Btw, home/house made sauce! The crust had a nice cornmeal component. The crust is not thick not thin and will hold up well when handling. That said, they do load a good amount of cheese so it needs to be a solid crust. The toppings are plentiful on the super combo. They veggie pizza (w/no cheese) has a reasonable amount of toppings). My roommate was going to Bruno's, so I'm like sure I'll give it shot (mind you, I rarely eat pizza, not my thing) I wanted mushrooms and olives. Well I pulled up the website and was happy to see the combination has that plus sausage and pepperoni. It's just me, so I ordered a medium. Bruno's mess up and gave me a large instead. No complaints. To look at it, I was afraid it was over cooked, but it was fine. It has great flavor, and a ton, I mean a ton of toppings. Not I know why they are a little on the pricey side. Stopped to have their highly rated taco pizza. I wasn't impressed and the only thing that made it. A taco pizza was the packets of Heinz taco sauce they handed you to put on it. The food is just basic would rather have dominos, the pineapple was nasty and the sauce has no flavor mixed with the cardboard crust. The pizzas were fun - the taco pizza was good, as well as the super combo. The crust is nice and crunchy while remaining thicker than traditional "thin crust" pizza. I will say, I had to mark this down due to the 35 minutes it took from ordering our pizza to the time it got to the table during a slow period. But the owner (or manager?) delivered the pizza himself and was very pleasant and accommodating. The pricing is fair, as well. read more

I love pizza. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Hawaiian pizza. We were not impressed with either. The pepperoni pizza was so greasy and salty, it was difficult to eat more than one slice...and we didn't. The crust was neither great nor terrible, but definitely not even close to as good as most other pizza crust we've had in other restaurants. Their pizza is EXPENSIVE and I was extremely disappointed to spend so much money on pizzas I didn't even enjoy. The restaurant itself is pretty cool. Having recently moved to Longview my husband and I decided to try Bruno's hoping for a regular "go to" place. Service was so-so but staff were pleasant. Strange odor like cleaning products in the restaurant. Pizza was the most BLAND pizza I've ever had. Too many combinations with ground beef which has so little flavor. Looking for more with typical toppings such as ITALIAN sausage, mushrooms, olives etc. For the money, and it seemed expensive, I'd go to a chain for decent pizza. Bruno's take care of the weird odor. I remember this tasting a lot better 20 years ago. I thought I'd skip my go-to pizza places in town and give Bruno's a try since I did remember it being really good. I got the ultimate supreme pizza that had all the toppings and a side of wings. The wings were good but the pizza was just ok. There wasn't anything wrong as far as presentation or the amount of toppings, but the crust was so bland and a little more dense than I thought it would be. After four nights of camping in the Redwoods, and the delights and limitations of camping food that come with it, I believe I write for my whole family by stating we were ready for a hotel room night's sleep and pizza delivery. Pulling into our hotel kinda late, and seeing that Longview, WA isn't really a huge town, I wasn't too hopeful. Bruno's Pizza proved to be a gem and just what we were looking for. I ordered three large pies-- a cheese, a Hawaiian, and a Veggie--along with wings. Within an hour, we were enjoying very good pizza laying on hotel beds watching bad hotel TV. Like, Impractical Jokers bad. Which, just like pizza... even when it's bad, it's good. Thankfully, the adage didn't need to be applied to Bruno's pies. The toppings were fresh and abundant, delivery was a snap, and the wings were meaty and good. Happily pleased with the food. At north of $80, it wasn't exactly cheap, but considering we had subsisted on $40 of groceries for four days in our pop up trailer, it was OK to splurge a little. THIS PLACE VIOLATES WASHINGTON STATE HEALTH CODE!!! Tonight I observed zero employees correctly wearing a mask, as required by the lawful and constitutional emergency health orders. The owner/manager was sitting at a table in the front, doing the books...wearing no mask at all. Both counter employees wore their masks below the nose (which is effectively the same as no mask)...and the cook wore his below the mouth! Seriously, the cook had his mask only over his chin!! I watched him cut a pizza (possibly your pizza!) mouth open, nose exposed... mucous and saliva particles being emitted with every breath. Yuuuummmmmm. A report has been filed with the Washington State Department of Health, with a copy to Governor Jay Inslee's office, to initiate appropriate enforcement action. This establishment needs to comply, or should be fined/shutdown. If you care about your own health, I strongly suggest ordering elsewhere. A corporate chain may not be as tasty, but at least health policies are taken seriously and adhered to there. read more

My wife and I had a date night tonight and were craving some good pizza. We were seriously disappointed in Bruno's. We ordered a cheese pizza, some bread sticks and a salad. The salad was okay and the breadsticks were yummy. But, as soon as the pizza arrived I was concerned as it was sprinkled with white and yellow cheese. The cheese tasted thick and not like pure mozzarella. I think they mix in American cheese too. The crust was dry and hard. The crust was so hard that it would crack in the middle, below the thick layer of cheese. I added graded parmigiana and pepper flakes to add flavor but it still tasted like dry cornmeal crust and globs of processed cheese. I felt bad about saying something because the owner was super nice and so was our server. But I also felt bad about wasting our date night money on this food. read more

15 years ago we were invited to an event held at Bruno's and since then every time we are traveling through Longview , about 4 times a year, we always stop at Bruno's. Our favorite is their loaded pepperoni pizza, So delicious, Great crust and Tasty sauce. No complaints just constantly good pizza. read more

It is filling, I'll give it that, but I wouldn't call it pizza. Ordered a thin crust 1/2 pepperoni / 1/2 HawaiIan. Crust is weirdly crisp and rigid, corn meal base? Not particularly thin either. Even microwaving the leftovers didn't make it bend much. Not my idea of a pizza crust, but the locals seem to like it. The crust was under-sauced by a long shot, (and as metioned previously,) the cheese blend is worse than what you would expect to find on nachos. Absolutely no cheese (mozzerella or otherwise) pull at all. Like they literally didn't cook the shrimp that was on the pizza it was very gross and extremely sloppy because they put so much and it was just rolling off the slice.
