Compared to the nanuet location that is known as the chipotle to avoid, this location is good. I like the food. They're not stingy with the portions. The service is good most the time. Only warning. The chicken was better quality than I've had at most other chipotle's lately. Staff member was friendly. I will say though, the lettuce was mostly wilted scraps - seems to be that way with most chipotles for some reason. They should prob take salad off the menu if they can't keep the lettuce fresh. This chipotle is probably one of the most solid in the area albeit more expensive then Nanuet (someone has to pay for the higher mall rent). food is usually tasty fresh and the portions are fair in comparison to the other locations that keep shaking and tapping the spoon. Great food (as always), super friendly staff ... but they need to speak up if they're going to blast their music. I had to ask the lady to repeat herself at least three times because I couldn't hear her at all; thank god she didn't give me attitude!! However ... for as popular as this place is, a few more tables could be added. There's only 4-5 sitting tables outside meant for 2 people and 3 eight people high chairs and a small bar which fits 5 people. read more

OK - it's Chipotle so my expectations should be low. Hopefully no good poisoning! First off, the attitude from every single staff member was nasty. So inconvenienced by a customer. My wife asked for steak on her bowl and they gave her chicken, only to ask "if she really wanted to change it". My wife is nicer than me and took the chicken. My daughter had a quesadilla, which apparently was cheese melted between aluminum foil. Impossible to get out. I had crispy tacos and they must have misheard my order since I apparently got taco soup. I didn't even realize it was on the menu! Finally, the quest and chips! Small...I can see lack of seating being a problem in prime times. Soda machine was broken...therefore bottled water for all. Food was on par with every other Chipotle I've been to, minus the chips...those were salty AF...and when I say salty, I mean chase them with a blood pressure pill salty. Portions also seemed skimpier than I'm used to, but that seems to be par for the course these days. That said, the service was on point, and the guac was as delightful as always. read more

The food is standard Chipotle fare, though we have stopped ordering sofritas because it has been too spicy, hot, and salty. When we inquired with the employees a couple of times, they said that it came pre-prepared and that they didn't add anything to it, even though we have had it from at least three other locations and it has been more mild. My biggest problem with this place, aside from the fact that tables and chairs seem rarely cleaned, is the attitude of the employees. One nearly walked right into me when he was leaving and rather than say "excuse me," strutted away. None are ever friendly, no one says thanks, and when you ask a question, they give blunt replies, if any. When I got the veggie bowl today, the amount of veggies put on it was about 1/2 the amount of meat on others' bowls. When I asked for more, they sloppily threw more on without a word. Is Chipotle meant to be in line with the service of Burger King or McDonald's? Even there I have received more manners and a more respectful attitude from employees who seem to care about providing a decent level of service. You would think that they were doing the customers a favor. Big news: without customers, you are out of a job. I am in no rush to go back, after staying away for awhile. Sadly, I am reminded why. One star for service and two for food. Since I can't give 1.5 stars, so, they get two. read more

Went with two friends, and we dint like how it went, my friend order a salad that was to spicy and the chicken had too much salsa that was she say, my burrito was ok I not a fan of NY burrito, they don't have too much table, so we had to share our table with two people with did not now, our table was in the middle of the line. Hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a Chipotle. First - the vegetables looked days old and they even asked twice if I wanted them telling me they were old. Then to go through just to be told they were out of dressing- bad. Then after wrapping my salad, they opened it to double check that I hadn't gotten guacamole to know what to charge me. And then change for 20 in 5's and quarters. That hurt. Rude cashiers and crappy service. Fail. I'll stick to Moe's til this chipotle is as good as the others. Update: After finishing my meal completely, I lowered my rating. Taco Bell tastes better. I go to the Chipotles in NYC all the time and they are great. This one - and even though it just opened - is no excuse to make food that can be outdone by a Taco Bell. Ordered four bowls at this location yesterday and the associates were very kind and poised. I like that this location isn't too popular yet for two reasons. First, there's never a line and you can actually get in and out in ten mins. (Go to Yonkers' Cross County location a weekday after work and you will want to never eat Chipotle again) Second, they don't rush like the NYC locations to keep the line moving. They actually took the time to make sure there was food (rice and meat) in my burrito bowls. Some locations can be skimpy and want to charge when you request more to be added. Only reason I can't give 5/5 is because the food needed a bit more flavoring. The chicken was a bit bland. read more

Whilst the food selection for the most part is both entertaining and flavourful, I find the steak to be consistently chewy, suggesting they've over cooked the steak. I do wish Chiptole would allow customers to request a meat tailored to their liking, and while this may appear impractical, I propose they cook the meat to various different extents beforehand and make them available for selection, i.e. medium, medium rare, etc. read more

This place is a decent place to eat but let me tell you about the seating arrangement or the seats that they provide. Myself and my two kids nine and four got food and sat on their chairs. My son who is four was sitting fell through the chair. The reason why he fell through the chair is because the chairs they have has only two backings and a large opening. He slid through the opening and he fell hit his head and hit his elbow was very embarrassing for him I felt terrible the only other optionsIs high seats like barstools which again doesn't provide anything for children. read more

Taste was in line with standard chipotle but I was the ONLY customer in the store and still felt rushed. The loud music made it so I had to legitimately yell for her to hear me say no quac (as the spoon was held above my bowl) and then the package was COVERED in sour cream. I asked if they could just swap out the lid so it wouldn't make a mess (I eat half now and half later so I don't want to have sour cream all over everything) and she just threw another tin lid in the bag (which got crushed and also covered in sour cream. A bit pricey and decent food. Here is where I had a problem. -This place was very messy. I get that its in a mall and between the IMAX theatre and a comedy club so you will have a large influx of people but there was so much garbage on the floor and table. I've seen McDonald's bathroom cleaner than this dining area of Chipotle. It probably wouldn't take more than 10 minutes just to briefly sweep the area at least. -A couple of teenagers came up here with Chinese food from the third floor when I was eating. Apparently they knew whoever was on shift so they weren't kicked out. They did not order anything from Chipotle. While they took the limited indoor seating, ACTUAL CHIPOTLE CUSTOMERS didn't have seats after they got their food and had to go outdoors. I get that this is a scary state we are all in. And depending on grocery stores and delivery food is what we have. And Chipotle is taken advantage of the situation by keeping their app open to process orders for delivery when they in fact are closed! They partner with door dash and when the door dash driver called to say they are not open and doesn't know what to do, I thought he was out of his mind. I tried calling. Then the driver needed to come to my location to finish his route so he could continue to work. I sent my husband to the store to figure things out and nope lights out! Store is closed and who ever is running the joint left their app capabilities on so people could get a run around! Not only did it take over an hour to get to this point in which I could have ordered any where else that was actually opened but now I have to wait to dispute a charge. I hope others will read this before ordering and not make the same mistake! We are all trying to deal in this time and don't need to be taken for a ride! read more

From the moment I stepped in, I knew this was going to become my new favorite place. The food is nice and tasty, the toppings are delicious, and the style is just right for me.
