I am generally pretty amiable, but uh. This was a bad experience. Ordered the returned popcorn chicken, and a chicken little. The popcorn chicken was great! Came out piping hot and very good, only issue was: it does coat the inside of your mouth with a very strange, drying feeling that lasts for about three hours. It's surreal. Here's the problem: the staff here are not wonderful. I ordered ahead via the app by about five minutes. Which seems like a little, but people order in the drive thru, so no -- it's actually a heads up, compared to that. So I order ahead, pull up, and am told, 'Hey, yeah, so that might take a while, pull up to the window and we'll see if we can do that for you in time.' Now, I'm back a few cars in line. It's about six or seven minutes until I even REACH the window. Then I get there and am told, 'They haven't started your order yet, go park out front and COME INSIDE TO PICK UP YOUR ORDER." To reiterate. I place my order ahead of time, am told to come to the drive thru, I sit IN LINE at the drive thru, and am then told to COME INSIDE and wait to pick up my order. So I go inside, learn there are two other people waiting for their popcorn chicken, and proceed to wait for about seven and a half minutes until my order is finished. When I pick it up, the guy asks if I want ranch or BBQ. I ask for ranch. He says, "I'm out of ranch. Guess I'm dissapointing everybody today!" This is. Quite wild, lol. Boy was I disappointed, I haven't been to this location before,KFC tends to be pricey, but when I saw the ad got a 8 piece for $10, well I was all over it. I get back to work and ready to eat, the chicken was not a golden brown, but a dark brown. Overcooked, and dry. There were parts not just plain not edible. My experience with KFC in the past has always been good food. I could have gone to a grocery store and purchase some dried chicken there for less, and probably not as dry. This location deserves an updated review, with a higher rating. They don't get the credit they deserve. They have to consistently deal with long lines, of people mass ordering food. It's truly impressive that it's not the longest drive thru line in town. They have typically really good service, and serve high quality food. They have an excellent indoor environment. Especially if you try not to look out the windows into the sad world, and just look at how the inside is, and eat your food in happiness. Plus, it's a joint KFC/A&W. While the Canadian A&W is just entirely different, and better, I still find the American original version to be very underrated. (Canada took its locations, and paid to be able to make them their own. Or something like that, I don't know every detail of what happened.) There's one con though, this is a franchise location I believe. They're typically pretty great at being on top of new things coming to KFC. But they don't have the KFC exclusive Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning anymore, unlike every other location I go to. There's no A&W fries anymore, either. Overall, this is a great KFC location. While there's a certain location in Centralia that may have a certain drink, or certain $0.50 wing deal, this location is still better. read more

When kfc is good, it's great. Sadly this is rare. This chain lacks standards, decent managers, and desire for happy customers. Chicken was tough & dry. Butchery was weird - one piece looked like a breast until I got into it. It did have a huge artery in it - that was appetizing. Not. And why does no one ever remove the kidneys? I don't want them. Sides were mostly adequate. Mashed potatoes tasted worse than instant ones I can buy in the store. They used to serve a honey butter concoction with rolls but now they're just hard & dry. They haven't found a way to wreck coleslaw. Yet. I'm sick of paying for shit food based on really old memories. Guess I have to make my own. It was take out. I love the original recipe but since they changed their oil to "make it healthier", the chicken is really greasy, but the taste is still the same (thank God)......besides, make KFC fried chicken healthy? I'm done with KFC in Longview, WA. Generally, I use drive-thru 3-5 times per year. I'm not exaggerating when I say that they have screwed up 100% of my orders. Last night was the final straw. I have eaten KFC 50 of my 68 years of life, in 22 countries and I have never tasted nasty KFC chicken, until recently. Three times I have gone too the KFC in Longview, Washington and the chicken has been burnt. Twice I bought the biscuits and ended up with part of the biscuits missing. This has all happened within the last 2 months, July 2019 - September 2019. It seems they have changed staff and not only is the food not being prepared correctly, but the drive thru staff are not nice at all. Very disappointed with my service today. Wife and I stopped by for a quick lunch. There were only a couple people inside and no line at the register. We waited to order for at least 5 minutes before we were finally halfheartedly greeted. The lady taking our order refused to smile at all, and she kept telling us our total before we were done with our order, she must have skipped the "can I get you anything else/will that be all" class. She told use it would be about a 6 minute wait for our food, which was fine. After about 20 minutes of waiting, and seeing 3 other groups of people order and served after us I got up to ask what the deal was. I asked when our food was coming and that it had been 20 minutes, the girl said "I forgot to drop your filet and it will be right up". I explained to her that we had been waiting a long time and that we were told 6 minutes. She apologized again and said it would be right