    Philly Cheesesteak
    Art C.

Surprisingly good I stopped by this morning just after they opened for a Philly Cheesesteak. A smiling person greeted me and took my order, and within a few minutes I had my food. I was able to watch my food being cooked, everything is out in the open, as Charley's is known for. The sandwich was surprisingly good, although I wasn't really surprised. This was not my first Charley's Philly Cheesesteak. It is surprisingly good for food court fare. The bread was soft, the sandwich tasted just like it was from Philly. Sure, a bit more meat would have been nice, but it wasn't really lacking. Charley's is located in the Palisades Mall food court. There is quite a lot of common seating available and being so early I had my choice of seats.

    Philly cheesesteak- pretty good

My partner and I have had our fair share of philly cheesesteaks as this is one of his favorite meals. This one is pretty good but far from the best (in the world) as their banner claims. They give a decent amount of meat but it could have used a bit more flavor. The meat was not beefy tasting and was not oily which I really appreciated. Overall would recommend.

I love eating here whenever I come to Palisades Center Mall. The food is consistently good, the staff are friendly, and everything is neat. I got the philly cheesesteak which comes with grilled onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and white American cheese. I added mayo, lettuce, and tomato. I also got the jalapeño pepper fries which comes with jalapeños, jalapeño lime seasoning, smoky bacon, shredded cheddar, cheese sauce, and ranch. This item is only available for a limited time and I'm so glad I was able to try it! The jalapeños are the perfect level of spicy. Delicious! I will definitely be back again~

Quick fast service. Great subs that are continually made with great quality products. Never had a bad meal.

Food is good. Service is horrible. They are rude and always mess up. But the food is good... Eventually

This isn't just another stop at your…read morelocal chicken joint, it's the kind of meal that makes you wish you had an ice-cold beer in hand to go with it. We've driven past Don Chicken plenty of times saying, "We have to try this," and on a Friday night we finally made it our date night. The spot itself is simple, with plenty of parking, and fully focused on serving must-try Korean fried chicken. I walked in ready to order one of everything, but the cashier quickly realized I was new and helped narrow it down to chicken, dumplings, and an order of fries. Let me be clear, if you're picturing small buffalo-style wings from a local wing spot, reset your expectations. These were full-size wings. We ordered them plain and soy-glazed, and both were excellent. The dumplings, also soy-glazed, were just as good. From the first bite, the crunch and flavor hit immediately. It wakes up your senses and makes you realize this isn't just chicken. You can taste the care that goes into the prep, and it absolutely shows. Despite being busy, the service was friendly and attentive, which always makes the experience better. When we finished eating, it looked like we barely made a dent, plenty of leftovers that were happily enjoyed by the family later at home. If I could change one thing, it would be having a beer to pair with the meal, but that's a minor detail. This is a quality spot and an easy go-to for Korean fried chicken in the Hudson Valley. 5/5 stars.

I love that the owner took creative liberty to have Korean-imported exclusive flavors (both of which I ordered). This exclusivity makes this place unique. I love that the owner cares about the quality and remains knowledgeable about healthy techniques to maintain high-standard food quality. The fries alone are delicious with or without the cheese snowing seasoning. The cheese snowing has a unique subtle sweetness and faint sharp cheese taste, which is impressively yummy. The onion rings have a perfect crunch and great buttery earthy flavor. The purring seasoning is not too cheesy, has a faint nutty, sweet flavor that pairs with the parsley. Okay, enough about the food, haha, the service is stunning compared to some restaurants I've been to. The owner is polite, humble, genuine, knowledgeable, friendly, positive, and has a radiant energy that leaves you feeling happy. I loved the conversation we exchanged. The owner even retains that energy with every customer that enters, which was truly impressive. The above and beyond nature combined with strict food quality standards and care is amazing. So food and service are stellar. What about the ambiance? The energy is a calm, peaceful, positive environment where you are allowed to enjoy your meal in serenity even with a TV on. Overall, this restaurant well earned all 5 stars, and if I could rate above 5 stars, I would! Thank you for a delightful meal and remarkable experience.

If you don't wanna read: I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!…read more I originally started looking to try a new pizza spot when I noticed our local pizzerias would reheat whole plain pies they had out all day and sell them to us. Needless to say, they tasted stale! Fast forward to finding Village Pizza. Let's talk about the customer service, just for a second. I'm telling you their customer service cannot be matched. I have not had exceptional customer service from an establishment and/or pizzeria on day one that does not wither at some point down the line. Until I started ordering from Village Pizza. Everyone, and I mean everyone I've met has been nothing short of delightful. Which is refreshing if you've tried other pizzerias. From remembering names to remembering orders. I have personally seen this treatment of every person that walks through their door. And! The time they tell you it's gonna be ready, is the actual time. Now on to the food. The garlic knots are flaky and flavorful. Pizza is delicious with or without toppings. It's a thinner crust. It's tasted fresh every time and this has become a regular spot so I can't tell you how many times I've ordered from them. Quality food every time. Quality service every time. I've said it once. I'll say it again. I'm a sucker for consistency. I recommend this place to anyone who will listen. Go pay them a visit. I promise you won't regret it.

Even when you're hungry, it didn't taste delicious. Later that night, we realized the order was missing the one Diet Coke can that we paid for. We were charged $1.80, even though the same soda at a grocery store might cost around 50 cents. I don't know what happened or where the mistake occurred -- whether the restaurant forgot to include the soda or the delivery person didn't bring it -- but the fact is I paid for it and didn't receive it. Today, Saturday 6/13/2026 at 12:27 PM, we called and spoke with Tattiana. She said she would talk to her boss and ask what to do. When I asked when she would call back, she said she didn't know. It shouldn't take a manager to fix a missing $1.80 soda. Any staff member should be able to resolve such a simple issue, but instead it was delayed and ignored. At 3:36 PM, I called again, and no one answered the phone. It felt like they didn't want to pick up because they were avoiding responsibility. I called twice, and I'm not going to keep chasing a can of soda. Until I posted this review, I still didn't receive any call back. This is not about the price -- it's about honesty and giving customers what they paid for. When I called, they could have simply said, "Please come pick it up." Instead, she only said, "I'm so sorry," without offering any solution. I don't like paying for something and not receiving it. As a business, they should be responsive and not ignore customers. Mistakes happen, but they should fix them. When I post this review on Google and Yelp, other customers will read it and take a lesson from this experience. Next time I order from any restaurant, I will check all items upon delivery instead of trusting the delivery person. I will not order from this place again.

They have updated the bar and the dining room. The wood is lighter. The bar doesn't smell like old beer any more. We get there at 11:30. By noon, there's already a long wait. Service is friendly. The chicken wings are a top three rendition. We always order ours crispy. They stopped serving celery on the side a while ago. As a purist, I bring a ziplock bag of celery sticks. I say raise the price of an order of wings by 50 cents and serve celery again! The waffle fries are great. They have a surprisingly diverse menu with a big selection of beers. There are desserts, but I have never been disciplined enough to save room. It's cash only. This is the platonic ideal of a burger and wing joint. Set the celery sticks free!

Still consistently delicious. Large meaty wings and drummies, connected. Lots of sauce, to the point when you break them apart, there's a lot of splatter (I think I hit a kid with some sauce about two tables away). Service very good, prices comparable to other wing places. I asked my waiter how many pounds they sold on Super Bowl Sunday. He mentioned "between 18 and 19 thousand pounds!!!" Wow, double wow. Vast majority are ordered in advance and this year they cut off orders about a week before the game. This trip was a solo run for me. My wingmen were nowhere to be found. 4 very sloppy stars
