Arrived in town late night. I hate when that happens. I had the fried chicken sandwich, they put way to much mayo on it, so I had to scrap the most I could off. The single tomato slice was bathed in the stuff. No bueno. The sandwich was okay, a little on the greasy side and definitely haphazardly put together. It needed more lettuce too. I absolutely HAD to update my review because this is by FAR the best fast food! Where do I begin? Maybe with the stuff no one would expect like the fact that they have an AWESOME lemonade menu! Aside from Wildberry (which was JUST discontinued despite me not being able to try it) I've tried all of their lemonades and their ALL good! Not just good in taste but in quality! Real quickly I never have ANY problems with service! It's always fast and friendly! I'll be honest and say that I have a normal order that doesn't include a salad lol! BUT I always see their salad menu and am impressed! Most places don't try and have a good salad game but HERE they do! They have like 5 salads on the menu that are all the same price AND you can get a half order even! Both the salad and lemonade menus are their OWN section on the menu! Like they have their own section not just grouped together with other things in their own section! My normal order is a Biggie Bag with Honey Mustard dipping sauce and a Peach Lemonade then ANOTHER Bacon Double Stack and a small chocolate Frosty unless I'm feeling like a medium lol! I believe Wendy's when they say they have fresh never frozen beef! It tastes very similar to Five Guys which I KNOW is fresh beef! They also always have great and fresh toppings and condiments on the burgers! I personally love the chicken nuggets (Spicy is fine but I get regular) and the fries! I'd probably have to say best Chicken Nuggets in the game and probably most real tasting! Fries are definitely Top 5 but I'd warn that they're probably better with a Frosty! (Dipped or just eaten at the same time you choose!) Obviously the Frosty is a classic but for me I think it's got to be the best chocolate ice cream out there! Overall I have NO complaints (except the discontinuation of the Wildberry lemonade before I could try it!) Wendy's is like the same or better as Five Guys to me except faster and easier to get because you can drive thru! Everything tastes great and fresh which is hard to come by! Sometimes my opinions change of places but I don't think my opinion is changing anytime soon! (Part of the reason is that I only go every so often! Maybe every other week!) We ordered through Door Dash this evening. We placed an order for nugget combo meal with baked potato, and a BBQ chicken sandwich with baked potato and drinks with both. The delivery was fast, the food was wrong and gross. They sent two chicken sandwiches instead of nuggets. No straws or silverware. My BBQ chicken was inedible...I don't know if it was old, freezer burned, or over cooked but it looked grey..and this has happened before. I have tried Door dash a couple of times from Wendy's and the orders have been wrong both times. As far as the quality of their food...it's very inconsistent and I question the quality of their chicken or if it is old. Get it together Wendy's and step up your game! read more

the food is usually ok, but the customer service is very unprofessional. i used to work fast food so i'm always really sweet to food service workers, but i still got an unnecessary attitude in return. also, i was parked out front for food, which is fine, but as soon as he walked away from my car after handing me the food, he started vaping before going back inside. a 2nd worker came out and even traded vapes with the guy... right in front of me. you'd figure they'd at least try to hide it or have a designated smoking area but i guess not. read more

