Finally something is occupying the space. I have never been here before, but heard great things. I found the chicken quality to be about as high as expected for a fast casual restaurant, which is not my preference. But it's not bad at all. They excel in the sauces, they have a plethora of options and the quality is high. I found the service to be better than expected, considering how busy it was. (I went months ago.) Everyone was friendly, and the food was given fast. I didn't love the atmosphere, however in the months since opening, I can imagine they've fixed it. So I'll leave it at that. Second visit was a HUGE disappointment. Dropped in for 20 boneless wings on my way home from work . Asked for 14 honey BBQ and 6 Louisiana, requested they be packed separate . Asked for ranch sauce and was told it was in the bag already . Drove 1 hr to get home with all wings in same box and NO SAUCE. The wings were way better than I expected for being a chain restaurant. There were so many options for flavors and made to order which I appreciated. There were so young gal working the counter (wish I paid attention to her name) was very nice, personable, great customer service! She was interactive with other customers already seated and went above and beyond. Kudos to her! I ordered on the app for the pickup option. When I was being given my order the lady reread my order to confirm it with me and she got everything correct, down to the sauce sides. She then peeked in the bag to check everything in there matched the order and handed it to me. We stopped at the Wingstop. It was not the opening day, but they were still taking over two hours to make original wings. They had to add ice to the ice machine. They had a lot of people in the preparation as well as on the register. The place was clean. Everyone was friendly. It just took a really long time for people to get their orders. I have had Wing stop previously. This new Wing stop in Longview has definitely lived up to the standard of the original company. With any new place in town that people maybe have never tried before there are things that need to be worked on. Getting the rhythm of making the food from order to pick up, dealing with the flow of the customers, working out the kinks of everything being so new. There is always a learning curve. I understand they just opened so it's busy I get it. But they need to get their orders prioritized. I placed my online order at around 3:10pm got to the place around 3:30 because it says my order was done, which I knew I was most likely still going to have to wait. I get there and it's packed of course I knew that was going to be the case. So I gave them the name on my order she said it wasn't ready yet. One of the cashiers is texting on her phone while up there and people are trying to get their orders. I'm waiting and waiting and so are other people. The orders keep coming in, people keep getting their orders. I hear customers complaining about being there waiting for over 45+ min for their online order. I'm there for about 1hour still waiting. I finally start to get frustrated and ask about my orders ETA. The guy says he doesn't see my order anywhere. At this point I'm a little furious, I show him my order online and says it's not being worked on or even got received. He asks for my order and tells the employees to get it done fast. I get my order within 5 min of him telling them and then I get home and see this! Do they really count those tiny pieces of chicken? I will definitely not return anytime soon. I will have to wait until they are able to clear all their boxes they have stacked up in the lobby making it so much more crowded, and until the hour long lines die down a little. I love wingstop!