up. I asked to speak to the manager. Another lady walked up presenting her self as the manager, she told us the same thing, it will be right up. I asked if we could be compensated for the 20 minutes we have been waiting. She walked away and had a young guy come talk to us, he also presented himself as the manager. I had to again re-explain who I was (he literally asked for my name on the order) and that I had been waiting for 20 minutes. He asked what we ordered, I told him and then pointed at his screen flashing red that said 21 minutes on it. I asked him why the 3 people after us had been served and we were still waiting, he responded with "there food was done before yours" when I asked him why he literally turned around and walked away. At this point I am losing my patience. Once our food was finally up I asked for the phone number for corporate and the girl told me "just google it". Infuriating experience today. I know working fast food sucks and stuff happens, but being courteous and having good customer service skills is not that hard. When a customer asks to be compensated for their disservice, you compensate them. When a customer is complaining you listen attentively and then offer a solution they can agree on. This KFC is pretty standard really. Has an A and W built in as well. Food is pretty much decent like most KFC's. Only thin is that they discontinued my favorite menu item. The amazing, delicious, and perfect Georgia Gold chicken. It was the most amazing tasting thing at KFC, while it was out I exclusively ordered it off their menu every time as nothing else compared. This was the last time I come to this franchise location. If I could give them one star I would. The only thing I can complement about this location is that they get you through the drive thru pretty quickly. That being said, it does no good if the order is ALWAYS screwed up. It was chilly in town today so thought a chicken pot pie would taste good, so ordered a $5 fill-up pot pie. This comes with a soda and a chocolate chip cookie. Get home, which is2 miles from the restaurant, let my dog out and then sit down to eat. No cookie. This makes me automatically PO'd because this is at least the 3rd time they forgot a cookie in our "Fill-Up" item. Open up my Pot Pie and it looks promising. I crack into the crust, which is tasty. Peel back a little more crust and look into the filling. No gravy, sauce whatever you'd like to call the soupy part of the pie. It's virtually dry, and the interior is pretty cold. I think the thing dried out sitting on a heating shelf under a heat light all day. It's dried out to the point it sticking to the bottom of the pie pan. Taste was blah, as expected. So, no cookie and a crappy pot pie. The soda was an A&W root beer, which I have a 6 pack of sitting in my fridge, so really didn't need it. I'm from the Southern US and grew up on real southern fried chicken. I know what this is supposed to taste like. The second item ordered was their Nashville Chicken. Ordered the 3 piece tenders option with a side of mashed taters. Taters were ok, but the tenders were on the small side, seasoned on only one side, no dipping sauce and no pickles (as the advertising picture indicates we're to be included). No soda was included in this meal. My main problem with this particular restaurant is their quality control. No one apparently checks what goes into the bag before it goes to the customer. No one checks to see if the food being served is fresh. They must have had 20 employees working. Can't one employee do quality control. WA state has one of the highest, if not the highest minimum wages offered. Is this the crappy service the owner of this restaurant deserves for the money they're paying this crew? They're horrible. The customer service in this place is lacking beyond what words can express. I came in with 2 adults and 4 kids, ages 16-5. We let several other customers ahead of us, as the little kids couldn't decide, and we knew this was going to be a convoluted order as we ordered from both menus. The girl who took our order was friendly enough, and repeated our order to make sure she'd gotten it correctly. We sat down and I looked over our receipt. Everything was correct. When we got the food however we were missing a medium sized french fry. No biggie, it happens. But the flunkie jerk-wad who handed out our order thought otherwise. I came up to the counter, he asked what was the problem, I said we were missing an order of fries, and then he argues "no you're not". Um...really guy? I informed him there are 5 orders of fries and an order of wedges on the receipt and we only got 4 orders of fries and the wedges. He continues to argue with me over how many orders we received even after I showed him the receipt and offered him to come around his high and mighty position behind the counter and count how many friggin orders of fries we received as I'm sure my kids hadn't devoured them within 2 minutes. His reply - I put that order together and I know how many fries I put on there. I'll give them to you this ONE time, but I know they were on there. AYFKM?! Listen here you little Eminem lookin burger boy. Maybe if you'd made it past a 6th grade education, you'd be better adept at counting. This tool's whole demeanor from the start was combative. Didn't have great service, ordered a chicken sandwich with no pickles. As she hands it to me she says "here's your chicken sandwich without pickles" I drove away and within a few minutes I can smell pickles, so I open up the sandwich and they gave me pickles. I hate pickles and once they touch your food you can get rid of the taste/smell! Definitely ruined it! I also ordered a water and they gave me a sprite.