Didn't realize it until I got home and I called and they tried calling me a liar even though I had the receipt and didn't want to apologize for the inconvenience. Not too elaborate of a review. All the tables that are not crooked are dirty, as in EVERY table. We finished our meal and still no one has come to clean. The woman who took my order kept getting it wrong, it was like speaking to a 7 year old and the wait was over 15 minutes. Who is running this place? I called the corporate number listed on the back of the receipt. I shared my experience and how frustrated I was. I asked for a call back and I received it just a couple of hours from sharing my complaint. The woman whom I spoke with quickly began to defend her staff, owner? Again LISTEN people! I'm not even going to give them 1 star. We ordered 2 Dave's burger combos and an asiago club combo for just under 30dollars, what a disappointment. The chicken didn't even cover the small bun, the burgers were sloppy, had just the rib of the lettuce totally inedible, we were missing an order of fries which was ok because they were cold and soggy anyway. I would give 0 stars if I could. Only good thing was my grandparents loved the chicken nuggets. Lobby was closed (totally fine) so we went through drive thru. $30 and a five minute wait later, our food was brought out to us. No napkins and no fork for my salad. I went to the lobby window to ask for a fork and was ignored for knocking on the window. The guy mopping the floors shrugged his shoulders at me and turned around. When I kept knocking and shouted that I needed a fork, he motioned for me to go through the drive thru. Drive thru was six cars long. We had good experiences here two mornings in a row with the new breakfast. Was in-town for work, staying at hotel that didn't include breakfast. The new menu is tasty! On the second morning, we got swapped with a sandwich we didn't order - probably the Baconator, but since the number of sandwiches was correct, we just ate it and moved on with our day. This location has been recently remodeled and seems to have improved their service. I have had similar issues like the other two reviews, but I have been here a few times letely to be pleasantly suprised. Clean, fast, and order specifications were in order! I'll be back! I really can't say enough good things about their drive thru quality, speed, friendliness and accuracy. I have an hour lunch and work in close proximity to Wendy's so I often do the drive-thru (often as in as often as humanly possible) because they are the FASTEST in Longview. I can be in and out with a good 50-55 minutes of my lunch left to run errands or just veg. Just for funsies, I made a note of how many times they got my order incorrect in a year: Once I got a Diet Coke instead of regular Coke and another time I did not get a straw but it was fine because previously I had been given 2 straws so I had one in my truck. So at a minimum, 3 visits a week for over a year and had 2 mishaps. Sometimes the food is a little on the over done side depending on what time you hit it and I hate the new fries (that's a corporate thing) but I have to say my food, 97% of the time, looks like you could take a picture of it for an ad right out of the wrapper. This Wendy's drive thru runs a tight ship and I hope their HQ are aware of it. read more

I've only been here once but I can already see where the first reviewer is coming from. The cashier messed up and shorted the customer ahead of me $5 in change. And then for my order they forgot the spicy nuggets. When I told the cashier he said that he never charged me for it (they were outta paper so they couldnt give me a receipt) but the manager who was standing next to him told him to just give me my nuggets anyways. This place has gone downhill. Have noticed a serious decline in the cleanliness of the restaurant for the last couple of years. Somebody needs to hire some new management, I'm not one to write a review, but it's gone on for too long. People that work there were just sitting together and visiting when there were no clean tables chairs were greasy from fingerprints, fountain machines are dirty along with screens that you don't want to touch. Come on employees you were hired to keep up the place. Terrible! Smart ass staff that was arguing about an employee leaving early. I heard the woman at the window say "We are out of medium fry boxes so put them in a large." Then they gave me a bunch of burnt fries in a medium box. The burger was average I guess for Wendy's standards but seems to have shrunk since the last Wendy's I visited. For the $7.00 price tag for my meal you can do much better at Burgerville or other burger joints close by that might cost a little more but provide better service and food. read more

My son and I visit this Wendys drive thru quite often as it is one of the only fast food places with healthy options, I love the Mediterranean Salad! The staff in the window is always very friendly but today, just now at 1:34pm on Friday November 3rd the older manager lady or whoever was bagging the food for the window was EXTREMELY RUDE to the younger staff member in the window who still kept a smile on her face and gave great service despite the undeserved treatment she was getting. This woman was confused about the order and when the younger window gal politely corrected her she snapped at her saying you parked a car? GREAT. And shoved my salad into her torso. I understand when things are busy people can become stressed, we're human, but that was absolutely not ok and I wanted to make sure the franchise owner was aware of this and can get to the bottom of who it was. Used to eat at this location frequently in the 90's when I thought it was pretty good, but it has gone really downhill. Ate there black friday while out shopping. Fries were cold, and all small pieces, tasted like they had been put back in fryer a second time. Dripping grease and salt, unedible. Hamburger would have been okay, but it too was completely cold, and I swear the burgers keep getting smaller. Agree with others that you can do a lot better going somewhere else for the money now.
