Onion Rings, Soy Garlic Chicken & Crispy Chicken

Delicious Korean fried chicken with quick service. It was more than enough for two people.

Chicken is so crunchy and fresh. Even with sauce, it holds its bite. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Love that you can sit down and eat or grab for take out. Comfortable pace to sit down.

I've ordered from Don's Chicken a few times (both dine-in and takeout), and for the most part, it's been a great experience! The fried chicken is crispy, flavorful, and delicious, and the Ddokbokki comes in this huge bowl that's well worth the money. My only issue was this one time when I called in my order ahead of time and showed up to pick it up. The person who took my order said it would be ready in about 15 minutes. I showed up 20 minutes later, and the place was closed--30 minutes before their posted closing time. I saw the worker chilling in his car while my hungry group and I stood at the door. We looked at him, confused, but he just turned away and started looking at his phone. Honestly, this place is great, and I'm so happy to finally have some good Korean Fried Chicken in the area. I was just really bummed after driving all the way there and having to scramble for a Plan B at the last minute. I'll still be back though! This is still a solid establishment with one hiccup (from my experience)

First experience was ok, but we have no plans to return. Korean fried chicken should be extra crispy with great flavor. We sampled large combos of both the original crispy and the soy garlic. Neither was particularly crispy. The original was not even that flavorful. Every fried chicken restaurant closer to me is much better, so, no plans to return. The soy garlic was ok. It's similar to the original, but with a sweet coating. It's not overly full of garlic, which I think is good. There's plenty of parking in the shopping center and some tables inside. The chicken pieces are a good size. Bigger than KFC but a lot smaller than hangry Joe's. What was repulsive was the pickled radish that comes with the large combos. Upon opening the container, the aroma almost made a couple of us ill. We closed the container and saved it for trash day. I like pickled radishes that are traditionally served with sushi, but this stuff was plain repulsive. Again, the chicken is ok, but nothing special to warrant the price or make me return.

Delicious chicken wings! I tried a few different versions, regular fried, sweet and sour and a garlic type (can't remember the name). Also the shrimp tempura was delicate and wonderful. Very yummy and crisp! I can't wait to go back!

The food was disgusting. If I can give this place a negative 5 I would. The fries were super greasy. The (crispy chicken) drum sticks were the thickest drum sticks I have ever seen in my life. Not even the bronx chicken is that thick (and that says a lot). The wings... horrible. The egg potato Mayo looked and tasted like a 1996 public school watered down macaroni and cheese. If you have a problem going to the bathroom please order the Pickled radish. It will send you straight to the bathroom. Smells like a dead rat in a small non ventilated room. Disaster. I haven't left the bathroom in two days smh.

