in line do the same. When I meet Justino he states this is a Door Dash order you didn't tell me that; I told him I relayed this message to him and the other girl. He rudely tells me there is nothing he can do as the order is not there. I show him the receipt, the store name, all the details. I'm also speaking to my husband as this is happening who said I'm happy to call to speak with him. Justino tells me there is nothing he can do and chastises me by telling me that my husband needs fo be the one to pick up the order- which makes zero sense. Im 6 months pregnant so naturally at this point Im annoyed by the lack of customer service. My husband calls and speaks to Justino who again said there is nothing he can do. I ask if there is anyone else who can help him he states no. I say ok I will wait a little longer to see if the order comes through as it is paid for; he asks me to move to the side but needless to say based on his lack of customer service I knew he would brush me off so I stated I will wait here. Naturally this creates delays and a crazy line starts to from at an already busy time. Another manager (something Justino neglected to share as he stated no one else could help) named Lucy came over and gave me my order. I thanked her and she was very apologetic. If you're going to work in the food industry, particularly as a manger, you need to have some competence and some level of customer service skills. I can't imagine what his employees thought when their own manager is willing to dismiss a paying customer, a PREGNANT one at that. At the very least, some kindness is to be expected. I'd like to thank Lucy for resolving what should've been a nonissue but please brave yourself if you need to deal with Justino. It seems this is a common occurrence based on former reviews. read more

In terms of food...Wendy's is one of the better options for fast food. That said, this location SUCKS with service. When slammed at dinner there is only one register taking orders...and the employees are slow AF. Whoever designed the drive through should be shot...if there's more than 3 cars it becomes a cluster-you know what to get in the parking lot. read more

Every time I come here, the same thing happens. The first car goes through, I time the interval until the next one does, and then I calculate the approximate time that I will be going through. So say I show up, 8 cars in front of me, 45 seconds between #1 & #2, I have 6 minutes of wait time, no? Well, hell no! There I am, daydreaming and starting to get into deep stuff. By the time I get to the window 19 minutes and 23 seconds later, I had realized that life is just chock full of boring waiting around for food, and then you die. The food is good when they get the order right. 20% of the time when I order there is an error but the manager Maria generally assists with a smile if she's in. This happens to be a VERY busy location however a lack of consideration on the patrons and some staffs part can make your experience here go awry. Meh. While the renovations are nice, the total inability of drive-through staff to speak and understand English makes the experience suffer substantially. While i realize these are entry level jobs for little pay, there's also no reason to abandon civility and a sense of personal responsibility, and responsibility to the employer. I don't understand why we tolerate this... other than it's one of the alarmingly few late-night options in Nanuet. The food is, well, Wendy's. Yesterday I bit into a chicken tender that fell apart quickly and strangely as I felt that i quickly spit out what I took into my mouth. Good damn thing I did as I looked at the tender and disgustingly it was red and NOT COOKED! I went up to the order area and spoke with the manager and all she would say was that "well it is a very thick piece"...What??? Then after my persistence at it being disgusting and wrong she admitted it was not cooked but then all she did was ask "what else would you want instead"? NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING after seeing that! So I got my money back and thats the end of this place. That is horrifying SO whenever you order your tenders there be cautious and dont swallow till you see whats in there IS COOKED! Stupid me should have taken a picture of the disgusting thing before my eyes...This is a major issue that I will pursue with Wendys Corporate. You CANNOT uncook your chicken - how does that happen? Arent there standards and timings to prevent that? Well obviously not here. Then you have to try and communicate with the staff and they no habla englaze very well so there is a breakdown in what the urgency of the situation should be. I saw NO urgency from manager when she went to employee who did not cook it and all she did was shrug her shoulders? That was unacceptable- thats a major offense and they both in turn shrug shoulders and move on..I should have raised more holy hell as many others would have done but will do so with Corporate- here basically the best you can do is get your money back with a half hearted "sorry for that- now that you are disgusted and sick feeling- what would you like to eat instead"? I don't know where the bad reviews on this Wendy's in Nanuet are coming from, because we've been going for years and have never had a bad experience. Their food is good, served quickly, courteously, usually with a smile (especially if YOU smile, also) and efficiently. Maybe some are having issues with the drive in, which I have never used. We stick mainly to the various chicken sandwiches and the great salads. If I wanted to complain about anything, I might say the large salads could sometimes use an extra dressing, but that's no big deal because they will give one to you without question. I love when they have paper coupons, but wish I could get them by email, since I cannot get an app on my old phone. If I had to complain, this would be it. There are many like me. read more

You apologize. She says "I said sorry". No really you didn't and thanks for the second bag of cold fries from the same spot you grabbed the first. Haven't been to this Wendy's in a long time. The whole facility has been re-done. It's very nice and a huge improvement! Food was good - great single burger and if you sub the garden salad for the fries you will be pleasantly surprised. It's a real salad, peppers and all. Beautiful renovation! but I ordered inside and specifically asked the cashier to remove cheese from two burgers as my mother is lactose. All SIX of my ordered burgers had cheese on them. The receipt said no cheese too so I'm baffled as to how cheese still ended up on the burgers. read more

The renovations made this place so different. Staff is extremely attentive to the cleanliness of this place and they constantly clean up the garbage that you normally expect on tables, floors and the drink counter at other fast food places. Food is good but I had a few iffy experience with it but overall it's better than any other fast food places at it's level. Instead of McDonald's, try coming here.