Gyuzo Japanese BBQ really is a fun experience. We ate plenty, enjoyed it all, and... my son learned…read morehow to grill. We opted for the Essentials package this time. While I do love the duck breast and lamb chops included with the Classic package, we all felt Essentials was enough for this visit. Celia was our waitress. While things were a little slow getting started, once our first order went in, the food started flying out. Everything we ordered throughout the evening arrived much faster than it did on my previous visit. The menu makes it sound like they'll throttle you to only a couple of items at a time, but that really wasn't our experience. We were consistently able to order several items per person, so there was always something on the grill, more food on the way, and plenty to keep us chomping away. Our favorites this time? The top blade, brisket, hanger steak, pork belly, and even the salmon ceviche, which was surprisingly refreshing between rounds of grilled meat. We did have a couple of hiccups, but Celia was eager to make things right. After we received the wrong shrimp twice, she took it upon herself to get the manager involved. They tracked down the correct shrimp and brought it out. Thanks! Speaking of the manager, Andy was terrific. After another unpleasantry at our table, he came over and sincerely apologized several times. It was obvious he genuinely wanted to make things right. After we took a quick selfie together, he got us with a few complimentary cocktails. I have to say, anything here with cucumber in it is delicious here. Super refreshing. By the end of the meal, my son was a fluent griller and even said he liked Gyuzo more than the other all-you-can-eat BBQ places we've visited. That's about as good an endorsement as I can give. We'll certainly be back.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I felt it was…read morewarranted. Unfortunately, we never even got to eat at the restaurant because of how disorganized the front desk was. We were quoted a 35-45 minute wait and were told to join the Yelp waitlist. We stood nearby the entire time waiting to be called. We never received any notification on our phones, and when we checked the app, our status had somehow changed from "waiting" to "cancelled." When we spoke with the hostess, she apologized and told us to wait because she would seat us next. Instead, we watched four other parties get seated before us. After waiting even longer, we went back to ask what was happening, only to be told it would be another 15-20 minutes. From what we observed, it also seemed like the restaurant was prioritizing seating larger parties over smaller ones. I can't say for certain whether that was their policy, but that's certainly how it appeared from our experience as multiple larger groups were seated while we continued to wait despite being told we were next. I completely understand that popular restaurants get busy, and I have no issue waiting my turn. What I do have an issue with is poor communication and disorganization from the hostess team. Mistakes happen, but telling customers they'll be seated next and then repeatedly seating other parties first is unacceptable. To make matters worse, this was our second night this weekend trying to eat here, and once again we left without ever getting a table. Despite the inconvenience and poor experience, no one offered an apology beyond a brief acknowledgment, nor was there any attempt to make things right or show goodwill for the time we had wasted. The food may be excellent, but we'll never know because the front-of-house experience was so poorly managed. A great restaurant starts with good customer service, and unfortunately, the hostess team left a very poor first impression. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Today I was craving a broth or noodle dish. I've been searching through various Japanese, Korean,…read moreand Chinese spots, and honestly, there were only two places where I actually liked this kind of stew. However, this restaurant ( MIGAM) completely exceeded my expectations! Everything is made with high-quality ingredients, and they prepared my takeout order exactly as I requested. SPICY BRISKET JJAMPPONG It's a spicy dish, but since spice levels vary from place to place--and being Mexican, I'm used to spicy food--I didn't want to take any chances, so I ordered it medium spicy. They hit the nail on the head! It was absolute perfection. The broth was rich, thick, and packed with flavor--delightful in every single way. The portion size is so generous that it will easily cover two meals, and I'm sharing some with my husband. It came with four sides (banchan), including kimchi, and I can honestly say it's the best kimchi I've ever had in my life--and I've tried Korean food both in Mexico and here in the U.S. I first visited this restaurant in Tenafly over a year ago when I believe they were just starting out. Back then, I met a woman who I believe is the owner. I am so glad to see they still maintain that same phenomenal quality! They cook with such attention to detail that I no longer have to worry about looking for another place to get this kind of food. Thank you so much, blessings, and congratulations on the wonderful work and dedication you put into preparing the most delicious Korean dishes I've ever tasted. See you very soon!

It seems like they only really have two people on staff, so be patient! The staff is very nice and try their best. But especially if three or more tables are filled - food will take awhile to arrive. The menu has a lot of standard Korean fare - Korean pancakes, bibimbops, noodle soups (black bean noodles, jjampong, kalguksu) and stews (galbi tang, bulgogi stew). The seafood pancake has more veggies and seafood than pancake. I've had the galbi tang twice, which is also hearty and packed with a lot of goodies. Worth a trip if you happen to be wandering around the Tenafly area. We will likely be back.

We were sat near a table of Moms who were accompanied by almost a dozen elementary school aged children. Their children were completely out of control... running sprints back and forth in the room, running laps around the tables bumping into other customers chairs, wrestling and laying on the floor and that goes without mentioning the noise. This party was finished eating before we were even sat at our table but the Moms continued to sit and drink for the duration of our entire meal while their children ran wild. At this point the dining room was turned playground and other patrons requested to not be sat for Hibachi. Others had to get up from the room and take a break from the chaos. The reason for this review which has very little to do with the actual restaurant, yet it does is.... This situation definitely danced the line below calling the police for a disorderly group but above the line of the management should've stepped in to inform these mothers they are causing a major disturbance to the entire restaurant, their meal is over and it's time for them to leave.
